My Favorite Game Followed Me!-Chapter 751
Chapter 751
Anton spent the morning the next day leveling up his Diablo II Druid ladder character for three hours and his Diablo Immortal Wizard character for an hour. In the current ladder season, he had already reached the maximum level for two of the characters, which were the Sorceress and the Necromancer, so he was in his Druid, which had already reached level sixty-seven. He still had not decided which item he should take out of the game and into the real world when he reached the maximum level for his Necromancer. He was saving it for an emergency, thinking he could take out a specific runeword item relevant to a specific situation.
The Paragon Level of his Diablo Immortal Wizard character had reached level 250. Anton had to admit he was taking his time learning the new game, since he was still focused on his Diablo II ladder characters. He would focus on Diablo Immortal once the ladder season ends. In the meantime, he was just doing his daily quests in the new game.
An hour before lunch, Anton felt tired playing the game, so he decided to relax by watching some videos on the most famous video streaming website. While scrolling through short videos, he was extremely surprised when the developers of Diablo suddenly announced a new character for Diablo II. He never expected that the developers would create a major update for Diablo II since it was an old game and they had just recently released Diablo II Resurrection, which was a massive update in Anton’s opinion, but suddenly they released a brand new character called Warlock and several more items and game features.
Anton was flabbergasted when the developers mentioned that the new character would be released immediately and not in the future. After watching the video, he saw the red notification mail from his system. He thought that it was related to the new update, and when he opened it, he was correct. His Diablo system also received the update.
Basically, his Diablo system was also updated and added everything that came with the new update on Earth. What this meant was that his power would receive an increase and he would have access to brand new skills. He was about to check out in detail the brand new Warlock character when Enoril arrived, inviting him for lunch and to hang out with the other young elves.
Even though Anton was extremely excited about the new update, he decided to join Enoril and the others. It would not be long before he left the forest elves’ kingdom. He also knew that the young elves were a little sad that they could not watch movies every night, even though Anton was still there.
While they were eating, Enoril told him the main reason why the higher-ups decided to limit movie watching was that some important businesses of the elves were being affected. After lunch, he hung out with the other for just a couple of hours, but soon, he told everyone he needed to practice his magic privately since he was getting rusty, so they let him go.
In the guest house assigned to him, Anton was about to continue reviewing in detail the new Warlock character when he heard knocking on his door. He felt a little exasperated and thought that he might need to hang out a sign on his door that he was busy with his magic and would not be available for a few hours.
When Anton opened the door, he was surprised to see that it was the old elf wizard Remonulus. He invited the wizard inside and offered the old elf something to drink, which Remonulus declined.
“I’m here to ask for the next two movies of the new Star Wars films. We still can’t decide if we want to add the new franchise to the trade.”
Anton was surprised. He loved the Star Wars films and thought them to be one of the greatest movie franchises ever made. He had to admit that it was an older franchise, and there were some scenes that some would consider a little boring. He just shrugged and gave Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi and Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace. He already advised the old elven wizard of the peculiarity of the watch order of the Star Wars films. He watched it the same way, which was Episodes IV to VI first, then Episodes I to III, then finally Episodes VII to IX.
After the old elf had left, he posted a note that Anton would not be available until seven in the evening. Finally, he would have the time to review the new Diablo II character.
After an hour of reading about the Warlock character, Anton had decided to follow the available guides on the internet regarding the fastest way to which he could level up the Warlock, and once he reached the character’s maximum level, he would focus the character as a demon summoner. Even though the Warlock’s magic and fire spells were powerful, he believed that the attack spells of his Sorceress were enough. He needed more support spells, and the warlock’s demons were it. He was also thinking of converting his Diablo Immortal Wizard to a Necromancer. Since he was not using the Wizard’s spells, he thought that focusing on the Necromancer’s summons would be a better fit, especially if the gears were focused on enhancing the skeleton summons. The fact that the skeleton summons were permanent and did not need a corpse to be summoned, like the skeleton summon of the Necromancer in Diablo II, would increase the number of summons that Anton could use in battle.
He would probably only use the Diablo Immortal Necromancer summons when fighting alone, like when he was delving a dungeon, since he did not want to answer questions regarding how he could summon the undead.
Anton immediately halted leveling up his Diablo II ladder Druid character and started an offline Warlock character, since only the offline character's power would be reflected in real life. The advantage of the ladder characters were the twenty percent stats that he could transfer to his real body and the items that he could transfer to the real world once he reached the maximum level of the ladder character unlike the offline character wherein all of the stats would be reflected and he could use all spells of the character as long as he put a single point on it.
By the time seven in the evening arrived, Anton managed to level up his Warlock character to level thirty. He was enjoying playing the new character, using mainly Ring of Fire, Flame Wave, and the Apocalypse spells. After that, he paused leveling up the character and exited his Diablo system. He was expecting Enoril to invite him to dinner. Without fail, Enoril arrived.
Anton and Enoril were joined by the other young forest elves, who were a little down that they could not watch the next movie in the Alien franchise. They ate at the tavern, but Anton could not help but sigh at the gloomy atmosphere.
“Hey, guys! Since I’m still here, we can still watch something. Let me introduce you all to the world of cartoons,” Anton told everyone.
Anton used one of the tavern’s walls as a screen and started showing the first and second episodes of Avatar: The Last Airbender. While all the folks in the tavern were watching the cartoon, he started leveling up his Warlock character using the screen option, wherein he played it as if he were in front of a computer instead of entering the world of Sanctuary as he normally did.
