Chapter 87: Continuously Killing monsters

He lifted his hand and pointed casually toward the sky.

"Next target."

A moment later Rafael transmitted the coordinates.

[Target locked.]

[Planetary level monster located 214 kilometers east.]

Without hesitation Alex bent his knees slightly.

Then he jumped.

BOOM.

The ground beneath his feet exploded as the battlesuit converted Star Realm energy directly into propulsion force. Alex shot into the sky like a missile, breaking through the clouds in less than two seconds.

Wind screamed across the surface of his armor as he accelerated.

The suit’s systems immediately compensated for atmospheric friction.

Alex crossed hundreds of kilometers within moments.

Soon a vast mountain range appeared beneath him.

Rafael spoke again.

[Target detected.]

Alex looked down.

Deep inside the mountains a massive creature moved through a dense forest. From above it resembled an enormous serpent coiled between the ridges.

Its body stretched for more than three hundred meters.

Dark scales reflected faint green light beneath the sun. Two enormous horns curved backward from its skull while its body crushed trees with every movement.

Alex slowed his descent.

"Poison attribute," he murmured.

The serpent lifted its head slightly.

Its instincts had already sensed the powerful energy approaching from above.

A pair of cold vertical pupils locked onto the sky.

Alex hovered silently several hundred meters in the air.

The monster opened its mouth.

HISSSSS.

A terrifying scream echoed across the mountain valley as thick green poison mist erupted from the serpent’s fangs.

The toxic cloud spread outward rapidly, dissolving everything it touched. Entire sections of forest withered instantly as the corrosive gas consumed leaves, bark, and soil.

Alex observed the attack calmly.

Then he descended.

BOOM.

His body crashed directly through the poisonous mist.

The battlesuit automatically activated its defense layer. A thin energy field surrounded the armor and neutralized the corrosive toxin before it could reach the surface.

Alex moved through the cloud like a falling meteor.

The serpent’s massive head rose rapidly.

It struck.

Its gigantic jaws snapped toward Alex with frightening speed.

Alex did not dodge.

Instead he simply grabbed the monster.

His armored hand closed around one of the enormous fangs.

CRACK.

The tooth shattered instantly.

The serpent’s attack stopped mid motion as pain exploded through its skull.

Alex twisted his body and pulled.

The force generated by the Star Realm battlesuit was terrifying. The serpent’s head was violently dragged sideways and slammed into the mountain slope.

BOOM.

Rock shattered across the valley.

The creature shrieked in agony as its skull crashed through several layers of stone.

However the monster was not weak.

Its enormous tail suddenly whipped upward like a giant whip.

The thick scaled tail slammed into Alex with tremendous force.

BOOM.

The impact sent Alex flying several hundred meters across the valley. His armored body crashed through a cliff wall and disappeared into the rock.

For a moment the mountain became silent.

Then the stone exploded.

Alex walked out of the shattered cliff slowly.

He rolled his shoulder once.

"Good strength," he said calmly.

The serpent screamed again.

This time its entire body began glowing faintly green.

Poison energy gathered rapidly inside its mouth.

Alex immediately recognized the preparation for a large scale attack.

"Interesting."

He vanished.

The serpent released its attack.

A massive beam of toxic energy shot across the valley, dissolving mountains, forests, and stone as it moved forward like a wave of liquid acid.

However Alex had already appeared above the monster.

He raised his fist.

Then he punched downward.

BOOM.

The force of the strike traveled through the serpent’s skull like a nuclear shockwave.

The ground beneath the monster collapsed instantly.

A crater hundreds of meters wide formed around the impact point as the gigantic creature was smashed directly into the earth.

The serpent’s body convulsed violently.

Then it stopped moving.

[Ding!]

[You have gained 120,000 Life Essence.]

Alex landed beside the crater and looked down at the destroyed monster.

Rafael spoke.

[Synchronization rate: 0.9 percent.]

Alex nodded.

"Better."

He activated his spatial ability again.

"Next."

For the next several hours Alex moved across the planet like a silent executioner.

Mountain ranges.

Frozen tundra.

Burning deserts.

Every region of the world contained evolved monsters that had grown to terrifying sizes during the past five hundred years.

And Alex wanted to hunt them all. 𝗳𝚛𝗲𝕖𝚠𝚎𝚋𝗻𝗼𝕧𝗲𝐥.𝚌𝚘𝐦

His third target was a massive volcanic beast that resembled a walking mountain of molten rock.

