My husband Can Cultivate-Chapter 184 Yang Qi, Are You Crazy?
"You try it!" The Wolf King looked coldly at the burly young man, his killing intent boiling over. No one could humiliate Yang Qi. Absolutely no one. Not even Huang Borren’s own nephew.
"Heh, you’ve got some nerve. Do you even know who I am, talking to me like that?" the burly young man said, patting his chest. "Listen up. My name is A-Qiang, and my uncle is Huang Borren."
"So, you’re Huang Borren’s nephew." Yang Qi waved his hand. "Forget it."
If he hadn’t, the Wolf King would have really gone over and crippled the guy. Yang Qi was giving Huang Borren some face, considering the man worked for him.
"Well, well, Yang Qi. You’re out here enjoying the show? Aren’t you afraid another woman is going to steal your wife away?" Yin Die laughed. "After all, you’re the type of man who only knows how to make money, completely clueless about romance. You have no idea how happy Qiutong is when she hangs out with me!"
Yang Qi clenched his fists, anger flaring. She’s really touching a raw nerve.
"I have absolutely no relationship with that bitch Li Qiutong anymore," Yang Qi said coldly. "She can do whatever she wants. What does it have to do with me?"
"No way, you got divorced? Hmm, impossible, impossible! As spineless as you are, there’s no way you’d divorce her."
Yin Die simply didn’t believe Yang Qi was divorced. In her memory, the old Yang Qi had been truly in love with Li Qiutong, like a complete fool. He believed whatever she said. How could a man like that possibly get a divorce? But she didn’t know that everyone has a bottom line. An honest man isn’t a doormat; he just wants to avoid trouble. But every honest man has a Buddha in his heart, and if you push him too far, that Buddha can become a demon.
"What I’m like is none of your business," Yang Qi sneered. "Just remember to pay back your debt. Did you think you could just keep my money because there was no IOU? I advise you to return the money now. Otherwise, I’ll make you answer for everything from the past!"
"Oh, I’m so scared!" Yin Die laughed triumphantly. "Brother Qiang, he’s threatening me."
"If you were the Yang Qi from the competition, I’d respect you," A-Qiang said sarcastically. "Unfortunately, you’re not. But it’s a good thing you aren’t. Being meek will at least keep you alive. That other Yang Qi will probably be dead soon!"
"Brother Qiang, are the Five Independents really that strong?" Yin Die asked, her interest suddenly piqued.
"Of course. Later, every level will have recording equipment, and there will be a big screen outside where we can watch," A-Qiang laughed.
"Brother Qiang, you know so much," Yin Die said, clinging to A-Qiang’s arm in a nauseatingly sweet way.
"Naturally. I used to run errands for Young Master Liang," A-Qiang declared, brimming with pride. In reality, he had only ever been a deliveryman who brought a few packages to Liang Changshan.
"Brother Qiang, you’re so amazing! How did I get such an outstanding boyfriend? Compared to a certain someone, you’re far superior. Brother Qiang, let’s go inside and watch. There’s no big screen out here, and we can’t see clearly from so far away," Yin Die said excitedly.
"Yeah, Brother Qiang, help us out, since you’re on such good terms with Young Master Liang," the others chimed in.
A-Qiang was visibly embarrassed. He was indeed Huang Borren’s nephew, but he really didn’t have much of a connection to Liang Changshan. But I can’t lose face.
He still nodded and said, "Don’t worry. When I see Young Master Liang, I’ll put in a word for you. It’ll be easy!"
"Awesome!" 𝒻𝑟𝘦𝘦𝘸ℯ𝒷𝑛𝘰𝓋ℯ𝘭.𝘤𝘰𝘮
"Hooray!"
The crowd cheered, but none of it had anything to do with Yang Qi. He was already immersed in a state of communion with the Five Element Spiritual Energy. If another Cultivator were present, they would have seen the Five-Colored Energy constantly interacting with his own Spiritual Energy.
"By the way, Brother Qiang, do you think that Yang Qi can win?" Bored and seeing that Yang Qi was ignoring her, Yin Die started chatting with A-Qiang.
"Of course not!" A-Qiang shook his head. "Although there are rumors that this Yang Qi has ties to Lin Qingxuan of the Jingzhou Lin Family, it was just a chance encounter with a rich young lady. He devoted himself to martial arts just to see her again. Unfortunately for him, he doesn’t realize it’s all for nothing. The terrifying power of Jingzhou’s great families is something he could never comprehend.
"My uncle, Huang Borren, seems to be working for this Yang Qi, but even he isn’t confident. The Five Independents are too terrifying. They’ve been unrivaled in Kang City for years. Unless some hidden masters make a move, no one is a match for them."
"Didn’t you try to persuade that Yang Qi?" Yin Die asked.
"Of course I did. My uncle and I went to his house for dinner. We’re about the same age, so we call each other brothers. I advised him earnestly for a whole day and night. Who knew the kid would be so stubborn and insist on coming. Ah, he’s such a handful!" A-Qiang said, tilting his head to look at the sky at a forty-five-degree angle with a melancholic expression.
Yin Die gazed at him, her eyes practically sparkling with hearts.
"Brother Qiang, you’re truly amazing! I can’t believe you even know *that* Yang Qi. If he doesn’t die today, you have to introduce us!" everyone clamored.
Yang Qi remained silent, but the Wolf King couldn’t listen anymore. He glared at A-Qiang and said, "You don’t even plan out your boasts, do you? My boss has never met you!"
"Your boss?" A-Qiang asked, startled.
"My boss is Yang Qi!" the Wolf King stated proudly.
"Hahahaha! You must be talking about *this* Yang Qi!" A-Qiang laughed heartily. "You’ve got it wrong. The Yang Qi I know is someone else. He’s skilled in martial arts, but he’s very respectful to me. Always calls me ’Brother Qiang’."
"Exactly! What an idiot!" Yin Die chimed in sarcastically. "Why would my Brother Qiang know a loser like this Yang Qi? If he knows a Yang Qi, it’s the one challenging the Five Independents!"
"That’s right!" A-Qiang glanced disdainfully at Yang Qi. "I associate with important people. I don’t have time for small fries like you!"
"Ridiculous," the Wolf King said, shaking his head. "Aside from bragging, I don’t see any real ability in you."
"You’re courting death!" A-Qiang bellowed. "I’ve been putting up with you for long enough."
"Then don’t hold back. Come on, I’ll spar with you," the Wolf King said with a smile. If A-Qiang attacks first, then Huang Borren can’t blame me.
"You asked for it!" A-Qiang was genuinely furious. But Yin Die stopped him. "Brother Qiang, this isn’t the place for a fight. Besides, this Yang Qi is a businessman. You’ll be in trouble if you hit him."
"But I can’t just swallow this insult!" A-Qiang roared.
"Yang Qi, have your friend apologize to Brother Qiang right now," Yin Die commanded. "On his knees."
"You want my brother on his knees?" Yang Qi said coldly. "Do you think even Huang Borren would dare to ask for that? Let alone a worthless punk like him!"
"Yang Qi, have you lost your mind? Feeling bold, are you?" Yin Die was shocked. She hadn’t expected Yang Qi to have such a temper now.
"Good, very good. If I don’t teach you a lesson today, my name isn’t A-Qiang!" A-Qiang roared and lunged at Yang Qi.
"Hold back a little. Don’t cripple him," Yang Qi said nonchalantly.
Receiving his orders, the Wolf King slapped out with his palm. The charging A-Qiang was sent sprawling to the ground by the slap, left completely stunned.
