Chapter 592 Yimugen Mountain

Mr.

He walked straight out of the Chuandao Pavilion, walked along the jade avenue in the middle of Taixu Gate, and walked alone to the back mountain.

All the disciples along the road bowed and saluted:

 “Hello, Mr. Xun.”

Mr. Xun nodded and said, "Okay."

When they arrived at the back mountain, all the inner sect elders and even the true elders bowed and saluted Mr. Xun when they saw him:

 “Hello, Mr. Xun.”

Mr. Xun only nodded slightly.

After returning to the elder's residence, Mr. Xun made a cup of tea and said to the door: "Go get a copy of your place of birth for me."

A Taoist boy outside the door cupped his hands and said:

 “Yes, ancestor.”

Then Mr. Xun was in his room, with a cup of tea and a book, frowning and thinking about something while reading.

The elders live in an empty space, in silence, with nothing.

There is only one table and one futon.

The tea taste is also bland and plain.

Mr. Xun didn’t think it was anything.

After burning a stick of incense, the Taoist boy held up a copy of his birthplace and handed it to Mr. Xun respectfully.

Mr. Xun nodded and took it, glancing at it with turbid eyes.

“Lizhou, second-grade Tongxian City, casual cultivator…”

“Middle and lower grade spiritual roots…”

“He turned out to be a casual cultivator, with average spiritual roots…”

Mr.

Mr. Xun looked down further and saw the specialties column with the words "good at formations" written on it.

He thought for a moment and nodded, "It's indeed okay..."

Children from Lizhou traveled thousands of miles to study here...

 “It’s so valuable…”

Mr. Xun looked a little emotional, his eyes were slightly focused, and he didn’t know what he was thinking about...

 …

Mo Hua was eating at his disciples' residence, with many disciples sitting around him.

Having been in school for more than a month, Mo Hua looks cute, speaks well, and is innocent, so he is quite popular, and he is relatively familiar with fellow disciples of Taiyi Ju.

Disciples from aristocratic families who are dedicated to cultivation are relatively late to mature.

Although most of them are seventeen or eighteen years old, they are not deeply involved in the world, have never seen the dangers of the world, and have not yet reached the stage of "chasing fame and fortune", so they are not deep-minded and pay attention to the friendship of the same family.

A disciple said to Mo Hua:

 “Mo Hua, be careful.”

 “You’re in big trouble…”

 “Mr. Xun is very stingy...”

There was a disciple next to him who made a "shush" gesture and said, "I want to die. I dare you to say that Mr. Xun is wrong..."

“I’m talking here, but he can’t hear me…”

 “It’s hard to say…”

 “I was heard…so what…”

“Then in the following days, you will be able to experience firsthand the ‘broad and profound’ formation...”

“That’s right, Mr. Xun will take good care of you and teach you those very difficult formations. Even if your consciousness is exhausted and your hair is falling out, you won’t be able to learn it..."

“Is there such a good thing?!”

"certainly…"

The disciple was stunned when he was halfway through speaking. Only then did he realize that there was a comment that was not quite right in the conversation...

He silently turned his head to look at Mo Hua, not knowing what to say.

Mo Hua asked in a low voice: "Does Mr. Xun know how to teach difficult formations..."

The disciple's expression was subtle, "Mo Hua, why do you look so...looking forward to it?"

"No, no." Mo Hua shook his head quickly.

 “Nonsense, your eyes are shining!”

"that is!"

“My eyes are like this!” the ink painting said plausibly.

   …”

"But..." a disciple asked doubtfully, "Mo Hua, why are you so good at drawing formations?"

Mo Hua said shyly: "Okay? Just so-so..."

Some people are envious, jealous and hateful, gritting their teeth and saying:

“Humility makes people progress, but excessive humility will make people get beaten!”

Mo Hua said: "I am just a little better at formation, so I entered the school with a middle-low grade spiritual root..."

 “Medium or lower grade?!”

The disciples present were all shocked.

“Are you a middle-lower grade spiritual root?!”

“No wonder, I said, your spiritual power is so weak...”

“The blood energy is also a little weak...”

“The foundation is not solid either…”

 “Not very tall either…”

Mo Hua was unhappy, "It's almost done..."

It’s enough to talk about physical strength and spiritual power, but if you’re not tall, can you say that?

 Other disciples laughed in apology.

Some people also said strangely: "No, no matter how well you learn the formation, you still can't enter with a medium or low-grade spiritual root..."

“That’s right, my ancestor wanted to insert a direct descendant of the family’s spiritual roots into the Taixu Sect. He tried many connections but failed..."

“It’s not good for top or bottom quality, let alone middle or low quality…”

"Middle and lower grade, enter the eight gates..."

The way a group of people looked at the ink paintings became strange...

After a while, several disciples from a distance walked over and stood in front of the ink painting. Their eyes were bright and they cupped their fists and said:

“Qianzhou Cheng family, Cheng Mo, make a friend!”

“I am from the Situ family in Lizhou. My name is Situ Jian. I will be the leading swordsman in Jiuzhou in the future. You are so polite!”

 “Qianzhou writers…”

 “Genzhou…”

 …

Mo Hua was confused.

He thought that a group of them came over in a menacing manner and wanted to fight.

The result is to... make friends?

What's the meaning?

If Mo Hua remembers correctly, he was talking about "lower-middle-grade" spiritual roots, not "upper-grade"...

Could it be that the order of spiritual roots of Taixu Sect is reversed?

Is the middle or lower grade better than the upper or upper grade?

