My Celestial Ascension-Chapter 369 It Doesn’t Matter
Chapter 369 It Doesn't Matter
?After hearing their royal father's warning about their current behavior towards Yuan and his wife, the princes and princesses awaken from their stupors and feel a little sorry about their rudeness.
Yuan could only groan inwardly as his wives were too attractive for the opposing gender to ignore. Not to mention that his face is equally attractive, making the opposite gender incredibly drawn to him regardless of their age.
He didn't feel upset at the princes and princesses for staring at them because it wasn't their fault, and it was very typical for them to do so because of their otherworldly beauty, which struck them speechless.
A few minutes later, the prince glanced at Yuan for a few seconds before opening his mouth to speak. "I heard a lot of rumors regarding you guys, especially you, Mr. Yuan."
"Oh, really now? I wonder what kind of rumor Crown Prince Tristan heard about me." Yuan was taken aback when Prince Tristan decided to strike up a conversation with him.
Not only is he astonished, but so are his wives, who never anticipated Prince Tristan to begin a discussion with him rather than them, as some nobility do.
Compared to the aristocracy, King Richard appears to have provided a good education for his children. Yuan smiled as Tristan showed no lust for his wives, despite their amazing beauty, demonstrating King Richard's excellent parenting.
"Well, I heard a lot of rumors about you, but the amazing one is that you rendered Young Master Henrik's 'thing' useless by burning it away in front of the whole city." Prince Tristan spoke with dazzling eyes, filled with adoration and respect for Yuan.
"Now that you said it, I actually feel quite good considering that lecherous bastard got what deserves, it's makes me exceptionally happy…." Suddenly, Princess Fiona spoke out, a small joyful smile on her lips, knowing that Henrik would be embarrassed to expose his face in public.
"Oh, it seems that Princess Fiona has some pleasant memories of Henrik…" Yuan raised his eyebrows slightly when he heard Fiona's remark.
"Well, I do have some memories of him but, I won't call them 'pleasant' whatsoever." Fiona rolled her eyes, remembering her interactions with Henrik.
"Well, you may not know this, but that bastard proposed to my sister, but she rejected him on the spot, humiliating him. Despite this, he attempted to approach her." Tristan stated with a cheeky grin, prompting Fiona to glare at him with a frosty expression.
While Yuan spoke with the prince and the princesses, Anna Grace and the girls conversed with the Queen, Matilda Windfall, and King Richard's three concubines.
While speaking with Anna Grace, Queen Matilda, and the concubines realize that she is much more mature than she appears, which surprises them because they have never seen somebody so young with such maturity. fr(e)ewebnov(e)l.com
"Miss Anna Grace, would you mind providing us with your exact age? You appear so youthful and have such a mature perspective, which astonished me." Queen Matilda inquired with a curious expression on her face, anxious to understand how old Anna Grace was to have such sophisticated thinking.
"We would like to know that as well. And, if you don't mind, could you give us your beauty secret?" The concubines were equally interested in understanding Anna Grace's age and the secret to their amazing beauty.
After all, every woman wants to be beautiful and young forever, and this applies to all women all over the world. And all of Yuan's wives are stunningly lovely, rivaling even the most beautiful goddess.
They're eager to learn the key to their beauty, what sort of diet they eat to maintain such fair and healthy skin, and what type of potions they use to enhance their attractiveness.
"Well, to tell you the truth, we don't have any secret, our beauty is one hundred percent natural." Anna Grace responded with a beautiful smile on her face, knowing that they would not believe her even if she told them the truth.
"Oh, come on now, don't keep it a secret from us we're all women here, after all." Queen Matilda claimed she didn't believe Anna Grace's tales because Yuan's wives couldn't have been born so beautiful.
"That's right, we're all fellow women here so it would hurt you to tell us the secret behind your beauty…" Giselle said with a tiny smile, and Queen Matilda and the other two concubines agreed.
"That's correct. We want to become beautiful to please our husband." Celine said.
"Since Miss Anna Grace refuses to tell us…" Aurelia then gazed at Lily, who resembled a younger Anna Grace. "How about you tell us the secret to your beauty on behalf of your sister, Miss Lily?"
