My Perfect Female CEO-Chapter 975: Inhuman Warriors
The death of Hunting Squad Nine caused no ripples beneath the deep waters of Ba Country. Since the news didn’t spread, what could have shocked Ba Country and even sent the Underworld quaking, remained momentarily a secret.
All factions kept their actions ceaseless.
Yahward schemed for a kill.
Under the leadership of Sato Kojima, the entire fourth team of Japan’s special forces converged towards Ba Country.
Ghost, commanded by the Deceitful Fox, was ready with a killer move, brewing a deadlier strike.
The Wild Alliance Headquarters’ stronghold temporarily settled while the vigilant guards didn’t relax for a moment.
Soon, it was noon of the next day.
In a secluded small forest, a temporary campsite was heavily guarded.
Inside the camp, besides the warriors patrolling with guns, two groups of people stood out. One was a group of young men, each exhibiting a fearless look, as if waiting for orders, while the other was composed entirely of children, both boys and girls, who differed from ordinary children—each lacking the expressions typical of their age, appearing unusually cold.
This camp was under Michael’s command. Following Yahward’s orders, Michael had led a group of elite warriors to the attack site. If an assault were initiated, within less than an hour they could launch a thunderous strike against the Wild Alliance Headquarters.
The personnel Michael had gathered numbered around five to six hundred warriors, over a hundred of them were Death Warriors, and the children too were trained by Yahward into child soldiers; each bloodthirsty, ruthless, and devoid of humanity.
In a corner of the camp, two little boys engaged in a game; a game of extreme cruelty and cold-bloodedness.
A revolver lay before them, loaded with one bullet. One boy picked up the gun and pulled the trigger at the other boy’s head.
The gun emitted a crisp metallic sound, but no bullet was discharged. 𝚏𝗿𝗲𝐞𝐰𝚎𝕓𝐧𝚘𝘃𝗲𝐥.𝐜𝚘𝕞
Then, the gun fell into the hands of the other boy, who smiled coldly and unhesitatingly fired at the boy who shot first.
The boy under the gun’s aim wore a fearsome indifferent expression. When the muzzle was pointed at them, their expression was dead silent, but when the gun fell into their hand and they judged another’s life, their face abruptly twisted into a cruel, sinister grin.
All around, shrill cries and cheers rose continuously.
The air reeked of tobacco, with expressions and smiles that viewed life as worthless, emitting a bizarre, inhuman aura.
Initially, when training these child soldiers, a single meal could instigate a blood feud. By now, these soldiers had become a dreadful threat. Who would’ve thought ordinary children could pose such a threat?
If these soldiers suddenly carried out an assault or detonated the explosives strapped on them, there would be no defense against such an attack, illustrating their formidable danger.
"Bang!" The bullet finally fired out of the gun, roaring out. One boy collapsed to the ground, while the victorious boy smiled coldly, as the other boy’s head exploded, spraying blood all over his face.
The surrounding area was filled with chaotic celebratory laughter.
The dead boy’s body was dragged away by a warrior.
The camp emitted a bizarre, inhuman aura, bloodthirsty, ruthless, and brutal.
Inside Michael’s simple tent, he was communicating with Yahward, reporting the situation, "The attack force is ready. Please issue the order for when to launch the assault."
"No need to wait for nightfall—the responsibility to lead the attack lies fully with you. Prepare a swift assault immediately; we need a major victory to boost morale. I want Kasam to realize my power and to fear my ruthlessness. Once the Wild Alliance Headquarters’ stronghold is breached, the rest of their members will scatter into a disarray, posing little to no threat. The burden on your shoulders is heavy so don’t disappoint me; ensure a stunning victory." Yahward stated indifferently.
He desperately needed a major victory to intimidate his opponents and subordinates. Warriors attempted to flee from time to time; he wanted to prevent this phenomenon. Now, what he could do was initiate a major conflict with Kasam, dragging the warriors into the fight, so those with divergent thoughts wouldn’t entertain unrealistic notions.
To this end, Yahward had invested greatly, deploying loyal elite warriors, Death Warriors, and child soldiers.
If attacking at night, perhaps they could gain some advantages, but also face numerous drawbacks; it would be better to openly fight a battle, using powerful force to destroy the Wild Alliance Headquarters.
"Understood, for the sake of the grand cause, for wealth and status, I’ll not let you down. If I fail in the task, I’ll remove my own head and die to apologize." Michael declared loudly.
Soon, Michael’s orders were issued, the attack force departed the camp heading towards their destination.
At the Wild Alliance Headquarters’ stronghold, Michael’s faction exposed themselves.
Ku Eryue, Nami, and Tie Zhongshi gathered immediately beside Ye Fan to report the situation.
"Yahward’s men have come at us. Initial estimates place their number at around nine hundred people; apart from the majority of warriors, there are approximately three hundred Death Warriors and child soldiers strapped with explosives. Clearly, Yahward is determined to breach the Wild Alliance Headquarters, seize the chance to start a war, deprive us of aiding Kasam, drag Ba Country into warfare, and thereby expand their power," Ku Eryue reported back, then said with extreme difficulty, "Before, Yahward attacked us without deploying Death Warriors and child soldiers. The grand scale of this attack is certainly not to be underestimated."
"The Death Warriors and child soldiers trained by Yahward have executed numerous assassination tasks, and for the military and political higher-ups of Kasam’s side, every kill was accurate. Yahward’s methods are essentially suicidal attacks, hard to guard against." Nami declared urgently, "This time, Death Warriors and child soldiers switch to an attacking role. Their advantage isn’t apparent, but once they approach the stronghold, it poses a massive threat."
Ye Fan, through his binoculars, observed Michael and others, feeling a chill in his heart. Especially seeing those child soldiers, made him feel unease; yet to feel pity and allow them close might result in casualties among the Wild Alliance members.
Ku Eryue pleaded, "Benefactor, leave dealing with Michael entirely to me. You have no room to intervene—Michael wants to charge forward, but it’s not so easy. I’ll suppress him quickly."
"Prepare yourself to eliminate any approaching enemies without hesitation," Ye Fan said blandly. Showing mercy to enemies would be atrocious towards ourselves.
Ku Eryue’s petition was naturally considerate of his feelings, fearing his reluctance to act. However, he would not sacrifice Wild Alliance members’ lives due to compassion. Thus, necessary retaliation must be executed; child soldiers must not be allowed near to execute suicidal raids.
