What Axel didn’t know was that when his wolf side shared with him the knowledge that the Creator had so kindly left them, other runic symbols had appeared on his body, and some that were already there had changed slightly, like the runic symbol of Divine power.

Mykael and Nolan watched this change with wide eyes, and Nolan then asked Mykael curiously, "At what level is Axel now?"

Mykael immediately came to his senses and told him, "For the moment, he is still at level God 7/10, but it should not be long before he reaches level God 8/10."

After a few minutes, he frowned and told Nolan, "That’s strange; he should have passed that level by now, but it’s as if he’s no longer trying to increase the amount of energy he’s able to draw... What the hell is going on..."

Suddenly, he saw runic symbols appearing all along the blade of his Divine sword, and he swore before saying hastily to Axel, "Son, I don’t know what you have in mind, but normally these runic symbols only appear on the blade when I’m about to reset a world..."

But he stopped talking when Axel, whose eyes had turned completely golden, looked at him and told him in a kind of double voice, as if both his human side and wolf side were speaking at the same time, "Don’t worry, Dad; I know exactly what I am doing."

Axel then placed his hand over the blade of his father’s Divine sword and added a series of runic symbols using divine energy. They appeared as if by magic as he engraved them, always in the same golden color as his tattoos.

When he finished what he wanted to do to his father’s Divine sword, and after the Divine sword had stopped glowing with a blinding light, Axel threw it to his father, who caught it by pure reflex.

Mykael swore as soon as he felt the change in power that his Divine sword had undergone.

But Axel did not stop there, and while his father’s attention was still on his sword, he approached him and said, while putting a hand on his shoulder and still in that strange double voice, "Dad, the Creator left me a part of the knowledge on how to use the runic symbols before leaving us. Since you are a God, I can engrave some of them on your body, which will allow you to absorb the Divine energy and strengthen your body to resist the Evil Element, just like me. Do you want to try?"

Mykael looked at him, but then he frowned and asked him because it was too good to be true, "Is it safe for you? You won’t risk falling into a coma because you’ll be mentally exhausted, will you?"

Axel smiled and said to reassure him, "I don’t feel any mental fatigue at all when using this new ability, but if I ever start to feel uncomfortable, I will tell you right away, okay? So... Do you want to try it? However, I don’t guarantee you that it will be painless."

Mykael was, of course, interested, but he looked at Nolan first, because he was supposed to train him after all, and Nolan then said to him before he even asked, "I have already learned more than I could have ever imagined about my ability, so if you can get stronger thanks to Axel, don’t worry; I promise I won’t try anything until you give me the go-ahead to resume our training."

Mykael then nodded appreciatively and said to his son, "If you can really engrave runic symbols on my body that will allow me to resist the Evil Element, then do it; I trust you completely."

These runic symbols were so powerful that they could only be engraved on a God or a Divine creature that had a God level of 5/10 or higher.

Kevin had already revealed to him that his father had a God level of 8/10, and he hoped that with the boost that these runic symbols would give him, he would reach God level 9/10.

He didn’t know yet if he would be able to engrave these symbols on someone else, but the more of them that could resist the Evil Element, the better.

Having received his father’s consent, he concentrated again on the Divine energy that was drawn to him like a magnet because of his golden tattoos.

Then he raised his hand so that it was right in front of his father’s chest, whose shirt immediately disintegrated as soon as the first golden tattoos appeared on his pectoral muscles. Others continued to appear, and soon all his torso was filled with these mysterious runic symbols up to his abdominal region.

These runic symbols were those of the Divine energy, Divine power, energy absorption, and the one of the Divine body strengthening.

Axel had arranged them on his father’s body in a precise pattern so that they could interact with each other, and so that his father, apart from concentrating on the power of his new golden tattoos, wouldn’t have to do anything.

When Axel finished creating this complex pattern for his father, the latter fell to his knees and began to spit blood.

"Fuck!" Axel thought immediately, joining his dad. As he had no idea how to help his father, he called Colin right away to the rescue, because this was the first time he had seen his father spit blood like that, and it didn’t seem to be getting any better.

He was beginning to worry when Colin suddenly teleported next to him, and his eyes widened when he saw the state Mykael was in.

He asked while kneeling down and helping Mykael, who was now extremely pale, to lie down on the floor, "What the hell did you do...? How did those golden tattoos appear on his chest?"
