Leon walked calmly down the palace hallway. Beside him, Elina—dressed in a white gown adorned with green patterns—strode along with a cheerful expression.

"What's with you, Elina? Why do you look so happy?" Leon asked, his tone curious.

"Hehehe..." Elina giggled, turning to face him. "It's nothing special, young master. I've just been receiving a lot of money from my sister lately."

"Oh?" Leon raised an eyebrow slightly. "How much? And why is your sister suddenly giving you money?"

He still clearly remembered that the currency of the Elven race was different from that of humans and demons.

While humans and demons used gold, silver, and bronze coins, the elves had their own unique currency: a special green mineral called Tarus.

Tarus, in its raw form, resembled crystal. It was then carved into small coins about two centimeters in diameter.

The mineral was incredibly rare—Leon had never seen one in person throughout his life.

Still, he was certain it must be highly valuable if traded in the outside world.

"She gave me a thousand Tarus coins!" Elina beamed, puffing out her chest with pride.

"A thousand Tarus coins?" Leon blinked in surprise. "Is that considered a lot? And if you converted it into gold coins, how much would that be?"

Since Tarus coins were used exclusively by the Elven race, Leon had no idea how their value compared to bronze, silver, or gold coins.

"It's worth around ten thousand gold coins!" Elina replied excitedly.

"Wow! Congratulations!" Leon chuckled and gently patted her head.

"Hehehe..." Her smile grew even wider, and her body wriggled happily under his touch.

"So, why did your sister give you so much money? Did you tell her about your situation?" Leon asked playfully.

Elina's expression froze, and she stared at him in disbelief.

"How did you know?"

Leon rolled his eyes. "Isn't it obvious? There's no way Zelda would suddenly give you that much money unless you told her how much you've been struggling here in the human territory."

"Ehehehe..." Elina looked embarrassed and scratched the side of her cheek.

What Leon said was true—she had confided in her sister about her hardships, and as a result, her sister had sent her a large amount of money.

After all, Elina was an Elf Princess of noble and prestigious status.

Of course her sister had been furious upon hearing what she'd been through.

However, there was a price. As punishment, Elina was forbidden from leaving Elven territory ever again. That part, she found upsetting and hard to accept.

For someone who loved adventure, the outside world was paradise—where she truly felt she belonged.

Even though she had gone through hardships, she had still enjoyed her time and felt genuinely happy.

Moreover, Leon had once given her a hundred gold coins—an incredible amount.

Even wealthy merchants in major cities didn't necessarily carry that much gold on hand, unlike her.

With that much money, she could easily live a safe and comfortable life once she left this place.

The two of them continued walking until they unknowingly arrived at the throne room.

There, Zelda sat gracefully and composed on the throne—a striking contrast to her shy demeanor the night before.

The moment her eyes met Leon's, a faint blush bloomed on her cheeks. But she quickly regained her composure and maintained a calm expression.

Standing beside her were three elderly elves, their wrinkled faces remarkably similar. Leon couldn't tell them apart at all.

Thankfully, their hairstyles were different.

The one on the right had her hair tied up in a neat bun. The middle one wore hers in a long braid that flowed down her back.

The last had shoulder-length hair, with small braids on each side of her head.

They radiated a quiet grace, but Leon could sense the terrifying presence hidden beneath their calm exteriors.

It felt as if he were staring at three beasts disguised as harmless animals, waiting to pounce on unsuspecting prey.

"Leon, Elina, don't just stand there. Come here," Zelda said gently.

Leon and Elina gave small nods and walked forward.

The moment Elina saw the three old women, her eyes widened—and she suddenly dashed toward them.

"Grandma Vaelira! Grandma Nymiel! Grandma Naeriel!" Elina exclaimed.

She threw her arms around the short-haired old woman and hugged her tightly.

The woman—Nymiel—smiled warmly and returned the hug, gently patting Elina's head.

"You naughty girl! Do you have any idea how worried my sisters and I were when we heard you suddenly left for the outside world?" She scolded, her tone filled with concern.

The braid-haired woman beside her, Vaelira, gave a small nod, her expression displeased.

"Nymiel's right, Elina. You've kept the three of us anxious for an entire year. If you don't give us a good explanation, we'll have no choice but to punish you!"

The last woman, Naeriel, simply smiled softly and said soothingly, "Now, now, you two. Don't be too hard on her. She's still just a hundred-year-old girl—it's only natural she still acts a bit childish."

Nymiel sighed and shot a mildly annoyed glance at Naeriel. "You're always spoiling her, Naeriel."

"Hehehe..." Elina smiled awkwardly, then slowly let go of Nymiel and bowed her head.

"I'm sorry, Grandmothers. It was my mistake, and I promise I won't do it again."

"See? She's already apologized. There's no need to drag this out," Naeriel said proudly while gently stroking Elina's head.

Nymiel and Vaelira exchanged glances and sighed in resignation.

"Alright, we forgive you. But don't do it again, understood?" Vaelira warned sternly.

"Of course, Grandmother! I promise I won't do it again," Elina replied, patting her big chest with a reassuring grin.

"Good!" Vaelira smiled in satisfaction and gave her cheeks an affectionate pinch.

Meanwhile, Leon, who had been quietly observing, offered a small smile.

"They seem to have a very close bond," he whispered to himself with a slight nod.

At first, he had assumed the Elven elders would be stern and prideful.

But seeing them now, he could sense their warmth and kindness. It was clear from the way they treated Elina—with genuine affection and care.

"So, you're the Fated One Her Majesty spoke of?"

Nymiel's calm voice pulled Leon from his thoughts.

He turned to find her studying him closely, her gaze sharp yet filled with interest.

Leon returned her look with a composed smile—neither arrogant nor overly humble.

"Yes, I am the Fated One. My name is Leon Kruger, Lady Nymiel," he said calmly.

Nymiel smiled, clearly pleased by his demeanor. She glanced at Vaelira and Naeriel, and the three of them exchanged a silent agreement with a nod.

Then, in perfect unison, they placed their right hands over their stomachs and bowed their heads respectfully.

"We welcome your arrival, Fated One."
