Chapter 89: The Generation of Chaos
Thistime, he didn’t go to talk with the city lord. The city lord was a Galactic Realm powerhouse. Instead, he went directly to the camp where the warriors were present.
As soon as he reached there, some people immediately stood up. They greeted him politely.Though they were Level 9 Planetary Realm powerhouses, Ethan deserved the respect after killing 5 billion vampires in a single battle and reviving 100 million people.
Ethan smiled and also greeted them. The Planetary realm Battlefield was a battlefield of the elite class. Many core members of the primordial human race participated in this battlefield.
Suddenly, Ethan noticed a young man was approaching him. The young man stood in front of Ethan and moved his hand into a handshake gesture and said, "Hello, I am Remond Cromwell, Genos’s big brother. It’s nice to meet you, Mr. Hunt."
When Ethan heard Genos’s name, he smiled. He had a good impression of Genos. So he shook back the hand and said, "It’s nice to meet you too, Mr. Remond. How’s Genos doing?" ƒrēewebnoѵёl.cσm
Remond smiled and said, "He is doing okay. If you don’t mind, would you like to get to know some people?"
Ethan said, "Sure."
Remond said, "Please come with me."
Remond belonged to the elite class warriors.
The Primordial Humans also had a generation that was called the Generation of Chaos because this time was the time of chaos. The other sovereign races were getting ready for welcoming their new supreme, and so were the Primordial Humans. There would appear only one supreme per generation. This was the limit of the universe.
The last generation had produced the youngest supreme from the primordial humans, and that was why they could surpass the vampires.
Every race wanted the supreme to come from their race, naturally. The Generation of Chaos was full of monsters. The Primordial Humans also operated on a great scale to contract as many potential civilization as possible so that they also had a chance.
Now that Ethan had appeared, the upper echelon thought Ethan had a tremendous chance to become the new supreme.
Remond took Ethan toward a group of people who were standing apart from the others. They were chatting among themselves.
Remond clapped his hands to get everyone’s attention. "Hello everyone. Let me introduce this..."
Before he could even finish his sentence, one girl from the group shot toward Ethan like a cannonball and tried to hug him. But Ethan was using his mental power to create a short barrier around his body so that nothing could touch him without his permission.
The girl crashed into the mental barrier like a bird crashing into an airplane glass.
Remond was speechless.
He immediately stepped forward and pulled the girl away from Ethan. He smiled awkwardly. "I am sorry, Mr. Hunt. They were just way too excited."
But Remond was cursing inside, Damn it! What a bunch of bastards, ruining my image in front of Mr. Hunt. A member of the Generation of Chaos, my ass. He wanted to slap that girl black and blue but still controlled himself.
"Maya, what are you doing? Do you want to scare off Mr. Hunt?" he scolded the girl.
Maya looked a little embarrassed, only a little. She looked at Ethan with an apologetic face. "I am sorry, young supreme. I just couldn’t control myself and wanted to hug you."
Ethan was speechless. This girl was really bold. Then he said, "Please don’t do something like this again."
The girl nodded.
Then Remond again stood in his position to introduce Ethan. This time, a burly-looking man stepped forward and said, "Shut the fuck up, Remond, will you? Who the fuck needs you to introduce the young supreme, huh?"
Then he looked at Ethan and said, "It’s an honor to meet you, young supreme. I am Antony Cavendish."
Ethan nodded politely to him and introduced himself. "I am Ethan Hunt. It’s nice to meet you too, Mr. Cavendish."
Maya also rushed forward and introduced herself. "I am Maya Fairfax. It’s an honor, sir."
Ethan smiled and greeted her politely. He could tell these people belonged to some powerful families.
Remond was bubbling up like a balloon in the corner. He was cursing these bastards’ entire fourteen generations.
He got a perfect chance to show his superiority among his generation and wanted to make friends with Ethan, but no fucking way—those bastards didn’t even give him a little face. He would challenge them in a fight someday and thrash their asses.
Then, one by one, everyone introduced themselves.
Then Ethan asked, "So you guys said you belong to the Generation of Chaos. What does that mean?"
They simply explained what it was.
Ethan nodded. "So only one supreme could appear in every generation, and the gap is 100 million years in each generation. Then the dude who is 99 million years old, is he also a member of the Generation of Chaos?"
Remond’s face twitched a bit. But he still answered patiently, "No, each generation starts after 100 million years of someone becoming a supreme. The people before that were from the older generation. Our generation started fifty years ago."
Ethan had a look of understanding. "So those older generations don’t have any chance to become supremes? That’s quite unfair, you know. Why would parents give birth between each generation if their child didn’t even have the chance to become a supreme?"
Remond felt like someone had slapped his face hard. Listen to him—is he talking human language?
But he still said, "It’s not that they don’t have any chance, but they would need to wait for the new generation to grow up and then compete with them for the position. But normally, someone from the new generation gets the position."
Ethan now had the understanding of the full scene. Then he asked, "The other races have also cool generation names?"
This time Antony chimed in and shut Remond up. "Yes. The vampires have the Epoch Generation, the Celestials have the Origin Generation, the Titans have the Divine Generation. And as for the Cosmic Behemoth, they are not just one race—they have many races combined. So we are not sure of everyone’s name."
"So that’s how it is." Each race had their own fucking cool generation names. With the law of chaos he comprehended,Ethan was truly worthy of being called a member of the generation of chaos. Beside Ethan also thought of something. The disaster of Earth also started 50 years ago. So maybe that had something to do with it.
As the new generation just started that time and primordial humans were looking for potential civilizations.
Ethan then scanned each of them,he could tell all these people were very strong. They at least had the power of ten Earths or more.
"Not bad. Now tell me, when will the war start?" he asked.
Maya answered this time. "The war will start in two hours, and one million people will participate from each side. It will be a great battle."
Ethan also thought so. Two million elite Planetary Realm powerhouses in a single battlefield was a tremendous force.
So he had two hours left. The day would be over in two hours. His panel would update again. He was looking forward to thrashing the Celestial bastards who had tried to send people to assassinate him.
