My Evil Boy Toy-Chapter 282: Benjamin’s End
Chapter 282: Benjamin’s End
Nina came into the stand and told everything she knows about Benjamin Miller. I was thankful that she volunteered as one of the witnesses against Benjamin.
Jayden also stood to tell his story to the world. I wasn’t comfortable with his decision, not because I was ashamed of his illness, but because I was worried. But he said he needed to tell everyone about his mother because he wanted to give her justice.
"My mother was raped and killed in front of me by Benjamin’s men. I was lucky to get out alive because my mom hid me in a closet, but seeing her being treated like an animal, I became sick. I have dissociative identity disorder because of that trauma. It might affect the credibility of my statement, but I want everyone to know that having a mental illness was not my fault. I was in a coma for a week and didn’t even get the chance to say goodbye to my mother. The last thing I could remember about her was her lifeless body on our dining table. They raped her again and again, slit her throat and shot her in the head."
My heart breaks hearing Jayden tell everyone about his mother. I knew it was painful for him, but he was there in the stand, looking at the people, reaching to them.
I looked around to see the people’s reaction. The silence was deafening, but I saw tears from everyone’s eyes. Even the judge shed a tear for the man who saw the murder of his mother at a young age.
I comforted Jayden when he sat back beside me. He smiled at me and I saw contentment on his face.
Some of the men from the Santelmo Clan, the Rossi’s and from the Trekker Clan gave their statements against Benjamin Miller. The evidence against him was overwhelming so the four richest families in the city doesn’t need to do anything.
We decided to let the law handle everything and we believed that Benjamin would be punished for his crimes.
He was accused of murder, rape, extortion, human and sex trafficking, illegal gambling, stealing someone’s identity, theft, and a lot more.
The Santelmo’s and the Rossi’s, like my father and the Forelli’s, had their trial in Flousia. Kyle pardoned some, but he needed to execute a lot to pacify his people.
I was also hoping that Benjamin would get what he deserved. He made mine and my family’s lives miserable. He played with us from the day he met my mother. He is a monster. A monster that should be annihilated in the face of the earth.
I decided to gave him a final visit. To tell him how I hated his very existence. I didn’t tell Jayden because I know he wouldn’t allow it.
"I know you will come see me. You just couldn’t let me go, Peggy." He smirked.
He was on the other side of the glass wall and seeing his face smirking made me furious. He had no remorse. I couldn’t sense any guilt from him. How could someone like him was given a chance to be born? The world is so unfair because Mireya didn’t get any.
"I didn’t come here to greet you. I wanted to see your face behind bars. How does it feel to be kept in a cage?"
He chuckled. "Well, I’m quite happy. I have everyone’s attention. I love the polularity, you know."
"You really are a monster. But you know what, I thank you for everything. You ruined my life, but I met my husband because of you. I have my father and my mother now. I have a complete family. But you? You have nothing. You have no one. I’ll make sure that you will never again hurt my family."
Then he laughed. "Do you really think that you are free now? Here’s an advice, my daughter. Kill me. Make sure that I am no longer breathing. Because as long as I am alive, your son will never be safe."
I glared at him and stomped my hands on the desk. I wanted to kill him so badly, but I couldn’t do anything.
"Touch my son and I promise I will hunt you down. I will kill you and tear you into pieces."
That was the last conversation I had with my foster father. I didn’t tell Jayden about Benjamin’s threat, or even to my friends. I know it was just a threat, and he can’t do anything to us anymore. ƒreewebɳovel.com
The trial didn’t last long. It lasts only for a month and the jury already had a decision.
Guilty on all charges. And he was sentenced to rot in hell forever. I wanted a death penalty, but our justice system do not support it.
Then I found out that he still needed to face the law as Jonathan Trekker. He would be moved to Germany to start his trial after a week. At first, there was a debate if he would be allowed to attend trial in his country.
He was already a citizen here as Benjamin Miller. But all of his documents were all fake. So he had to return to his country to get a proper sentence from there. I was anxious, but our lawyers made sure that he would be convicted.
I felt at ease when they told us that he would never be allowed to leave Germany and return to our country or even enter any other country. That was a relief.
When the day came that he would return to his country, Jayden and I watched him being escorted not only by the police, but also by Jayden’s men and by the royal guards of Flousia. Luke made sure that there would be no problems along the way. The security was strict and Andrew gave permission to use one of his planes for the transfer.
I cried when the plane carrying Benjamin took off.
Finally, I could say that this is already Benjamin’s end.
