Chapter 74: Chapter 74 unexpected connections

Mr "Michaelson, you don’t have to come if you’re busy. It’s really troublesome."

"It’s on the way, no trouble at all."

Gary waved his hand and said, "As long as you’re recovering well, we’ll be relieved."

With his status, he even remained so caring. It really touched me.

"Thank you, Michaelson."

After a few more pleasantries, I changed the subject. "Michaelson, later on, I’d like to introduce you to a friend of mine. He is also a star in our Sevan manufacturing industry."

Gary smiled and responded, "Who is it? As long as they’re a prominent CEO in Sevan, chances are I know them!"

He was so confident in his speech.

I smiled, about to speak, when urgent footsteps could be heard outside, followed by the door opening. Edward hurried in. "William, how are you doing?"

"Edward!" I responded, then said to Michaelson, "This is my friend, the CEO of Wallace Company, Edward."

Edward looked surprised but quickly composed himself, asking, "Michaelson, what brings you here?"

Gary smiled warmly and extended his hand. "Edward, we just met yesterday. I didn’t expect to meet again today."

Damn, they knew each other?

Well, Edward’s business was quite substantial, so it was normal for Gary to know him.

Edward was visibly intrigued as he asked, "Michaelson, what are you doing here?"

Gary smiled. "I came to visit William!"

Upon hearing this, Edward’s gaze toward me completely changed. There was confusion, doubt, and shock!

"William, when did you get to know Michaelson?"

I smirked. "I just got to know him a few days ago."

"Michaelson, since you’re acquainted, that’s even better," I said. I continued seriously. "I have an awkward request and hope you can help."

Gary was a prominent figure in Sevan’s manufacturing industry, renowned for his expertise and the excellence of his produced equipment within the country.

Edward was currently in dire need of equipment.

But one thing was clear. He didn’t get the equipment from Gary. Even if he had placed an order, it wouldn’t have arrived so soon.

Gary owed me a favor, and in moments like these, it was time to cash in.

People were afraid of trouble, particularly unpaid favors, which weighed heavily on their minds over time.

Gary said, "Please, tell me what you need, if I can be of help."

I smiled and said, "Actually, it shouldn’t be too difficult. Edward is my friend. He has helped me a lot before, and his factory urgently needs some equipment. I was hoping you could lend a hand, Michaelson!"

Since I was a junior, I should act like one.

"I see." Gary smiled and replied, "This is manageable. Edward, I apologize for the delay. The production line you need won’t arrive until next year. However, these days, a company’s funding chain has run into problems, and the funds have not been in place. According to the contract, I can dispose of this batch of equipment at will. So, if you agree, we can have the production line set up within three days."

Edward was thrilled. He warmly shook Gary’s hand and said, "Thank you, Michaelson. I am so grateful. This batch of production lines couldn’t have come at a better time!"

How could he miss Gary’s intentions? It was clearly cutting in line and diverting someone else’s production line to him.

This was a huge favor.

"Edward, you’re too kind. It’s also a coincidence. If William hadn’t reminded me, I was planning to tell you tomorrow."

His words were simply wonderful. They were a breath of fresh air, instantly uplifting.

He gracefully passed the favor my way without making a fuss, making it smooth for Edward to hear.

This level of tact was going to take me a minute to catch up.

Edward came over and shook my hand, saying, "William, you are my lucky star!"

I sincerely said, "Edward, you truly are my benefactor!"

Then I turned to Gary. "Michaelson, thank you so much."

Gary said, "We’re like family, no need for thanks."

Edward was even more surprised. He didn’t expect Gary to have such a close relationship with me, treating me like a younger relative.

"Has everyone eaten? How about I treat everyone today, and we can all go to JY Restaurant for a meal together?"

Gary said, "Sounds good, but William’s still recovering. He probably can’t eat too greasy food."

I said, "Edward, Michaelson, thank you for the invitation, but I might not be able to join you today. I have colleagues coming over later, so..."

"That’s a shame, but JY Restaurant’s banquet is excellent. I’ll have them prepare something lighter for William later," Frank said.

"That’s great. I haven’t tried it yet."

I did my best to mediate the situation.

How could Edward miss that? He chuckled. "William, you wait here, and I’ll be back later."

"Michaelson, shall we go?" Edward said to Gary.

Gary nodded. "William, let Lillian know what you want to eat, and we’ll bring it for you."

The previously bustling ward suddenly quieted down.

Mary and Lillian also left reluctantly.

Finally, it became peaceful and quiet.

But not long after, Paul and Grace arrived.

Seeing me in the deluxe ward, Paul joked, "Wow, you’re really something. This is where leaders and tycoons stay!"

I gave him a blank look. "If you’re so jealous, why don’t you get injured too and join me here?"

Paul chuckled. "No thanks, I’ll let you have this luxury all to yourself." freewebnσvel.cøm

Grace walked over and said, "William, make sure to rest well so that you can lead us effectively."

She leaned in flirtatiously, her front wide open, making me get hard again.

If Paul wasn’t there, I would have to set her straight.

After sitting for a while, they left after leaving gifts.

But Grace sent me a message: [I’ve been renewing that room for you all along.)

Damn, even in my condition, she was still teasing

me.

I would have to remind her of my prowess when I recovered.
