MY Masochistic CEO-Chapter 46 reluctant
Chapter 46: Chapter 46 reluctant
I didn’t call her the class monitor, nor did I expose her. I acted as if I didn’t know her.
Seeing that I didn’t call her by her real name, a hint of gratitude appeared in her eyes.
"That’s about right!"
Edward nodded, and then he and George each chose one, both from overseas.
George was flirting with them, his hands constantly wandering.
"William, do you want to call another one?" George asked.
I smirked, "No need, one is enough!"
"Didn’t expect William to be so faithful," George teased, burying his face in the woman beside him.
Edward was similar, but he played more artistically by rolling dice, and the loser had to remove an article of clothing!
I was already a bit tipsy, and in this environment, I was feeling even more restless.
"William, I’ve arranged a girl for you. Why are you so reserved? Do you want to talk about life and dreams with her?"
George raised an eyebrow, saying, "Edward, you don’t know this. Maybe William enjoys the thrill of the chase."
"William, there are three private rooms in the back. If you’re tired, you can rest at any time; don’t mind us!" George said to me. I felt a bit guilty, thinking, if your sister knew you were encouraging me to play with other women, would she tear you apart or tear me apart?
But now, under the influence of alcohol, I didn’t care about anything.
This woman was the one I had longed for in my university days, and now, if I wanted, I could embrace her at any time.
My heart was pounding, and my palms were sweaty.
I leaned in, whispering to her, "Lucy!"
She trembled, her head hanging low. "William, there’s only Leila here, no Lucy."
"Yes, you are Leila, also Lucy, and also my class monitor."
I was feeling excited, my hand trembling as it held her slender waist; my heart was about to leap out of my throat.
The scent of orchids and musk wafted into my nostrils. Years of dancing had made her waist exceptionally soft and elastic.
Lucy trembled even more. The dream of my youth right in front of me, I couldn’t help but kiss her earlobe, saying, "Lucy, it’s been over a year, and I’ve seen you again."
"William, please don’t do this. I..."
A hot tear fell on the back of my hand, and as I looked closely, I saw tears streaming down her cheeks.
She clutched her skirt tightly, her sobs drowned out by George’s singing.
"Why are you crying?" I asked.
"Because I’m ashamed!"
Lucy said, "You must think I’m despicable now, right?"
I shook my head, saying, "No. I don’t think that way."
"You do!" Lucy trembled even more. "I’ve only been here for a few days, and now I run into you. I know why men come here. In your eyes, I’m just a despicable sex maniac, right?"
"I really don’t."
I forced a bitter smile, saying, "You used to be a goddess on a pedestal, out of reach. Now that you’re here, I think you must have encountered some difficulties. No one would willingly abandon their dignity for this, and you wouldn’t either."
With so many wealthy suitors pursuing her back then, she wouldn’t have ended up like this if not for a family crisis.
Lucy looked at me and asked, "Really?"
"The sun and moon can attest to my heart."
Although I said that, my hand around her waist tightened, and my other hand grabbed her fair and slender hand.
"Thank you, William!"
Lucy wiped away her tears, saying, "I am indeed facing difficulties."
I didn’t ask further, nor did I have any intention of persuading her to change her ways. I wouldn’t waste my effort on something so thankless.
"Difficulties will always pass. Here, let’s toast to our first meeting over a year!"
I poured a glass of wine and handed it to her. Lucy nodded. "Cheers!"
After finishing the drink, Lucy said, "William, can I ask you for a favor?"
"Go ahead."
"Please don’t tell anyone you saw me here!"
I already knew she would say that, so I nodded. "Rest assured. I am known for keeping my mouth shut."
"Thank you, William, I toast to you."
Saying this, she poured herself a glass of wine. She was the type whose face turned red at the slightest sip, but how much she could handle, I wasn’t sure.
However, anyone working here must have a good tolerance for alcohol; otherwise, it’s simply not feasible.
Leaning back on the soft sofa, one arm around Lucy, I gently pulled her into my embrace. She exclaimed, "William, what are you doing?"
I remained silent, placing a hand on her leg wrapped in stockings.
Her body trembled, and she said, "William, I’m just here to accompany you, not... We are classmates, you..."
"Classmates can be affectionate when they meet again, don’t overthink it!" I said.
"William, you may say you don’t want to disrespect me, but your actions say otherwise."
There was a hint of helplessness and anger in her eyes. "You may be doing well now, but please, for the sake of our past as classmates, spare me some dignity."
Towards the end, her tone carried a hint of pleading.
All I could think about was fulfilling my college dream.
My self-control was usually strong, but the amount of alcohol I had consumed was dulling my senses, making me more emotional and impulsive. The gradually rising flames were slowly burning my rationality.
"Lucy, I never intended to disrespect you."
I looked into her teary eyes, watching her tears fall. "I could only admire you from a distance in the past. Though I admired you, I never dared to reveal my true feelings. You were a goddess, and I was just a speck of dust at your feet, never worthy of your attention."
"William, if you like me, I can give you a chance to pursue me, but please, please not like this? It would feel like a transaction, and and...."
"And what?"
My large hand gently caressed.
She grabbed my hand and said, "And I am only part-time. I haven’t sold my body, and I am still pure!"
"So, I also hope you respect me."
Part-time?
Pure?
I couldn’t help but chuckle. Was she trying to deceive me?
Seeing my disbelief, she hurriedly said, "It’s true. I haven’t lied to you. I... I haven’t given myself away yet!"
Upon hearing this, I became a bit impatient. "Lucy, we’re all adults here. Don’t take me for a fool. Pure virgins may exist, but not here!"
My words were harsh, almost accusing her of hypocrisy.
Lucy’s face turned pale. "I... I really didn’t lie to you!"
"Enough, no need to say more."
I lost interest. Although I really wanted to have Lucy at that moment, her constant pretense and evasion made me lose interest. It was as if I were forcing her.
