My Beasts Forced Them On Me-Chapter 49. Obtaining the legacy
Jin woke up after some time.
When he woke up he felt a gentle stream surrounding him. He looked up and saw Lavy channeling her energy in him. He smiled and thanked her.
He looked at the others and said,
"Lavy was the result?"
Lavy snorted and said,
"Why are you being so cheeky? Do you think that after your grand blacksmithing display, there is no chance for anyone to compete with you."
Jin smiled embarrassingly. He looked at the other three spirits. He bowed slightly towards them,
"Junior greet the seniors."
The three spirits nodded. Mace wanted to say something but Lavy looked at Jin and said,
"Was I not a senior when you talked to me?"
Jin was stunned. But he didn’t have any answer.
Lavy waved her hand and said,
"Let’s not dwell on that matter. Let’s talk about the tomb."
Then she became serious and said,
"There are some things that you are not qualified to know for now but as your strength increases, you will be known to those matters.
The tomb of this rank eight blacksmith is not the beast trainer, but instead his pet, the Hammer Giant Beetle.
I was also with him in his last moments.
He didn’t tell his master about me and when his master learned that, he directly tried to kill him.
But beside the hammers they are most famous for their defence. He survived but he still didn’t eat me. He said that I must live my life because I am spirit. He came into this world because he found that wooden sword here, before signing a contract.
His Beast Trainer not a beast trainer as primary profession. I also don’t know his profession. I only know that he was unsuccessful in both professions simultaneously, so he abandoned his beast training profession."
Jin was surprised by the turn of events. He looked at Lavy and asked,
"Does that senior not know your current position?"
Lavy nodded helplessly.
But she said,
"but we are still safe because that guy didn’t know what exactly I was.
He only knows that his pet had a divine treasure which he didn’t give him."
Jin nodded in understanding.
Then he asked,
"How much time has passed?"
Lavy looked at him and said,
"Not even two hours. I have already teleported the others. They are at the core of this secret realm.
After three months, this secret realm will cease to exist.
You are the inheritor of this place. This place will remain."
Jin was surprised. He asked,
"But why is that?"
Lavy looked at him. This time Mace explained,
"Because you are the one who got the legacy. Did you not hear what that door guy said that he is the most unique creation by our master.
The reason is that the door is the only place from where you can get into this hall.
This hall is an independent place which remains closed to the door."
Jin was shocked. He has never seen such an artifact.
Mace continued,
"And that door works as an anchor to lead you in this hall.
Now you go and worship the master.
After you gain some insights we will send you out and you should also take this opportunity to cultivate."
Jin felt silent and then he nodded.
After that he went to the tomb and he kowtoed thrice.
He greeted and said,
"Senior, accept this junior’s greetings. Thank you for providing such an opportunity and I promise that I will use this well in future."
After saying this he bowed once again and then he left the tomb area.
He came near Lavy and asked her,
"What are your future plans?
Do you want to stay in this place or leave with me?"
Lavy looked at him and said,
"I am obviously leaving with you and they are also leaving with us."
Saying this she pointed at the other three and Mace nodded her head like pecking. The kid was jumping but Lance looked at him nodded once and then became a statue.
Jin was stunned. He looked at them and said,
"Since you can come outside anytime, why are you in such a hurry to leave this place?"
Mace looked at him and said,
"Because this place has become boring. Although this is the master’s resting place, he never said that we have to accompany him."
Jin understood but then he asked,
"But how are you all able to live for so long?"
Lavy looked at him and said,
"Are you an idiot? This place contains the aura of that guy. Although he is dead, he also preserved these three and others.
And even without them, the artifacts remain for eternity."
Jin was shocked but he shook his head,
"But they will become weapons."
Weapon and artifact have two different meanings.
A weapon is something that has no spirit. It only works based on the instincts of its wielder.
But an artifact means that the weapon has given birth to a spirit and is advancing towards the soul.
Lavy nodded and said,
"This is precisely what I meant. Did you not see that the weapon spirit of that door is so aged. Because that spirit was on the verge of disappearing.
But with your aura it will be able to remain alive.
When an artifact lost its spirit, it became a weapon. But this hall contains the last will of that guy which is stopping these spirits from disappearing and continuing to maintain their peak."
Jin finally understood the meaning.
He then looked at other artifacts and treasures and sighed.
He then looked at the four eager people and then asked,
"When do we leave this place and how to enter? Will it take the energy from the door senior?"
Lavy looked at him and said,
"We will leave now.
The door will take its own energy to teleport us in and out. When you have the ability to control the nodes properly and enough energy then you can use that door freely.
After using the door, just leave it outside so that it can use the spiritual energy to charge itself."
Jin nodded. The other spirits looked at Jin. Only at this moment did they remember that Jin used the nodes for blacksmithing.
Mace looked at him and asked curiously,
"How were you able to use nodes?"
Lavy answered this,
"Everyone has secrets. And he didn’t control them, he used external sources to attract the nodes and just brutally smashed them by using his spiritual energy and hammer.
If he were to control the nodes, he would be a void refining expert.
He can only use the nodes. Using and controlling are two different things."
Mace nodded.
After silencing them, Lavy looked at Jin and said,
"Let’s go. It’s time to leave this place."
Everyone nodded.
Jin took out the door and then he asked him to send them outside.
The door opened and they all entered through it.
After they all left, a long sigh sounded in the cave.
"Sigh, finally someone got the legacy.
But would that be dangerous to him or not, only time will tell that."
After this the ancient hall once again returned to its previous calmness.
After Jin and others left the hall, they all teleported to the core region of this place.
This is the place where Jin broke into the Core Realm.
He looked at the abundant energy and was surprised. He looked at Lavy and asked,
"How come this place was restored so fast?"
Lavy looked at him and answered,
"The outer region is dissolving slowly and the energy is being transferred to this place. Soon the middle region will also face the same.
Those in that place will be automatically teleported outside. And the core region will face the same after three months.
Then the remaining energy will transfer to that hall."
Jin nodded and then he looked at the others. They all had their eyes closed and they were cultivating.
When Jin appeared they all sensed.
Everyone looked at him and they all were shocked when they looked at the four figures beside him.
But before anyone could respond, a booby koala hugged Jin’s left hand.
Jin went pale.
"Little brother, how can you leave me behind?"
