Hua Tiantian’s new drama, by some twist of fate, collided with Huang Shan’s—they’re playing the double female leads in the same production. Both of their agencies are significant players, making it impossible for either side to leverage clout to suppress the other.
On set, everything was arranged properly. The director and assistant director were discussing the opening scene featuring the female leads. Not far away, the two actresses kept their distance but simultaneously engaged in small talk with others, occasionally asking a few questions while watching the busy staff.
"The female lead portions in this production are pretty evenly distributed on both sides. After all, it’s a double-lead drama. But you absolutely can’t afford to let Huang Shan step all over you," her assistant nervously cautioned, occasionally glancing at Huang Shan in the distance out of the corner of her eye.
