Young Master Xu, whose heart had been pricked, was puffed up like an angry pufferfish all morning.

He didn’t talk to the two of them on the way.

Entering the classroom, Jiang Yuan saw him still sporting a cool little face and couldn’t help but poke him with a pen, saying, "Still angry? If it’s a big deal, next time Brother Yan can buy me some snacks and I’ll share half with you, okay?"

"Hmph, the young master doesn’t care for it!" Was he concerned about the snacks? Obviously, what he cared about was his brother’s attitude.

"You don’t care and you’re still upset?" Jiang Yuan asked with her big bright eyes blinking.

"I..." He couldn’t possibly say that he was just jealous that his brother treated the stinky girl better than him!

Xu Jinyan, a bit infuriated and embarrassed, swatted her pen away, "The young master is happy with it, none of your business."

"I wasn’t trying to meddle. It’s just that Brother Yan saw you didn’t eat much for breakfast and was worried you might be hungry, so he told me to bring you this." The girl pulled out a small box of snacks from her backpack like magic, purposely swirling it in front of him before leisurely retracting it, "If you don’t care for it, then fine, I’ll keep it and enjoy it myself!"

Xu Jinyan snatched the snacks from her hand, and couldn’t resist deriding, "Jiang Xiaoyuan, are you a pig? Eating so much every day!"

Jiang Yuan got angry, baring her little rice teeth at him, "You are the pig." She used to have a bit of baby fat, but now she has obviously slimmed down a lot.

Xu Jinyan’s attention was all on the snacks in his hand.

He had stormed out of the house after hardly eating a few bites of breakfast and was currently starving. Looking at the snacks Jiang Yuan handed over, he eagerly opened it and took a bite.

The sweet and soft snacks, one after another.

They were even tastier than the ones the stinky girl had stuffed into his mouth in the morning.

Halfway through eating, he looked at Jiang Yuan uncertainly, "Is this really what my brother bought for me?" His tone mixed with excitement and glee!

The girl put on a straight face and stretched out her hand towards him, "No, I lied to you, it was bought for me, so give it back!"

Xu Jinyan immediately stuffed the rest into the desk hole, guarding it, "Dream on!" This was the love his brother had for him, no one else could take it away.

The girl made a face at him.

It was just a pack of snacks, look at him all nervous about it.

So pathetic!

She could just ask Brother Yan to buy some for her if she wanted to eat.

Thinking of Xu Jiayan, Jiang Yuan couldn’t help but smile, her eyes curving into crescent moons.

Although Brother Yan always told her not to sleep in his room anymore, she sneaked into Brother Yan’s room last night. Yet, Brother Yan didn’t wake her up or send her away, and even washed her face in the morning.

Thinking of this, Jiang Yuan felt overwhelmingly sweet inside.

She knew that Xu Jinyan had been thrown out along with his pillow by Brother Yan many times.

So clearly, Brother Yan’s favorite person must be her.

Xu Jinyan watched her purse her lips and laugh to herself, then suddenly leaned in and asked, "What are you thinking about?"

The girl was startled and looked up, glaring at him indignantly, "None of your business!"

"I don’t care to know about your business!" Young Master Xu rolled his eyes, picked up a piece of snack, stuffed it into his mouth, looked at her, and hesitated before asking again, "Is this really from my brother for me?"

The girl put her hands on her hips, "I already said no, are you annoying?" It’s just a box of snacks, look at him looking so inexperienced.

Young Master Xu snorted lightly, "Hmph, obviously it is!"

Don’t think that just by saying this, she can make him angry and give his big brother to her.
