My College Teacher is My Children's Mom-Chapter 719: The Second Female Lead Hits on Someone
In the afternoon, Little Bao’s exam results were out, so Lin Feng attended the parent-teacher meeting.
She scored 99 in Chinese, 97 in Math, and a perfect score in Foreign Language.
The handwriting on her test papers was quite good, a significant improvement from the last semester. Lin Feng was very satisfied.
"Mr. Lin, may I ask, are you enrolling your child in any winter vacation tutoring classes?" the parent of Little Bao’s deskmate inquired.
Lin Feng shook his head. "No, we don’t enroll our daughter in tutoring classes. Are you?"
Her deskmate had also scored quite well, with all marks above ninety-five and neat handwriting that was clearly the result of practice.
"Yes, for Math Olympiad, foreign language, and writing composition. Your daughter isn’t attending any? What about hobby classes?"
Lin Feng answered honestly, "Our daughter accepted a role in a TV drama for the winter vacation, so she has no time for tutoring. I don’t plan on enrolling her anyway."
"As for hobbies, she just has a taekwondo exam."
The other parent suddenly seemed to remember—he was talking to the richest man in the country. Tutoring classes were irrelevant for his child. Future life plans? His daughter was already set for life; she didn’t need to struggle.
After the parent-teacher meeting ended, the winter vacation officially began.
Little Bao had accepted a role in a modern family drama with a reliable production team and an engaging script.
They were leaving the next day, so that evening, Lin Feng began packing for the two of them.
With his spatial storage, one large and one small suitcase were more than enough.
After finishing their luggage, Lin Feng started packing for his wife, who was leaving on a business trip for half a month.
Back when she was a principal, she would only travel for business once every month or two. Now that she’d been promoted, it felt like she was always away on business. The shortest trips were two to three days, while the longest could last up to three months.
He felt sorry for his wife but could do nothing about it.
"Honey, I’m packing two down jackets for you, one black and one blue. Do you think that’s enough?"
"You decide, dear."
"I’ve also packed two pairs of thick, fleece-lined pants and three thermal undershirts. Is that enough, or should I add more?"
"Just pack whatever you think is best, dear. If I’m missing something, I’ll just buy it there."
"Alright then. I’ve got all your skincare and makeup, right? I’ll just put them in the suitcase."
"Ah, honey, could you double-check if you packed my anti-allergy lotion? I’m worried about my skin acting up over there."
After half an hour of bustling about, Zhang Yuxi emerged from her shower to find her husband had packed everything perfectly.
"Honey, do you want to switch purses? This one’s a bit dirty."
"Oh, good idea. Let’s use the larger one that can fit my laptop."
That night, Zhang Yuxi traced circles on Lin Feng’s chest. "Honey?"
After more than twenty years of marriage, he knew exactly what she meant.
Every time Zhang Yuxi went on a business trip, she would take meticulous care of her husband. As she put it, one reason was to reward him for all his hard work. The second was that a satisfied man doesn’t get wandering eyes.
Lin Feng grasped her hand and smiled. "Wait for me a moment."
Zhang Yuxi knew her husband had sacrificed so much for their family, while she, as his wife, felt she hadn’t been able to help much at all. All she could do was be considerate and obedient. Whatever games her husband wanted to play, she’d cast aside any embarrassment and play along to the very end! I wonder what he’ll bring out this time! *Facepalm!* I feel like I’m becoming so naughty! Hmph, it’s all my husband’s fault!

「The next day.」
The family of three was at the same airport, catching different flights.
Lin Feng gave Third Bao her instructions. "Take good care of yourself while you’re home alone. If you don’t feel like cooking, just order takeout or eat out."
"Make sure to turn off the water, gas, and electricity before you leave the house, and double-check the doors and windows! Call us if anything comes up."
Zhang Yuxi stood beside them, straightening her daughter’s hair, letting Lin Feng say everything that needed to be said.
Third Bao was exasperated. "I’m not a child. I know all of this."
