My Perfect Female CEO-Chapter 910: The Death of Guo Xiong
The hooked-nose man instantly came up with the best response. The suite was large, and if Guo Xiong hid, others would take some time to find him. If he called for help immediately, he could turn danger into safety. Of course, this was the worst-case scenario; ideally, he would easily handle the enemy, and although subsequent arrangements might seem redundant, they were essential.
If the enemy were equal in strength or had a numerical advantage, another possibility would arise. 𝚏𝐫𝚎𝗲𝕨𝐞𝐛𝕟𝚘𝐯𝚎𝗹.𝕔𝐨𝗺
For absolute security, the hooked-nose man had to consider all issues.
Just as Guo Xiong was about to hide, the door opened, and a man with a concealed face walked in.
This man was Gu Qiong.
After locking the door behind him, he looked at Guo Xiong and the hooked-nose man, releasing a murderous intent.
"Who are you? What is your purpose? Do you know you’re courting death?" The hooked-nose man accused, verbally challenging, "You dare offend the Guo Family; that’s an enormous crime with consequences you can’t bear. If you know what’s best, leave early, or you won’t even have the chance to regret it."
"Once upon a time, the Poisonous Bee was somewhat renowned in the Underworld, but now he willingly becomes the Guo Family’s lapdog, abandoning his identity as an assassin and mercenary, taking on a job that exchanges servility for a worry-free life—a pityful sight indeed." Gu Qiong spoke slowly, revealing the hooked-nose man’s former identity and nickname.
"Who are you? Why hide your face? Since you know I’m the Poisonous Bee, you should understand the consequences of provoking me." Poisonous Bee coldly said, "You dare show hostility towards my protected target, so bold indeed—you don’t even have the courage to reveal your true face, do you?"
Poisonous Bee’s heart trembled; anyone who could name the Poisonous Bee must at least know him.
Yet even so, the intruder emitted murderous intent and confidence, suggesting he didn’t care about Poisonous Bee or had other means—if true, the situation was dire.
He tried to discern the intruder’s identity from Gu Qiong’s voice but to no avail.
Guo Xiong was also terrified. As a local tyrant, no one dared target him, but now someone did. Caught off guard and in panic, his usual calm was lost.
"Don’t spew nonsense, you’re already dead. Knowing my identity won’t make you rest in peace? In that case, I’d rather you die unrested." Gu Qiong chuckled lightly.
"So arrogant, as long as I’m here, don’t touch the Patriarch! I don’t care who you are; daring to challenge me alone proves you’re courting death." Poisonous Bee’s murderous intent surged, ready to pounce like an enraged leopard.
"Haha, merely a Poisonous Bee, dare to act so arrogantly? In that case, I’ll kill you first." Gu Qiong smiled smugly, but his smile was full of mockery.
"Patriarch, hide and call for help in case someone’s assisting outside. Don’t leave the room." Poisonous Bee advised.
"You’re truly stupid. I locked the door to prevent the sound from getting out or someone foolishly trying to break the door, or passing onlookers seeing. All my actions prove I’m alone, no second person, but you still doubt there’s someone aiding me." Gu Qiong said, his voice becoming colder. "Poisonous Bee, you pig-headed fool, I won’t blame you for misjudging the situation. However, doubting someone’s assisting me is unforgivable. How dignified I am—how could I let others assist me? That’s the greatest insult."
"Die, you nagging fool! I hope your skills match your mouth!" Poisonous Bee was enraged, attacking Gu Qiong.
As a Human Body Limit expert, everyone had their pride. Gu Qiong’s words infuriated Poisonous Bee.
So, he advanced, wanting to kill this boastful fool beneath his hands.
"Courting death!" Gu Qiong rushed to meet him.
Guo Xiong hesitated no longer; he ran to get his phone to call for help.
In a blink, Gu Qiong and Poisonous Bee exchanged blows.
In just about three moves, the sound of fists and feet colliding was like rumbling thunder, constantly bursting, causing air ripples from their movements.
Then, Poisonous Bee’s silhouette flew like a thrown bomb, kicked away by Gu Qiong, coincidentally hitting the running Guo Xiong, who wailed and fell, the phone he was about to dial flying away.
Poisonous Bee hurriedly stood up, spurting a mouthful of blood. He felt the internal turmoil and was instantly panic-stricken, exclaiming, "Who are you? With such skills, easily defeating me—there aren’t many like you in the Underworld."
"You think you deserve to know my identity?" Gu Qiong raised his head disdainfully. "Weren’t you boasting a moment ago? Afraid now, but too late, face your demise."
With that, Gu Qiong charged, his deadly moves like a downpour, covering Poisonous Bee entirely.
Two minutes later, Poisonous Bee lay dead, eyes wide open, lifeless, blood spewed staining the surroundings red, the thick smell of blood filling the air.
It’s hard to reach Human Body Limit, but those who do know this realm has strengths and weaknesses, levels defined. Poisonous Bee was a seasoned expert, but he couldn’t match Gu Qiong, lasting two minutes illustrating Poisonous Bee’s strength.
Still, Gu Qiong’s top rank and reputation weren’t for nothing.
Guo Xiong was dumbfounded, seeing Poisonous Bee repeatedly thrown aside; he was powerless to continue hiding, though he considered calling for help—Gu Qiong toyed as if by play, making Poisonous Bee collide with him, his bones nearly shattered, sapping him of strength to reach the phone.
Seeing Poisonous Bee dead, he felt like crying.
With Poisonous Bee dead, how far could his own death be?
He lay on the ground, glancing at the phone within sight, giving up rescue, knowing no chance, also abandoning the plan to hide—it wouldn’t work.
"I’ll give you money, lots and lots of it. You’re an assassin, right? Don’t killers love money? Though I don’t know why you’ve come to kill me or who sent you, I can give you plenty of money just to spare my life. Killing me gets you nothing, dirties your hands. Not killing me, the benefits are astounding." Guo Xiong pleaded, in desperation his plea had some merit.
"Ah, I don’t want to dirty my hands, either. Today, I’ll reluctantly do it once." Gu Qiong playfully smiled, looking at his hands, then walked straight to Guo Xiong.
Amid Guo Xiong’s pleas, Gu Qiong stomped, crushing Guo Xiong’s head.
Guo Xiong died like that.
