My All-Heavens Chat Group-Chapter 493 - 13 Nuwa’s Shock_1
The West.
The Blissful World.
Crimson-gold radiance and the pure Power of Faith intertwined, illuminating the entire Pure Land of Bliss and, indeed, the whole of the Western Lands.
In the center of the Blissful World stood a majestic Divine Mountain, upon which hundreds of millions of living beings knelt and kowtowed, praying devoutly.
At the peak of the Divine Mountain rested a series of magnificent, interconnected halls forged from pure gold.
Within these halls were innumerable powerful beings, majestic in appearance and inviolably sacred.
The most eye-catching among them were two Daoists seated in the center, supported by lotus platforms.
One had a golden-hued face and held the Seven Treasures Exquisite Tree.
The other bore a sorrowful countenance, as if lamenting the state of the heavens and humanity, his expression etched with deep-seated grievances.
They were the two Saints of the West: Zhunti Sage and Sage Jieyin.
"Hmm? Tongtian has left Golden Turtle Island? Where could he be going?"
Zhunti’s gaze was profound, seeming to pierce through infinite time and space. The past, the present, and the future all unfolded within his eyes.
"It’s the Snail Emperor Palace."
"What is Tongtian doing at the Snail Emperor Palace? Could he be seeking an alliance with Nuwa?"
Just then, Zhunti and Jieyin perceived Master Tongtian’s destination, their eyes filled with bewilderment.
Logically, since Tongtian had previously opposed the Divine Enthronement and sealed off Golden Turtle Island, he should have remained there.
Not only were Zhunti and Jieyin perplexed, but the Primeval Lord of Heaven and Lord Taishang, who had also been closely monitoring Master Tongtian, were equally baffled.
They couldn’t comprehend why Tongtian would seek out Nuwa.
「Snail Emperor Palace.」
It was located beyond the Outer Heavens of the Primordial Chaos. This was a Daoist sanctum established by Saint Lady Nuwa, a realm unto itself.
Towering mountains were enveloped in rich Spiritual Energy. It was a magnificent blessed land where auspicious beasts roamed and spiritual birds danced in flight. Mist swirled, and illusory colors shimmered. Majestic peaks soared, emitting a precious radiance. Various Spiritual Medicines grew upon them, and even a sacred plant could be seen absorbing the essence of the sun and moon, flickering in and out of sight within the shimmering haze.
At the very center of this vast expanse stood an immense and imposing palace. Auspicious clouds wreathed this palace, and a thousand streams of propitious light radiated outwards. It emitted billions of auspicious gleams, illuminating the heavens, incomparably resplendent.
On the palace plaque were three large characters, written with the flourish of soaring dragons and dancing phoenixes:
Wa Palace.
Each stroke flowed with Daoist rhythm, interwoven with Rules, and held supreme mysteries. A single glance from an ordinary Immortal would be enough to mesmerize them, making it impossible to look away.
And on the throne in the central grand hall of Wa Palace, a hazy figure was seated. Merely by sitting there, she seemed to be the sole focus of the entire world. Divine light swirled around her. Her beauty was breathtaking, such that no one could harbor even the slightest thought of profanity towards her. Her beauty transcended all human imagination.
She was Lady Nuwa, the sole female Saint among the Six Saints of the Primordial Chaos.
Senior Brother Tongtian has come to see me? But why?
Nuwa sensed Tongtian’s arrival, a flicker of doubt arising in her heart.
Still, a visitor was a guest. Nuwa opened the main gates and had the Rainbow Phoenix welcome Tongtian inside.
"Junior Sister Nuwa!"
"Senior Brother Tongtian, to what do I owe the pleasure of this sudden visit?"
Nuwa gazed at Master Tongtian. His robes fluttered, and his dark hair danced, with Dao Laws swirling around him. He seemed like an eternal, unique existence between heaven and earth—a figure of sacred dignity, his presence peerless and captivating.
However, Master Tongtian had no fondness for women and was indifferent to feminine beauty.
Women would only slow down his sword.
He looked at Nuwa and said with a forthright laugh, "Junior Sister Nuwa, forgive my unannounced visit and any disturbance. However, this time, your elder brother has come to deliver a fortuitous opportunity to you."
"’A fortuitous opportunity?’"
Nuwa was curious. "I wonder, Senior Brother, what kind of opportunity you are referring to?"
She was already a Heavenly Sage, immortal and undying. She had endured myriad calamities without decay and remained untainted by karma. Her combat prowess might be slightly less than Tongtian’s, but what kind of opportunity could he possibly offer her? If such a heaven-defying opportunity truly existed, wouldn’t Tongtian use it himself? Her relationship with Tongtian wasn’t *that* close. Even if Tongtian genuinely had a great opportunity he couldn’t use, he could give it to his disciples. It was unthinkable that he would bring it to her.
"’Speaking of this opportunity, let me first introduce a supremely great existence to you, Junior Sister.’"