Little Bao, who now reached Third Bao’s waist, tilted her head up. "But does Third Sister know she has to miss me?"
Third Bao gently tapped her nose. "Of course, I do. You have to miss me, too!"
Though she was a tall third-grader, Little Bao still loved acting cute with her older siblings. "I’ll bring you back some local specialties when I return, okay?"
Third Bao smiled. "Okay! But if you’re too busy, it’s no problem at all!"
After a reluctant farewell, the two sisters waved goodbye and parted ways.
Upon their arrival, members of the film crew, who had been waiting for some time, met them and took them to their hotel.
Since Little Bao was already a young lady, the crew had booked two rooms, with Lin Feng staying in the one next door. The hotel was quite decent—clean and tidy.
Lin Feng set down his luggage. "Isn’t this too much trouble? I’m just her guardian. I can pay for my own room."
The staff member was both flattered and flustered. She hadn’t expected the world’s richest man to be so down-to-earth. Initially, she had been worried the simple hotel would displease him, but he turned out to be incredibly easygoing.
He’s handsome, rich, and has a great personality!
The staff member’s face turned red against her will. She quickly waved her hands and stammered, "No, no, it’s fine! The director said the accommodations are a bit simple and hoped Mr. Lin wouldn’t mind."
"Um, you two can get settled. I’ll wait for you at the front desk."
With that, she hurried away, leaving the father and daughter bewildered.
"Dad, she was acting strange."
"Come on, let’s unpack first."
Lin Feng knew exactly why the young woman was blushing. He glanced at his reflection in the mirror. System, you’re amazing! I’m already past fifty, yet I look like I’m in my early thirties. I’ve even developed a more mature, masculine charm!
T-City was colder than Meicheng, and a light snow was falling outside.
Acting as if she’d never seen it before, Little Bao stretched out her hands to catch the snowflakes, yelling, "Dad, look! It’s snowing!"
When they arrived on set, a makeup artist and a costume designer immediately began fussing over Little Bao. Lin Feng took out Little Bao’s set of children’s cosmetics. The makeup artist was worldly and recognized them instantly.
Wow, these are all custom-made! As expected of the daughter of the richest man.
Lin Feng’s backpack contained not only the makeup bag but also a water bottle, a down jacket, hand warmers, a small portable heater, and more. Of course, it also included her homework.
The director and Lin Feng were old acquaintances, having worked together once before, back when Lin Feng was not yet the richest man.
"Mr. Lin, the hotel’s a bit modest this time. I hope you don’t mind," the director said.
"The hotel is great. It’s clean and tidy," Lin Feng replied. "But I’ll be paying for my own room. There’s no need for the production to cover it."
"Ah, well... alright. Since we’re old friends, I won’t stand on ceremony."
Once filming officially started, Lin Feng sat to one side, playing on his phone and occasionally glancing up at the set. Since it was a modern family drama, most of the filming took place in a warm studio set up by the crew.
"Hello, Mr. Lin."
The speaker was the production’s supporting actress. She was sweet and pretty and seemed very polite.
Lin Feng nodded courteously. "Hello."
The actress pointed to the chair next to him. "May I sit here?"
Lin Feng glanced over and saw that the only empty seat was indeed the one beside him.
"Go ahead."
"Thank you."
"You’re welcome," Lin Feng replied, turning his attention back to his phone. He continued scrolling through the news, inevitably landing on another story about Cai Xia. Wherever Cai Xia went, controversy was sure to follow.
"Um, I’m not disturbing you, am I?" the actress asked.
"Not at all. Feel free," Lin Feng said.
As a man, Lin Feng could often sense unspoken intentions, and this felt like one of those times. But the vibe this supporting actress was giving off didn’t seem that direct; there was a hint of playing hard to get.
The supporting actress sat beside him, pretending to look at her script. She glanced at Lin Feng. "Excuse me, Mr. Lin, do you know how to pronounce this foreign word?"
Lin Feng glanced over. "Let me see..."
