Chapter 700

On the second day of delving into the first level of the Corridors of Amuneta Dungeon, Anton and Anders smiled at Anna’s enthusiasm. They could understand her excitement. Yesterday, they both could feel her frustration in using the Charge Bolt spell due to its zigzagging pattern. If party members' summons were affected by each member’s spells, the summons would have probably been full of complaints from receiving Charge Bolts to their faces.

Thankfully, not only party members and their summons would not be affected by the members’ spells, but the summons did not have personalities. If they did, Anton would have been averse to continuing to use them.

Anton found Anna’s build ridiculous. She had only added one point each to all available skills under the Lightning Spell Tree; the rest were added to the Telekinesis spell.

“I wanted to increase my Telekinesis power as soon as possible since it’s probably the only spell that I would be able to keep using while I’m in the academy. Besides, with the Insight Spear, I could cast the level one Nova and Lightning spells nonstop to kill enemies,” Anna said.

Besides, given that they could reset their skill points once a week, it was alright for Anna to experiment with her build.

When they encountered the first group that day, Anton and Anders did not do anything and allowed Anton’s summons to pin down all of the dungeon monsters. Anna then went into the middle of the group and started spamming the Nova spell.

The action was beautiful to look at, and after several castings, all of the dungeon monsters died. The father and son could see that Anna was truly jubilant in killing the monster using one of her spells from the Sorceress’s skill tree.

While they were walking to find the next set of enemies, Anna was already practicing flying using the Telekinesis spell. Apparently, eight levels in Telekinesis were already powerful enough for her to do so.

“Anna, remember that if you’re going to fly high, you need to make sure that you’re carrying a bunch of mana potions to make sure that you will have enough mana to land safely. Or you can carry the Insight Spear that I gave you,” Anton told his sister.

He had given Anna hundreds of minor mana potions since they actually never needed to use them. Since Anton had been transferring health and mana potions daily ever since the ability was given to Anton by his system, they managed to accumulate a lot of them. He switched to transferring the Town Portal Scroll ever since that update, but regardless, they had hundreds of potions.

“If I’m planning to fly for a long time, I would probably need to carry that spear. It’s just it’s so large and heavy,” Anna complained.

The Insight Spear was ridiculously large compared to her body, but no one could deny the effectiveness of the Meditation Aura skill that the spear had.

Right at that moment, Anders was carrying his at his back while Anna’s Insight Spear was being used by Kirk, Mesono, Abdul, and Omar.

When they encountered the next group of enemies, this time, Anna switched to using the Lightning Spell. It was fun to observe since she looked like one of the Sith Sorcerers from the Star Wars Universe.

While Anna was killing the dungeon monsters with the help of Anton’s summons, he was flabbergasted when Anders told him that it appeared like Luna had a crush on Kirk. When Anton thought about it further, it was understandable. Kirk was a tall, handsome, blonde, young man and had a good future due to the fact that he was a mage.

“What are you planning to do?” Anton asked his father.

“Right now, nothing. They’re both young, and there’s a chance that it’s a momentary crush. If it develops further and Kirk expresses his interest, I’ll give my blessing. It’s another way to tie the young man to the family,” Anders said, and Anton just shrugged.

Once all of the dungeon monsters were dead, Anna joined their gossip.

“Luna’s really interested in Kirk. I saw her writing his name on her notebook, and then she kept surrounding it with hearts,” Anna said, then laughed.

By the time the second day ended, they had completed the first floor of the dungeon, and Anna leveled up to level 16. She put all of the newly earned skill points into Telekinesis since more points to the spell meant that it would become more powerful. As a matter of fact, with that single spell alone, a wizard would be an effective spellcaster.

The three exited the dungeon and headed to the room in the hotel where the Town Portal that led to the manor was standing. No one was apprehensive about the portal, as only members of Anders’s party could use it.

Anders gave all of the things they acquired from the first floor to one of his vice-captains to be disposed of, then they entered the portal to go home.

The moment they arrived at the manor, they headed directly to the dining room to join the family for dinner.

While they were eating, Romina told Anders and Anton the timeline for the launch of the magazine and the opening of the Television Show cinema. After she had collected all of the episodes for Xena, Anton started giving her the episodes of the television series that she planned to show after Xena, which were Hercules: The Legendary Journeys and Star Trek: The Next Generation. Basically, she only opted for the series that the family had already seen while they were on the ship traveling to the Gale Continent.

Because of the update that allowed Anton to give up to 10 globes of browser sharing, collecting the episodes for the TV series became extremely fast. Romina had to spend an ungodly amount of coins to commission enchanters for a countless number of magic item recorders. Nevertheless, the family was becoming richer because of the businesses they had.

After dinner, the family gathered in one of the manor’s salons to talk about an important upcoming event, which was Anton’s birthday.

“I don’t want a party. I’m all partied out. Let’s just celebrate it with the family briefly. I need to return to my magic,” Anton said.

After that meeting, Anton went to his room, but instead of going back to leveling up a new ladder character or continuing to level up his wizard character in Diablo Immortal, he returned to binging The Big Bang Theory. He found himself shaking his head for not prioritizing what was important, but he found the TV series truly enjoyable.

The next day, Anton did not leave his room and concentrated on leveling up his newly created ladder Necromancer Character. He did it until noon arrived, then he stopped for a break. He ate lunch and cast the Blizzard spell, turned into Mana Rain towards the whole manor, then he watched a movie. After movie watching, he played his Wizard Character in Diablo Immortal for a couple of hours, then switched back to his Diablo II ladder Necromancer character.

By the time Anders and Anna asked him to join the family for dinner, Anton’s ladder Necromancer was level 48. He also transferred a Harlequinn Crest from the game to the real world to give to his father. He wanted to make sure that Anders was sufficiently powerful for any encounter.
