My Aloof Husband, Mr. Drexler, Dotes Me Excessively-Chapter 64: Lost!
"Why?" she asked, somewhat puzzled.
"It’s ugly!" he replied coldly, his handsome face full of unabashed disdain.
Looking at the man’s displeased expression, Summer Shawcross couldn’t help but laugh.
She didn’t understand before why he was so overbearing as to meddle with her choice of clothes, only thinking he was tyrannical like some kind of control freak.
But now, she understood everything. 𝐟𝕣𝕖𝐞𝐰𝕖𝚋𝐧𝗼𝚟𝐞𝕝.𝗰𝐨𝐦
Thinking of this, she gave a mischievous smile, deliberately putting on a face of admiration and said to him.
"But I think this outfit looks great, so sexy. I’m sure it’ll turn heads when I walk down the street."
As soon as she finished speaking, Noah Drexler’s expression turned ugly.
Summer was secretly pleased, ignoring the increasingly grim look on the man’s face, she turned directly to the store clerk and politely asked.
"Please bring me two sizes larger and wrap it up."
...
A few minutes later.
"Thank you for your purchase, here are your packed clothes." The store clerk smiled and handed the shopping bag to Summer Shawcross.
Just as Summer was about to reach out and take it, a large hand beat her to it, grabbing the bag with a look of disdain, then turning on his heel to walk out of the clothing store. He handed the bag to Sean Morgan at the door, coldly commanding.
"Throw it away!"
Hearing this, Sean froze for a moment, looking at the shopping bag in front of him with some astonishment.
Throw it away just after buying it? Isn’t that a bit wasteful?
But seeing the gloomy look on Noah Drexler’s face, Sean didn’t dare to ask more questions. He quickly took the bag, nodded, and turned to look for a trash can.
"Noah Drexler, are you really going to throw it away?" Summer chased after him, seeing Sean had already walked away, she couldn’t help but feel a bit helpless.
"Otherwise, did you think I was kidding?" Noah huffed, annoyed.
"Forget it, if you don’t like it, then throw it away. It’s not like you need this piece of clothing anyway." Summer shook her head, inevitably sighing softly.
As soon as she finished speaking, the man’s expression froze, and he asked her with concern.
"For me?"
"What else do you think? Did you really think I’d go out dressed like that..." she pouted.
That kind of sheer white shirt was fine to wear as a nightgown, but she certainly didn’t want to go out wearing it and have people stare.
Just as she finished speaking, the man had already turned around and strode towards Sean’s figure.
"Stop, you’ll be finished if you dare throw it away!"
Just as Sean was about to toss the bag along with the clothes into the trash can, a furious voice suddenly rang out behind him.
Startled, Sean turned his head to see Noah Drexler’s tense and annoyed face.
He quickly reacted, pulling his hand back and took a relieved look at the items in his hand, thankful they were still there.
"Boss..." Sean handed the items back to Noah Drexler, his face full of even more confusion and puzzlement.
Just now, the boss had clearly told him to throw it away, but now...
When did the boss’s decisions become as unpredictable as the weather?
After all, he was always a calm and steady person, not one to easily make decisions, and once he did, he never regretted them.
In all these years, it was the first time Sean had seen his boss regret a decision, moreover... the speed of regret was so fast it caught him completely off guard!
