My Mage System (BL)-Chapter 303: *You are suppose to protect this man and not kill him*

He explained to them that the God of War had sent his men to the world of the Titans to assess their strength and that they had stumbled upon a prison that looked exactly like the one where they had found Kelan. 𝙛𝒓𝓮𝒆𝔀𝒆𝙗𝓷𝒐𝙫𝒆𝙡.𝒄𝓸𝓶

He also told them that the Warrior Spirits who were under his command had a vision together and that two cell numbers appeared to them; Axel’s grandfather’s was one of the prisoners, and Solomon and Kerry’s uncle, Connor, was the other one. He also told them that the God of War wanted them to find out why these men were so important.

Kevin asked him suddenly, "Is the God of War my master? I’ve had doubts for a while now, and I can’t think of anyone else who is capable of commanding Warrior Spirits. He’s also the most powerful man I know, and as long as he was with me in my world, nothing ever happened to me. My troubles started when he had to leave to deal with his own problems."

Mykael ran a hand through his hair and said to him, "If you could just make him understand that you guessed it yourself: Elias, your master, is indeed the God of War, and he himself wants to reveal to you the truth about who he is. He cares very much for you, you know. He just learned the truth about what happened to you, and believe me, as soon as he finds Cassandra, she will suffer like no one before her."

Kevin smiled and asked him, "Will you be able to take me with you the next time you go to see him?"

Mykael nodded and told him, "I’ll take you if you want, but don’t worry; as soon as he has some time, he’ll come to see you."

Axel then asked his father, still staring at the man who was his grandfather, "How is he? Is he out of danger?"

Mykael then said, putting a hand on his shoulder, "He received the best possible care; no one could have done better. The only problem is that he was tortured for a very long time, so even if his body is healed, it is possible that he has serious mental aftereffects. We will know more when he wakes up."

Kevin frowned and said to him, "Stay with us tonight; we don’t know what this man is capable of, and even though we know he’s Axel’s grandfather, this man has no idea who we are and he may be aggressive."

He had said this while looking at Willow, who was still sleeping on her blanket, and Mykael simply nodded and told them, "Now I know why your mother was having problems. If her father was the supreme alpha and protector of their pack, that means he was their greatest warrior. A supreme alpha is twice as strong as any alpha in the pack, and there is always only one at a time. As long as your grandfather is alive, there won’t be another one to appear to protect the pack."

Axel clenched his fists and said to his father, "So that means my mother and her pack may still be in danger... All because of that Cassandra... Not only did she go after Kevin, killed him, and then tried to control him with that mind necklace, but by capturing my grandfather and keeping him alive to torture him, she prevented the birth of a new supreme alpha who could have protected my mother’s pack."

Kevin took his hand, intertwined his fingers with his, and then said to Mykael, "I think I have an idea of what Connor’s role in this war might be, but for Axel’s grandfather, even though he’s powerful, it’s true, he’s just one man, and even if their pack were to join us in the battle against the Titans, there probably aren’t enough werewolves in that pack to make a difference."

Mykael then asked him, curious, "What is Connor’s role to you? Ian will be the new leader of the demons; there is no doubt about it, so why Connor?"

Kevin smirked and said to him, "For the Acrium... That’s all I can think of; he must know something about the location of the Acrium."

Axel and Mykael’s eyes widened, and before they could ask Kevin any more questions, the man on the couch started to move, and Axel, who was closest to him, approached him and said, trying to reassure him, "You are safe here; you are not in this prison anymore..."

But he could not finish his sentence because he was seized violently by the throat, and he immediately raised his hand to let Kevin and Mykael know not to intervene.

A golden glow had already appeared in Kevin’s pupils, but Mykael put his hand on his shoulder and said to him, "Calm down; Axel is not in danger, and remember that you are supposed to protect this man and not kill him... Try not to forget that he is his grandfather."

Kevin’s eyes returned to their usual green color, and Axel activated his mother’s bloodline because he was sure that his grandfather would recognize it.

A silver circle immediately appeared around his pupils, and he felt the pressure on his throat diminish until his grandfather withdrew his hand. But just as Axel thought it was over and he could talk to him, his grandfather grabbed the collar of his shirt and ripped it off in one go, looking more precisely at his right shoulder.

Mykael then intervened and said to him, while releasing a little of his powerful aura to attract his attention, "Axel didn’t grow up in your pack, but he is indeed the son of Gwendolyn. Besides, she must have thought that you were dead; otherwise, why would she have given your name to our son?"

Axel then said to his grandfather, "Listen, we can explain everything to you, but it will take time, and even if my father can take you home..."

He looked at his father for confirmation, and when he saw him nod, he continued, "Even if he can take you home, I think it would be better if you knew what’s going on first."

Axel’s grandfather ran a hand through his hair and said to them, looking more specifically at Mykael, "No, I don’t have time for that. My priority is to return to my pack; I want to know if they are okay."

Kevin then said to him, "If you don’t know who your enemies are, how are you going to protect them?"
