Chapter 271: *Is it done ?*

He nodded and told him honestly, "I can take it off, but it’s going to be very painful... That will teach you a lesson to trust these bitches."

Mykael had just enough time to ask, "Wait! How painful..." But Elias didn’t answer him, and he started right away to make his way to this seal, and to do so, he had to use the golden flames of his aura, which were the only flames powerful enough to dissolve the aura of a God.

To reach this seal, he had to create an opening through the defense barrier that a God’s aura automatically created around their body, and the more powerful the God, the stronger the aura was.

Therefore, it was even more painful to dissolve it to create a small opening in it. Mykael had paled from this unbearable pain; it had been a long time since he had felt such pain, and the worst part was that Elias kept reminding him not to move, and he seemed almost annoyed by his behavior.

Fuck, he would have loved to see him stay still as the pain he felt was like an acid burn eating away at his organs, and he kept adding more flames to enlarge the hole he felt in his chest.

But Mykael was wrong; Elias wasn’t annoyed that he was complaining about the pain. No, he was annoyed because Mykael had become really powerful over time, and dissolving his aura was taking much longer than he had expected. He even thought it was a miracle that he was still standing still.

Anyone else would have collapsed by now, probably showering him with insults in the process, but Mykael remained practically stoic, and only the pallor of his face and his clenched teeth showed him how much he was suffering.

When his golden flames managed to break through his natural protective barrier, he aimed them directly at the seal, and they devoured it until nothing was left. Then he quickly withdrew them so Mykael could heal as soon as possible.

When he pulled out his golden flames, Mykael asked him in a weak voice that he had never heard from him before, "Is it done?"

Elias just nodded, and Mykael smiled before collapsing in his arms. Crap, he thought immediately; he didn’t really have time to take care of him now. He had already left his men while he was briefing them on the growing threat of the Titans.

He then looked at the Titan who was still unconscious on the floor and who, anyway, could never escape from here, unless of course he allowed it, which wouldn’t happen. So he decided to entrust Mykael to his only mage and quickly get back to his men before they started arguing with each other and decided to fight because they were bored.

Luckily, Colin was one of Mykael’s men he had trained, so it was easy for him to spot his aura, and so he teleported them straight to where he felt his aura.

Oddly enough, he found himself in front of a door that had Mykael’s protective seal on it. He looked at Mykael, who was barely conscious, and asked him, "Why did you seal Colin’s room? This kid is more than capable of defending himself."

Mykael chuckled despite feeling so weak and painfully told him, "Not to protect Colin... But to... Protect my men... From his ice picks."

Elias smirked as he suddenly remembered that this kid had really good reflexes and it was hard to catch him off guard. He was someone who preferred to first use his ice picks for self-defense, then heal the wounds he had inflicted if they turned out to be his friends and not his enemies.

He then said to him, "Remove that seal; it’s completely useless. None of your men would be stupid enough to try to disturb him when he’s resting."

Mykael, who didn’t have the strength to argue with Elias that it was Colin who asked him to seal his door because he was afraid of hurting someone, took his seal off.

When Elias pushed the door a little too hard and it banged against the wall, they were greeted by a shower of needles, which were actually tiny ice picks and which was Colin’s second specialty.

Of course, Elias had planned it beforehand that Colin would react like this, so all those needles collided with his force field and they were immediately dissipated.

When Colin realized who had entered his room, he said in a slightly panicked voice, "Damn, Master, I’m sorry, I didn’t know it was you."

He immediately got out of his bed and went to take Mykael, who looked like he was about to lose consciousness. He asked hastily Elias, worried, "Master, what happened to him?"

Elias, who still had many things to deal with, just told him, "I destroyed the seal that was blocking his powers in the world where our sons are. But to do so, I had to create an opening in the barrier that his aura had formed around his body."

He added before leaving, "You are his only mage, so take care of him and get him back on his feet quickly so he can go back and protect our boys."

Colin couldn’t believe what he had just heard... Elias had destroyed the seal that was blocking Mykael’s powers.

But according to his knowledge, this seal had to be connected to Mykael’s reserve of chakra, so that meant that not only had Elias pierced the aura that was protecting Mykael’s body and that was somehow the very essence of a God, but he had also probably damaged his reserve of chakra by destroying the seal as they were both connected to each other.

Colin swore, and he felt that Mykael was having trouble standing even with his help, so he quickly laid him on the bed and took one of the remedies that had been left on his nightstand. Seeing that he was losing consciousness, he quickly held the back of his head to help him drink it, "Mykael, hey, stay with me... Fuck, look at me; I need you to drink this first, and then I will give you the potion to help you heal your wounds."

Mykael let Colin take care of him as he began to have black spots that clouded his vision, and his ears were ringing louder and louder.

He didn’t know what Colin was giving him, but he had complete confidence in him, and after only a few minutes, he could already feel the difference. As the intense pain started to fade, he finally relaxed.
