Finishing her words, Gu Qingqing took out two bottles from her storage space and handed them to Si Lin and Yue Zhao.

Gu Qingqing and Jun Wu arrived in Shuiyou City just in the afternoon, as the setting sun beautifully reflected off the water, turning it a vivid red, creating a breathtaking view.

A dock stood outside the city. Unaccustomed to sharing boats, they rented an entire boat to sail into the city.

As dusk set in, some parts of the city had lanterns lit, with buildings covered in blossoms of different colors—pink, white, red, yellow—intertwined with vines, making the city fill with a light floral scent.

"These are our Shuiyou City’s unique Water Vine Flowers, they smell wonderful, are incredibly hardy, perfect for growing in water, and look stunning although their grade isn’t high, only up to an Immortal Rank one. Our Shuiyou City locals adore them," the boatman explained, noticing Gu Qingqing’s fascination with the blooms on the walls.

Gu Qingqing was not familiar with the flower, understanding after learning it’s unique to Shuiyou City. She felt the city’s architecture was splendid and with these beautiful blossoms enhancing the ambiance, it was truly calming.

"Being here feels so comfortable, as if all worldly troubles are away, my mind feels much calmer," Gu Qingqing said, looping arms with Jun Wu, visibly relaxed and smiling, "I love it here."

"If you like it, we can stay a few more days. With nearly a month til the wedding, we have plenty of time," Jun Wu was eager to let her linger longer in a place she liked.

In fact, Jun Wu also found Shuiyou City enjoyable and relaxing.

"Yes, let’s stay longer." Gu Qingqing had just that thought and readily agreed, resting her head on Jun Wu’s shoulder.

Guided by the boatman, they found a lovely inn.
