My Aloof Husband Can't Stop His Devoted Affection-Chapter 167: All are quite unconventional
Cen Jin heard this, and her small face couldn’t hold back, trying hard not to laugh, but finally couldn’t help bursting into laughter, gave him a playful glance, and stuffed the shark in her hand into his: "Although it’s uniquely ugly, it feels nice to touch, really soft and comfy."
"If you like it, just buy it!" Jiang Baizhou caught the shark, a hint of disdain flashed in his eyes, but the words that came out of his thin lips were the exact opposite of his apparent disgust, and he casually pulled over a shopping cart, then naturally took her delicate hand: "What else do you like? We can check out the smaller items first since we can’t take the big ones back for now." After saying that, he deliberately paused and added with a back glance, "Even though I’m in debt right now, I can still afford these things."
Cen Jin was pulled by him, eyes wide in surprise, tilted her head to look at him, then glanced at the uniquely ugly shark in the cart, looking quite tragic: "I didn’t say I liked this, if you like it, just buy it yourself. I won’t discriminate against your suffocating taste because... a psychologist’s hobbies and interests, including taste, might be quite unique and indescribable, especially since you’ve become a psychology professor, I totally understand you."
Jiang Baizhou heard this and realized she was mocking him now, to get back at him for teasing about the rabbit earlier.
After thinking it over, Jiang Baizhou nodded, seeming to agree with her point, deliberately drawing out his tone with deep meaning: "Hmm, my taste is indeed quite unique, tch!" That final ’tch’ sound came after he scrutinized her from head to toe.
Cen Jin immediately understood what he meant, her cheeks puffed up: "Stop looking at me with those eyes."
Jiang Baizhou chuckled lightly, feeling he had teased her enough and afraid of stirring up trouble, he wisely stopped and held her hand as they continued ahead, but he hadn’t removed the shark from the cart yet.
The two of them wandered around the first floor for about thirty to forty minutes, and the cart was almost overflowing with small items. Before heading to the second floor, they left the cart at the first-floor staircase for storage. Once on the second floor, they went straight to the hammock and rocking chair section. There were all types, and Cen Jin sat in each one, eventually taking a liking to a white half-birdcage style hammock and a swing-style rattan rocking chair.
Actually, she already had a small hammock in her own room, where she loved to snuggle up.
"Like these two?" Jiang Baizhou noticed her eyes moving back and forth between the two chairs and knew she really liked them.
Cen Jin didn’t deny it, raising her eyes and nodding: "Yeah, I like them, really like them." After that, she gave a regretful smile: "But, the house renovation just started, so it might not be so soon."
Jiang Baizhou didn’t respond, but the light in his eyes gradually brightened.
Cen Jin sat for a while longer in the rocking chair, then reluctantly got up: "Let’s go! Let’s take a look up ahead."
"Okay." Jiang Baizhou responded softly, once again holding her hand in his palm.
The two of them didn’t come downstairs until about five-thirty. Jiang Baizhou pulled over the shopping cart and tilted his head to ask, "Anything else you want to buy?"
"Not for now. Besides, buying now would be useless, they’d just be temporarily placed in my room. Let’s just leave it at that! I’m a bit hungry, I want to eat something." Cen Jin looked around, shook her head seriously, and said, suddenly feeling her stomach empty, she gave Jiang Baizhou a pitiful look.