Lily sighed as she noticed them turning their attention towards her. "Well, sorry to break your hearts, but my mother is telling the truth; we have no secrets about our beauty; it is our natural beauty," she added with a stern smile on her face.
"Huh?!" This astounded Queen Matilda and the concubines, who stared at Lily with startled expressions.
"D-Did you just call Miss Anna Grace your mother?! Is it just my ears ringing?" Queen Matilda inquired, unable to believe what she had just heard.
'Is Miss Anna Grace indeed Miss Lily's mother? But it seems absurd; how can someone so young have a daughter her age?' Aurelia wailed quietly, obviously in astonishment.
However, she instantly realized something. 'Age...wait a moment, she didn't answer about how old she is...'
'Was she attempting to hide her age? She thought, suspiciously eyeing Anna Grace.
"Cough!" Anna Grace cleared her throat to catch their attention and stated, "The truth is that I'm already in my early forties. Furthermore, I am both Lily and Yuan's mother; I gave birth to them."
"What?! You must be joking, right? This cannot be true... How could you look so young despite being in your early forties and having given birth twice?" Queen Matilda asked, her face filled with disbelief.
Even King Richard was taken aback by this revelation, as the woman seated before him was about the same age as him and his wife, yet she appeared to be in her early twenties.
"So Miss Lily and Mr. Yuan are your offspring. It's no surprise that they resemble you, and it makes sense that your son is so attractive." Celine mumbled a second later, seeing why they appeared so similar to one another.
A few seconds later, a few maids appeared before them, giving them tea and snacks to enjoy.
They set everything on the table, while another person poured tea into the cups, and they served tea to everyone in the royal garden.
"You guys can leave us alone now." King Richard ordered the servants to vacate the premises.
"Understood, Your Majesty." The servants bowed slightly before leaving the scene.
While drinking tea, King Richard glanced at Yuan with curiosity and asked, "Yuan, if you don't mind, could you tell me what you intend to do in the future? After all, you are a person of higher strength, so I am curious."
"Well, we don't have anything planned right now. However, we will participate in the future expedition mission appointed by you, King Richard." Yuan responded quietly, without exposing his future plans to the king. After all, telling him is the equivalent of playing a lute in front of a cow.
"Oh, so you are going to participate in the expedition mission, huh?" Prince Tristan's eyes lit up with delight, and he felt relieved inside knowing Yuan would be joining the quest.
Then he exclaimed, "What a coincidence! Guess what? I'll also be joining the mission since many princes and princesses from many countries will be participating in this expedition mission."
"Not only that but from what I know the Royal Magic Academy will send their top students to this expedition mission to increase their mastery over their spells… it will be truly an honor to fight alongside them."
Prince Tristan expressed his joy and enthusiasm at the prospect of entering the 'Forest of Never Return' alongside many other expat wizards and warriors.
"Not only the students of the Royal Magic Academy but people from the Holy Light Empire will also arrive here," Fiona, the Princess of Wales, said.
"Well, my daughter is right." King Richard nodded to affirm his daughter's words. "They will send some of their most skilled holy mage and warriors. And they are led by the Holy Son of the Holy Light Empire."
"The Holy Son, huh? I heard he'll be succeeding Pope Theodosius III; I'm not sure if this is true or not." Prince Tristan murmured.
"Well, from what I heard, Saintess Mariana is the one who will succeed Pope Theodosius III…" Princess Fiona spoke. "Well, I'm not too sure since it's just a rumor, after all."
"Can't say for sure who will become the next leader of the church of light and justice… at least for now." King Richard sighed.
Then he turned to face Yuan and asked, "What are your thoughts on this, Yuan?"
"Well, to tell you the truth, I don't care about the matters of mere mortals." Yuan, with a frigid expression, stated, "What matters is that, as long as they don't disturb our peaceful life, I'm fine with whoever becomes the next leader of the Church of Light and Justice or whatever..."
"This…" Everyone looked at Yuan in disbelief, unable to say anything after hearing Yuan's icy comments.
His wives looked at him with admiration since he prioritized them above all else, and his declaration filled their hearts with joy.
'The Church of Light and Justice has been around since the summoned hero fought the demon ruler; is he not terrified of such a formidable organization?!' The entire royal family grieved inwardly, as if in astonishment of Yuan's daring comments.
