My Aloof Husband, Mr. Drexler, Dotes Me Excessively-Chapter 225: A Bad Feeling
Hearing the sound, Summer Shawcross turned to glance at the man resting on the bed, then slowly walked out.
"Ma’am!" Just as she stepped out of the bedroom, Sean Morgan’s voice rang out.
Upon hearing it, Summer looked over and saw two bodyguards carrying a piano upstairs, preparing to move it into the adjacent room.
She was quite surprised, not expecting Sean to have arranged things so quickly.
"We’ve purchased everything you need. Is there anything you’d like us to add?" Sean turned to look downstairs before suddenly speaking to her.
Hearing this, Summer nodded and then headed towards the first floor.
The living room was filled with various sized cardboard and wooden boxes.
Summer walked over, her eyes first landing on her violin. She opened the violin case, and once she confirmed the violin was safe inside, she closed it again and began inspecting the other items.
Sean’s efficiency was indeed high. Besides the currently hottest global games, he had even bought some other interesting things.
There were playing cards, Rubik’s cubes, and other small items, even billiards, LEGO sets, and various puzzles, all things that could temporarily attract attention.
However, what surprised Summer the most was another item.
"Mahjong?" Looking at the Mahjong machine by the door, Summer’s face showed an expression of surprise and excitement.
She hadn’t expected Sean to go so far as to prepare a Mahjong machine.
"I remember a news story about a pregnant woman who became so engrossed in Mahjong that even when her baby was about to be born, she held off until medical staff came to deliver the baby," Sean nodded and explained seriously.
So he thought that this might be of some assistance to the boss’s situation, and thus had it included in the purchases.
But just as he finished speaking, Summer was already gone from in front of him; when he turned his head, he found her already at the Mahjong machine, reaching out to touch it.
His face showed a somewhat perplexed expression, and suddenly, he remembered that when the madam ran away from her wedding previously, he led people to her hotel room, where she was... playing Mahjong with three young stars from the entertainment industry!
Thinking of this, Sean’s facial expression paused for a moment.
"Sean, do you know how to play Mahjong?" Summer stared at the Mahjong machine, suddenly itching, as her Mahjong craving emerged again.
It had been a long time since she last touched Mahjong; the last time she ran away from a wedding and played Mahjong with the young stars was actually over five years ago.
She still remembered that those damn guys had won quite a bit of money from her!
"I know a little," Sean answered, somewhat puzzled by Summer’s question.
"That’s good!" Summer suddenly showed a happy smile.
Sean was stunned, suddenly feeling a... not so good premonition.
Could it be that the madam’s Mahjong craving kicked in?
Just as she was watching, Summer noticed on the lawn at the villa’s entrance, two bodyguards were installing a white swing.
She turned and looked, her face showing a surprised expression.
"What’s this..."
"The housekeeper was worried you might feel bored staying here with the boss, knowing you like swings, so had me prepare it for you," Sean walked over and explained.
Listening to Sean’s words, Summer felt a warm sensation in her heart, surprised that the housekeeper, worrying about Noah Drexler, also thought of her.
