My Mother Has a System but Won't Use It-Chapter 236: Entering a Fantasy with Han Li
"Is… it done?" Hua Yu asked.
The Spirit growled. "Don't be impatient."
"Han Li is still not waking up."
"Of course, he won't wake up this quick. At least 3 hours and at most seven days, he won't wake up at any other time."
A passing wind ruffled her hair, and Hua Yu held it with her hand. They were still above that mystical ocean, and Han Li was still unconscious. According to what she learned from the Spirit, Han Li was apparently giving birth to his own Vital Weapon.
It had been a great revelation to Hua Yu. The fact that Vital Weapons existed was somewhat of a headroller for her. The fact that it was the primary cultivation system of another world made her even more baffled.
Apparently, in the vast cosmos, there were two Everlasting Worlds. Worlds that would never die. Yes, even Worlds apparently died when they grew too old. Even the Seven Continents would vanish at some point in billions of years.
But the two Everlasting Worlds were immortal—Everlasting Human World and Everlasting Beast World. Those worlds didn't cultivate Sparks or Dao Souls; that was the way the people of Seven Continents cultivated.
For one, Everlasting Beast World cultivated Beast Cores and evolutions. As for the Everlasting Human World, they cultivated Vital Weapons. It was a path much more sturdy than the Dao Tree Path of their Seven Continents.
Seven Continent's people were too reliant on the Heavens. Even their Magical Powers were not their own. Only the 7 Demon Inheritors could even be considered actual cultivators.
All of that was head-spinning news for Hua Yu, and the Spirit gave them for free. Of course, Munyu was not lazy while she did it; she was overwhelming Han Li's will on the Necklace and taking control of it.
She needed to bring the people inside of it out. She needed to do that.
"So, what is Han Li currently seeing?"
"Hm?" The Spirit chuckled. "His past. He is reliving his life's most major moment—where his mind decided his purpose in living."
"He is unconscious, yet you can't force away this will of his from the necklace?" Hua Yu was still wary of the Spirit but couldn't even see it. The best she could do was to take the necklace away from Han Li's physical body.
He wouldn't be harmed, at least.
"His will is nearly as strong as mine when I was at my peak, and I am at my bottom now." The Spirit sighed, and then finally, the necklace brightened, and three women popped out into the real world.
Yue Li, Liyue, and Ruo.
"Just enough!" Munyu laughed, and the other three women looked around nervously.
What was this calm ocean?
Everything was so blue.
Liyue was the first to calm down, and she asked with a bit of worry, "Why are we standing above the ocean and not sinking?"
"It's some kind of mystery ocean," Hua Yu said.
Ruo stood up and silently looked at the ocean. There was a frightened look on her face, which soon turned into horror. "We're above the fucking ocean…"
Yue Li came beside her and held her. "You at least fear something. Humph, don't worry, you won't sink and die when Hua Yu is around."
Ruo held Yue Li's hand tightly and looked away from the ocean. Her eyes focused on Han Li, who was gracefully asleep. "Why the fuck is he sleeping now?" Stay tuned for updates on m-vl-em,pyr
Liyue sneaked behind her and pushed Ruo away from Yue Li. The frightened young lady immediately screamed. "This is no joke, big sis; I'll die!"
Ruo turned on her heels and immediately caught Hua Yu's hand. She really was frightened. Looking down at the ocean… it was so dark deep down, and it just gave her the chills.
She clung to Hua Yu's hand as her life depended on it.
"Sister Hua Yu, push her away," feeling snarky, Liyue chided.
Hua Yu smiled and pushed Ruo away. Even Yue Li was looking at her with amusement but Ruo just felt breathless. "This—this is no joke. I don't like this. Please, no."
All of them simultaneously frowned. Ruo had shrunken into a ball and had closed her eyes and ears. "Big Brother. Bi—Big Brother, save me!"
"Tsk." Liyue clicked her tongue and moved beside Ruo. She pinched the girl's cheek. "I didn't think you were that frightened."
The Spirit's voice came from the necklace in Hua Yu's hand, "Liyue, sit around Han Li and hold onto him. All of you."
"You are here too?" Liyue muttered. "Why the hell do I have to listen to you?"
"It's for Han Li's sake."
"Come Ruo, let's sit with Big Bro."
Eyes teary, the Young Lady Ruo nodded and just clung onto Liyue. When they finally reached Han Li, they sat around him, and each of them held onto a part of him.
Yue Li was the one frowning now. "Liyue, who is speaking? I don't see anyone, but I can hear the noise."
"Don't worry, she is trustworthy—I'll introduce her later."
Yue Li took Han Li's head and placed it on her lap, Ruo took his left hand, and Liyue took his right hand. Hua Yu was beside Ruo, holding onto his left wrist.
"We will all be moving into Han Li's memory scape now and will experience his major life event with him. You will have complete autonomy in that time, but I will warn you, there is no assurance that everything you see there will be the same as reality."
"Why are we doing this?"
"This is a technique I can use. It would help you awaken your own Vital Weapons along with him—but beware, all of our memory scapes, Han Li's, mine, Liyue's, Yue Li's, Ruo's, and Hua Yu's. We will all lose ourselves in a fantasy world. It will change from his old memories entirely because of us."
"I don't get it," Ruo said weakly. "What is going on?"
"Just know that from now on, we will all enter multiple fantasies, and our only goal in each of them is to find and interact with Han Li. If possible, try to become conscious and break out of the dream. When we wake up, we will all have our Vital Weapons."
"Can't we bring the rest of the sisters?"
"I tried, but his will on the necklace is too hard; I'll be exhausted before I bring all of them out," The Spirit was calm.
Liyue touched the necklace and felt the Existence inside. There was also a Heart Qi will that utterly blocked her way in. Her mind was calm; she felt for the will and smiled inwardly. Indeed, she was not the Spirit.
Han Li's will would, of course, not reject her.
She was special to him.
"Sadly, I don't have the ability to make them levitate. I guess they have to work hard themselves to awaken this Vital Weapon later—for now, it's only us."
"It's not that hard to Awaken if you know how to do it. I'll help the others awaken the Vital Weapon when it's their turn." The Spirit said, "But for us, it is now. And let me tell you one last time: we will be in all kinds of situations, but if you die in there, you will fail to awaken the weapon now and will lose the ability to do that forever. So never die."
Ruo scratched her cheeks, and her hand tightened around Han Li's. "We wouldn't sink into the sea, right?"
"No. This place is safe."
"I don't know what is going on now… I just want to go home…"
"Shut up, Ruo, don't be such a coward."
"It's all Han Li's fault," Ruo gave Han Li's hand a squeeze in anger, but it was too powerful. "Now I can't go back to the Temple for so long…"
Suddenly, she started to feel sleepy, and her eyes blurred.
'What is going on?'
Her head spun, and she fell onto Han Li's chest. The last thing she heard was his vigorous heartbeat and then, it was silence and darkness.
'Hm, so I should try to awaken this Vital Weapon, huh? If I do, everyone will be proud of m…'
