Chapter 124: Chapter 124: Don’t Touch It!

Before she could get up, Noah Drexler lifted a leg and ruthlessly stepped on her wrist holding the syringe.

The woman screamed in pain, her hand loosening abruptly, and the syringe fell to the ground.

Summer Shawcross stood there in shock, caught somewhat off guard.

Just a moment ago, she was holding her breath for Noah Drexler, yet she hadn’t expected his skills to be so proficient.

The woman couldn’t even get close to him!

However, the continuous screams of the woman and Noah Drexler’s ruthless demeanor sent a chill through her heart.

It was the first time she’d seen this side of Noah Drexler.

"Boss, are you alright?" At this time, Sean Morgan rushed in with several bodyguards.

When they saw the woman sprawling over the coffee table, they hurried over, and several people quickly subdued her.

Noah Drexler expressionlessly glanced at the woman, then pursed his lips to instruct Sean Morgan and the others.

"Hand her over to the police, and while you’re at it, find out who’s behind her."

"Yes!" Sean Morgan nodded quickly.

Summer Shawcross’s gaze fell on the syringe lying on the floor, filled with a transparent liquid.

That woman just now intended to use this to harm Noah Drexler, but what exactly was inside?

Thinking about it, she couldn’t help but walk over and reach out to pick up the syringe.

"What is this..."

However, just as she picked up the syringe, Noah Drexler’s sharp voice rang out.

"Don’t touch it!"

Startled by his sudden shout, she hurriedly let go of the syringe, letting it fall to the ground.

As she stood there in shock, Noah Drexler abruptly walked over, taking hold of the hand she had used to touch the syringe, bowing his head, and seriously examining her palm with a solemn expression.

His tense demeanor at that moment made Summer pause.

After confirming that her hand hadn’t been pricked by the syringe, the expression on his handsome face gradually eased.

Sean Morgan also hesitated before taking out a handkerchief from his body, squatting down to pick up the syringe, sniffing it near his nose, then his expression changed, speaking in surprise.

"Boss, this is..."

Sean Morgan’s words were interrupted by Noah Drexler before he could finish.

"I know."

He coldly swept a glance at Sean Morgan, who paused, glanced at Summer Shawcross, then said no more.

Summer Shawcross, however, felt even more puzzled looking at the object in Sean Morgan’s hand.

"I need to change into a new outfit, all of you get out!" Noah Drexler released Summer’s hand, lowering his gaze in disdain at the clothes touched by the female server, and coldly said.

He was going to the auction later and didn’t want to wear this outfit there.

Sean Morgan nodded, leaving with the bodyguards and the woman.

Once the door closed, the room returned to silence.

Summer Shawcross stood there, her mind filled with thoughts of the server and the syringe in her hand.

"There are clothes in the wardrobe, help me pick out a set." Noah Drexler raised his hand, took off his suit, and tossed it into the trash can, then suddenly glanced at Summer and pursed his lips.

Upon hearing his voice, she snapped back to reality, turning to walk toward the wardrobe in the room.

Opening the wardrobe, she found several black suits inside.

Though they appeared similar in style, all classic and not flashy at all.

Very subdued, particularly suiting Noah Drexler’s demeanor.
