MTL - Start Trading Space Battleship (From The Start, I Traded A Galactic Warship)-~ The new book "From Lord to Dimensional Demon God" and the final testimonial
When the rune was written here, I felt a little uncomfortable.
The last time I had a similar mood was four years ago when the book "I Can Transform Everything" was finished.
This is probably the most failed book of Rune in the past three years.
The results in the early stage were very good, but the ratio of receiving subscriptions on the shelves collapsed, and the results could not be saved even after changing 400,000 words in a month, so I thought about the reasons and revised the outline. , speed up the completion, and prepare the new book at the same time.
As an old author who has been writing for six or seven years unconsciously, this is actually a helpless but very mature decision.
After all, failed works can not get any rewards except lessons.
But for Rune, such a decision was fraught with frustration.
As early as the opening of the book, Rune said that "Space Battleship" is a transformational work that Rune has placed great expectations on.
After writing six infinite streams in a row, I have to admit that runes have a lot of shortcomings in terms of the perfection of a single worldview and the details of the plot.
I've been in my comfort zone for too long.
The books are not bad, but it is difficult to grow.
So, there is this book.
As always, it focuses on an opening plot that Rune likes very much, and tries to expand the weak points such as world view, long-length plot, and characters.
Familiar writing has brought early results, but when he started to try unfamiliar fields, he ushered in a disastrous failure.
The portrayal of the heroine failed, there were many problems in the setting, the cool point was too bold, and the plot was not attractive...
I can't save it.
There is no way, this industry is such a reality, subscriptions and achievements can only be won by content, and the only reason for failure can only be yourself.
So apart from learning lessons and regrouping, there is no way to make up for the mood at the moment.
But the only good thing is that, no matter what, the setting, plot, and foreshadowing of the whole book can be regarded as having a beginning and an end. If you look at this book as a long-form copy of "The Salvation Organization", it is actually not sloppy. For such an ending, there may be many flaws, but after all, there are not many regrets left.
So, it's time to adjust the mood and focus on the new book.
The biggest change in the new book "From Lord to Dimensional Demon God" is probably that Rune finally gave up on putting the core of the whole book on a "good beginning", and abandoned the title and introduction that were too gimmicky. Way to force yourself to focus on the details and the plot.
This of course sacrifices early-stage appeal.
However, judging from the current score of more than 50,000 words, it seems that the previous results and attractiveness are not too bad.
Much better than expected.
However, Rune's expectation for this new book is still on "details" and "plot".
Slow down the pace, reduce impetuousness, don't pay too much attention to temporary achievements, focus on the overall and long-term, and let yourself maintain the quality with enough patience.
Hopefully, by the time the next book is finished, Runes will be in a completely different mood than it is now.
The above-thanks to everyone who has supported the rune all the way to the present, see you in the new book.