Lava flowed through cracks across its body like glowing rivers.

When Alex approached, the creature erupted with explosive fury. Entire waves of magma shot toward him as the monster tried to incinerate the intruder.

Alex flew directly through the molten storm.

The battlesuit absorbed the extreme heat easily.

Then he drove both fists into the monster’s chest.

The volcanic creature shattered like brittle glass as its internal energy core collapsed.

His fourth battle occurred inside a frozen polar ocean.

A gigantic ice leviathan burst from beneath the sea and attempted to swallow him whole.

The creature’s jaws were large enough to crush a battleship.

Alex caught the upper jaw with both hands.

For several seconds the two forces struggled.

Then Alex slowly forced the jaws apart.

With a sharp motion he tore the monster’s skull in half.

The frozen sea turned red as the body collapsed beneath the ice.

Hours passed.

Every battle increased the synchronization rate.

3 percent.

7 percent.

12 percent.

The battlesuit continued analyzing Alex’s combat patterns and biological structure. Its internal systems gradually adapted to his fighting style.

The power output became smoother.

The energy flow through the armor felt increasingly natural.

Eventually Alex reached another Planetary monster.

This one stood inside a massive canyon.

It was a giant humanoid beast covered in dark crystal armor. Each step it took caused the canyon walls to tremble.

Unlike the previous monsters, this creature possessed a much higher level of intelligence.

When Alex arrived, the monster immediately raised its arms.

Crystalline spikes erupted from the canyon floor like a forest of spears.

Alex moved through them effortlessly.

He twisted his body mid air, avoiding several spikes before landing directly in front of the giant.

The creature roared.

Its crystal fists swung downward.

Alex met the attack head on.

BOOM.

The collision shook the entire canyon.

For the first time since activating the battlesuit, Alex felt genuine resistance.

The monster’s strength was extraordinary.

It continued attacking relentlessly.

Crystal spikes, shockwaves, and massive punches filled the battlefield as the giant attempted to crush the human intruder.

Alex smiled slightly.

Finally something interesting.

He accelerated.

The black battlesuit glowed faintly as the energy core released another surge of power.

Alex vanished.

The giant monster barely managed to track his movement.

Alex appeared behind it.

Then above it.

Then directly in front again.

His fists struck the crystal armor repeatedly with explosive force.

Each impact created cracks across the monster’s body.

The giant roared in fury.

It grabbed an entire section of canyon wall and hurled it like a weapon.

Alex shattered the stone with a single kick.

Then he rushed forward again.

This time his fist pierced directly through the monster’s chest.

CRACK.

The crystal armor broke apart.

The giant’s energy core shattered.

Its enormous body collapsed slowly to the ground.

[Ding!]

[Life Essence: 0/2M]

Alex withdrew his fist.

The canyon slowly became quiet again.

Rafael reported the new data.

[Synchronization rate: 23 percent.]

Alex exhaled slowly.

Even after dozens of battles, the suit had only reached twenty three percent compatibility.

However he could already feel the difference.

The armor now moved as if it were alive.

The connection between his nervous system and the battlesuit had become significantly deeper.

Alex lifted his head and looked toward the distant sky.

"Remaining Planetary monsters?"

[82.]

[The suit can only be maintained for 30 seconds more. You should return to the ruin and let it charge]

He nodded.

"We will finish them tommorrow."

So he returned to the ruin that night and let the suit return to it’s chamber for charging.

It was very fun to bully the weak, at least compared to him.

The next day, Alex continued his hunt.

Some monsters required several seconds to defeat.

Others managed to fight for minutes just gather more combat experiences.

A gigantic thunder bird covered the sky with lightning storms.

Alex chased it through the clouds before tearing off its wings.

A massive sand titan rose from the desert and attempted to bury him beneath mountains of sand.

Alex split its body apart with a series of shockwave punches.

One creature nearly escaped.

It was a shadow beast capable of phasing through space.

However Alex predicted its movement pattern and crushed it the moment it rematerialized.

The battles continued.

One by one the Planetary monsters disappeared from the map.

Hours later Alex stood on top of a ruined mountain peak.

The sky above him had already turned dark.

Stars shimmered faintly across the night horizon.

Rafael’s voice appeared again.
