My Aloof Husband, Mr. Drexler, Dotes Me Excessively-Chapter 290: Utterly Captivating
Hearing Jessica’s words, Summer Shawcross suddenly remembered, a few days ago, Jessica indeed mentioned on the phone about helping her customize clothing, taking her measurements.
"I’ll head over now." She glanced in the direction of the door, then remarked with a slight curl of her lips.
After all, Noah Drexler was about to leave on a business trip, so staying home alone wouldn’t be much of an issue.
"Alright, I’ll send you the address, see you in half an hour." Jessica continued.
Summer responded with a word, then hung up the phone.
...
More than half an hour later.
On the bustling street of Downtown Narsus, a black sedan slowly came to a stop at the entrance of a branded women’s wear store.
Summer Shawcross pushed the car door open and got out, two bodyguards closely following her as she entered the store.
The store was very quiet, aside from the agent and staff, there weren’t any other people around.
"Summer, you’re finally here." As she walked in, Jessica greeted her with a broad smile.
She spoke as she led her up to the second floor of the store, finally pointing at several exquisitely designed dresses hanging on a rack, then said to her.
"These dresses are all custom-made to your measurements, try them on one by one to see which one looks best."
Summer Shawcross raised her head, carefully examining the clothes in front of her, then showed a surprised expression.
"These dress styles... I feel like I’ve never seen them before?"
She originally thought that the clothes worn by artists for magazine shoots were generally sponsored by brands.
So, they should be new or popular styles within the brand.
Seeing her surprised expression, Jessica smiled, then explained to her.
"These are custom designs, personally crafted by a renowned designer for you, they’re not available on the market, so of course, you haven’t seen them."
Hearing Jessica say this, Summer finally understood, but could not help feeling more curious inside.
"Are you sure these clothes are prepared for the magazine?"
It’s just for a magazine shoot, is it not a bit wasteful to specially customize clothes?
"Of course, just take a look, and see which one you like better." Jessica said with a smile.
"Aren’t all these clothes meant to be worn for the magazine shoot anyway? What difference does it make which one I like?" Summer said nonchalantly.
After all, these clothes would be worn for the magazine shoot, what difference did it make whether she liked them or not.
Her words left Jessica with a slightly awkward smile, then she continued.
"Ahem... it certainly makes a difference, whichever you like, we’ll try that on first."
Hearing this, Summer nodded, casually picking a silver evening gown she took a liking to at first glance...
The hem was like starlight, very enchanting.
"Then... I’ll go with this one." Summer pointed to the dress and said.
Jessica nodded, busily taking the dress off the rack, then pushed her into the fitting room.
"Go try it on, I’ll wait for you outside." 𝐟𝐫𝕖𝗲𝘄𝚎𝗯𝕟𝐨𝕧𝐞𝚕.𝕔𝕠𝐦
Summer nodded, turned around, and entered the fitting room.
Jessica smiled, then turned around, walked out from the cloakroom area, and went downstairs.
However, just as she got downstairs, she saw two bodyguards who had been waiting at the door suddenly collapse to the ground, and a man in a gray suit, who wasn’t there earlier, appeared in the store.
Jessica was startled, about to scream, when an icy, sharp object was pressed against her neck.
