My Muscle System in the Mage World-Chapter 427: Test
Aur nodded casually.
"Thank you."
"Haha, good, good." Moonlight patted Aur's shoulder and gestured. "Have you recovered enough?"
"Yes," he replied, meeting Moonlight's gaze. A strange sense of familiarity washed over him, as if he were standing before a long-lost brother. It was an odd feeling, one that seemed to stir from deep within his bloodline.
Aur quickly steadied his thoughts, his mind reeling in shock. *Is this a side-effect of the bloodline?*
Why did this group feel so harmonious? From what he observed, their bond ran deep—so deep that they entrusted their very lives to one another without hesitation.
It would have been understandable if only some shared such a connection, but Aur could sense it among all of them. And the reason was clear—bloodline.
This might also be one of the main reasons they had survived despite being ousted by the Divine Human Kingdom and relentlessly hunted by the entire world.
In the end, it all came down to strength!
*No wonder,* Aur mused.
While this realization passed in the blink of an eye, Moonlight suddenly called out:
"Brother, you should follow me. Master has summoned you."
"I see. I was hoping to meet him as well."
Aur flashed a smile and swiftly followed Moonlight down the corridor. The passage stretched ahead like an intricate maze, twisting and turning with every step.
"Hmm, this is strange," Aur murmured, his gaze fixed on Moonlight's back.
With each turn, the turning path became more deeply etched into his memory…
"It feels like a pattern… If I follow this pattern in my mind, then… it will be…" Aur murmured, pausing as his thoughts delved into everything he had comprehended about magic so far.
A strange sensation surfaced within him, a creeping realization that this maze wasn't just a passage—it was the structure of a spell.
If he relied solely on observation, deciphering it would be impossible. However, if he could connect this feeling with his existing knowledge of magic, aligning the patterns with his understanding, then, perhaps, he could fully grasp the spell.
Aur's eyes gradually glazed over, his consciousness slipping into deep contemplation. By the time they reached the door, he was entirely entranced, stopping mechanically just behind Moonlight.
Moonlight frowned at the sight and spoke with a puzzled expression, "What's he doing?"
Before Moonlight could say another word, his eyes suddenly widened in astonishment, his heart trembling.
"Could it be…?"
Just then, a voice came from beyond the door.
"Leave him alone."
Moonlight halted immediately and responded with a respectful nod. "Yes, Master."
A tense hour passed in what felt like an instant. Then, Aur's pupils flickered slightly as awareness returned to his gaze. He looked around, his mind settling.
The voice from the door spoke again.
"You may enter now."
"Yes." Aur nodded, his expression once more calm and tranquil. The door creaked open on its own, and he stepped inside with Moonlight.
Seated in the room, cross-legged, was a man with a pleasant smile. His eyes rested on Aur with an intrigued glint.
"I wonder, Aur—what did you comprehend?"
"A Space Magic spell," Aur replied honestly. He assumed this to be some kind of trial. In the presence of a Tier Eight Wizard, his meager comprehension of magic and spells was utterly insignificant.
If he could decipher it, then others could as well. Though he had confidence in his talent for magic comprehension, he was well aware that there were those far superior to him.
"Oh?" Kael'Zirath raised a brow. "You are quite honest."
"What's the point of hiding?"
Kael'Zirath's smile faded, his expression turning cold and unreadable. His tone grew sharp:
"But you were not supposed to know this spell. Now, what should I do?" He squinted his eyes, the air around him chilling.

Aur met his gaze, unwavering. "Surely, the Dragonian Emperor is not concerned over a mere Space Magic spell?"
"Haha." Kael'Zirath clapped his hands, his amusement evident. "You're really smart, Aur. I like smart people."
Then, without warning, he shifted the conversation.
"Do you know why you were able to enter the Fourth Dimension so easily?"
Aur narrowed his eyes. To his knowledge, no one below a Tier Seven Wizard had ever accessed the Fourth Dimension.
There were undoubtedly individuals more talented than him—those nurtured from the womb with endless resources, those who had at least grasped the fundamentals of Time and Space Magic. Yet, despite all that, he had never heard of anyone accomplishing this feat. Even Stella had never mentioned such a possibility.
This was unprecedented.
'Then there's only one explanation…' he thought.
"It's because I'm an unknown creature," Aur stated, his voice steady. "Someone who came from the otherworld."
"That's correct." Kael'Zirath clapped his hands, a grin spreading across his face. "Unless you are completely unbound by this world's restrictions, you would never be able to comprehend Time and Space Magic before reaching the peak of a Tier Six Wizard."
"I see… So that's how you figured out I'm an unknown creature—not from this world?" Aur narrowed his eyes.
"Smart." Kael'Zirath's grin didn't waver. "In fact, that man wasn't truly working for you. He sold out his companion for a mere handful of resources."
Aur froze, his expression darkening. A fierce light flashed in his eyes. "Where is he now?"
"He's long gone," Kael'Zirath said casually. "Though judging by your reaction, it seems you have a grudge against him."
Aur's body trembled with rage. "That bastard… I'll kill him soon."
"... You can leave now. For now, focus on familiarizing yourself with your Bloodline Mental Space."
Aur took a deep breath, suppressing his fury. He bowed. "Thank you, Master."
With that, he turned and left.
After Aur left, silence settled over the room, leaving only Moonlight and Kael'Zirath behind.
"Master, are you sure?" Moonlight asked hesitantly. "This guy feels like an unstable factor, especially if he recklessly starts seeking revenge…"
"Haha." Kael'Zirath chuckled, swirling his tea. "Do you know that if he hadn't shown even a little emotion, I would have been wary of him?"
"Eh?" Moonlight was stunned.
Kael'Zirath offered no further explanation, simply savoring his tea in quiet amusement.
With no answer to his concerns, Moonlight eventually left. Though he considered himself a righteous person, when it came to the Dragonian race, he would never hesitate to eliminate a threat—no matter who they were.
Aur seeking revenge against a Tier Seven would inevitably entangle them as well, and that left Moonlight more than a little dissatisfied.
Left alone in the room, Kael'Zirath gazed into the reflection of his tea, his eyes deep and unreadable.
"He's still just a kid who hasn't learned the ways of the world," he murmured. "If he had felt no desire for revenge, he would have been *too* rational… A person like that would be the most terrifying kind of wizard, especially as an unknown creature."
Morality meant nothing. In this cruel world, those who sought the pinnacle of power had no use for emotions—anger, hatred, revenge, love.
This was universal knowledge. And yet, very few wizards had ever been able to completely sever their emotions, to dedicate themselves solely to a singular goal. Even the oldest of monsters, those who had lived through countless ages, still clung to their emotions in some form.
In the end, humans were emotional beings. And emotions were what bound them to one another.
"If Aur were free of those constraints, controlling him would be… troublesome," Kael'Zirath mused.
A cruel smile curled his lips.
"I should test his resolve… Only in the face of life and death will he reveal his true nature."