As he spoke, a look of reverence and yearning filled Tongtian’s eyes.
It was the first time Nuwa had ever seen such an expression on Tongtian. He wouldn’t even show such an expression when facing Taoist Grandmaster Hongjun.
Instantly, her curiosity was intensely piqued. Could there truly be an existence in this world that even Master Tongtian revered?
"’This great existence is the Lord of Hongmeng.’"
"’The Lord of Hongmeng is a supreme being who far surpasses the Taoist Grandmaster. As for how powerful He is, I cannot even begin to describe it.’"
"’Let me put it this way: with a single breath, the Lord of Hongmeng can create countless Worlds of Primordial Chaos.’"
Master Tongtian recalled Pangu. Pangu had exhausted his very being to create the World of Primordial Chaos. Yet, in the eyes of the Lord of Hongmeng, all of that was insignificant.
"’Senior Brother Tongtian, surely you are joking with your Junior Sister? How could such a being possibly exist in this world?’"
Nuwa wasn’t shocked; she simply thought Tongtian had lost his mind. Even Taoist Grandmaster Hongjun couldn’t create a top-tier major world like the Primordial Chaos. And the Lord of Hongmeng could create countless such worlds with a single breath? Was that even possible? It seems Senior Brother Tongtian has become deranged because of the Divine Enthronement Calamity! Nuwa silently surmised.
"’I know it’s hard for you to believe, Junior Sister Nuwa.’"
Master Tongtian continued, "’When I first learned of the Lord of Hongmeng’s existence, I too found it unbelievable. But what I am telling you is the absolute truth.’"
"’I have some information here regarding the Lord of Hongmeng. Please take a look first, Junior Sister Nuwa.’"
Master Tongtian pointed a finger, and a ray of profound light shot out, flying directly into the space between Nuwa’s eyebrows.
Nuwa sensed no malice or threat, so she allowed the profound light to enter her. Then, her Primordial Spirit received an immense flood of information.
Among this information was the "Meditation Method" bestowed by the Lord of Hongmeng. By reciting it, one could behold the eternal and imperishable divine form of the Lord of Hongmeng and also receive His divine grace.
Nuwa glanced at it but paid it little heed. Such a technique was nothing extraordinary. If someone were to chant her name, she too would sense it and could even manifest a projection of herself for them to see.
She continued to examine the rest of the information.
What world is this? There’s another Nuwa here as well?!
Nuwa witnessed the sacrificial scene from the world of The Legend of Lotus Lantern, her delicate eyebrows knitting slightly. The scene was primarily from Master Tongtian’s perspective, but she could also sense an aura equivalent to a Quasi-Saint emanating from the Nuwa of the Lotus Lantern world.
It is said that all beneath the Saints are mere ants. However, the power of a Quasi-Saint was by no means insignificant. In the World of Primordial Chaos, such a being would also be considered a major figure.
For a dignified Quasi-Saint to be offered as a sacrifice, how utterly shameful!
Nuwa scoffed inwardly. She felt that this other Nuwa had disgraced her name, even though that person was not her. Still, to be able to take a Quasi-Saint as a sacrifice, this Lord of Hongmeng must surely be an existence at the Saint level. Moreover, He could evoke such reverence from Tongtian. It was highly probable that He was an existence comparable to Taoist Grandmaster Hongjun, or perhaps even stronger.
Of course, she didn’t believe Tongtian’s earlier claim about creating countless Worlds of Primordial Chaos with a single breath. Even if this entity was stronger than Taoist Grandmaster Hongjun, that was absolutely impossible.
Sacrificing so many women... this Lord of Hongmeng clearly isn’t a benevolent figure. I fear He might be a peerless, great Demon! Could it be that Senior Brother Tongtian, harboring resentment over the Divine Enthronement, has colluded with Demons from the Chaos? Back when Pangu attained Sainthood, three thousand Chaos Demons obstructed his path. There were undoubtedly some incredibly powerful existences within the Chaos. Nuwa had no doubt about this.
But why would Senior Brother Tongtian seek *me* out?
At this moment, Nuwa recalled the scene she had just witnessed of the Nuwa from the Lotus Lantern World being sacrificed. An absurd thought suddenly surfaced in her mind: Could Senior Brother Tongtian possibly intend for me to be sacrificed to the Lord of Hongmeng, just like the Nuwa from the Lotus Lantern World? That’s absolutely impossible! I am not comparable to that Quasi-Saint Nuwa from the Lotus Lantern World. If Senior Brother Tongtian truly intends to sacrifice me to curry favor with that... that Lord of Hongmeng...
As this thought crossed her mind, a chill flashed through Nuwa’s heart.
The next moment.
Nuwa’s profound and beautiful eyes suddenly froze. Her pupils contracted, her red lips parted slightly, and an exclamation of shock escaped her, "How is that possible?!"
...