 Mo Hua is very puzzled.

There were disciples whispering in the distance. Although the sound was small, it still reached Mo Hua's ears.

“They are just middle- and low-grade spiritual roots. Why are you going to make friends with them?”

"What do you know?"

“If he is really just a low-middle-class person, can he enter the mountain gate of Taixu Gate?”

“How can it be so easy to enter the Taixu Gate?”

"that is."

“Besides, he can enter the Eight Gates with a low-to-middle-grade spiritual root. Either his monastic talents are too unbelievable, or his background must be deep enough and his background is strong enough!”

 “Yeah…low-middle quality…”

“The foundation of Dao is so shallow…”

“Think about it, this is how you can get started…”

"Then how deep his background must be! How strong his background must be!"

When all the disciples thought of this, they were in awe of the ink paintings.

“It is estimated that he is the illegitimate son of some powerful person, and maybe he has some connections with the ancestors of the Taixu Sect…”

“If that’s the case, my spiritual roots won’t be so bad...”

“What do you know? Spiritual root inheritance is not 100%, there will always be some mistakes..."

“Parents with low-grade spiritual roots can give birth to children with high-grade spiritual roots. High-grade spiritual roots can occasionally give birth to children with medium- to low-grade spiritual roots…”

“It’s just that the probability is very small…”

“If you put it this way, it’s really possible to be of middle or lower grade…”

 “That makes sense…”

Mo Hua had a complicated expression and was speechless, emphasizing:

 “I’m really just a casual cultivator…”

The disciples were startled when they heard this and nodded, "Yeah."

But they all have an expression of "We understand in our hearts".

“Don’t worry, we will keep it confidential for you…”

 “Promise not to tell anyone…”

Mo Hua sighed, feeling helpless.

 Another disciple was worried:

 “Ink painting, although your background…ahem…”

The disciple said meaningfully, "I'm just a casual cultivator..."

“...But we can’t offend Mr. Xun. Mr. Xun is very senior and he may not even give him the respect of the head..."

“You have just entered the sect, and your time in the sect is still long. If you displease Mr. Xun, you will be punished by drawing formations every day, and the days to come will be difficult..."

Mo Hua said gratefully: "Thank you." But in his heart, he was muttering, "I wonder if Mr. Xun will "teach" him more difficult formations..."

He now has no "difficult" formations to learn.

his spiritual consciousness has also stagnated at the fourteenth line, and has not improved for a long time...

Mr. Xun...

Mo Hua’s eyes brightened slightly, and he thought in his heart:

“How about going to class tomorrow and taking a nap to get some sleep?”

“Look at Mr. Xun, will he punish himself and draw more ‘difficult’ formations?”

 …

The next day, Mo Hua discovered that he no longer had to sleep.

Because Mr. Xun did treat him specially...

During class, Mr. Xun handed out a formation handout to everyone. What was written on it was the essence of the formation of the Yipin Jiuwen Financial Formation, and there were also formation diagrams at the back.

Only in front of the ink painting, there is no one.

Mr. Xun took another handout to Mo Hua and said seriously:

“To learn formations, you must have a solid foundation. The foundation is the most important.”

“The better the talent, the more important the foundation is.”

 “You learn this…”

Other disciples looked at Mo Hua with sympathy.

Mo Hua had a stern look on his face, but he couldn't help but feel happy in his heart.

 “I’ve learned the formation!”

He quickly opened the handout and found that what was painted inside was a gold and fire two-system, one-level and five-element complex formation.

This complex formation has never been seen in ink paintings, but the structure is not complicated, not to mention that it is a five-element formation that can be seen through at a glance.

It is indeed a bit difficult.

 But it’s only a little more difficult…

It is as difficult as filling a gap between teeth.

Mo Hua was a little disappointed, but he still read the lecture notes carefully, sorted out and recorded some knowledge points that he had not learned before, and then started to draw the formation.

Mr. Xun is talking at the top and he is painting at the bottom.

By the time Mr. Xun finished speaking and the other disciples started to draw the formations, the ink drawings had already been finished. He looked leisurely, watching the other disciples meditating hard and scratching their heads and ears...

Mr. Xun’s eyelids twitched.

But he looked solemn and said nothing.

In the next class, other disciples are still learning the Yipin Five Elements Formation, while Mo Hua is learning a bit more difficult, this time it is the Three Elements and Five Elements Complex Formation.

But it’s still only the first grade.

The ink painting was as usual, and it was finished quickly...

After that, it gets a little harder every time, but not much harder every time...

 …

After increasing the difficulty four or five times...

Finally, Mo Hua saw the unfamiliar formation pattern.

This is a formation system that is related to the Five Elements, but is somewhat different from the Five Elements:

  The Eight Diagrams Formation!

The five elements are metal, wood, water, fire and earth.

The Eight Trigrams are Qian, Kun, Kan, Li, Gen, Zhen, Xun, and Dui, which respectively represent heaven, earth, water, fire, mountain, thunder, Ze, and wind.

The Bagua formation partially overlaps with the Five Elements, but the laws of things involved, the rules of the Great Dao, are broader and more complex than the Five Elements.

Moreover, the Bagua formation involves some hexagram principles of yin and yang, two rituals, and six lines. Although it does not directly generate the power of yin and yang and the six lines, it uses it as a skeleton to derive different formations based on the five elements. logic.

Comparing the two, the Five Elements Formation is slightly simpler, but it is the most widely used and the most common formation in the cultivation world.

The Bagua formation has some changes, covering a wider area, and the inner logic of the formation is also more profound.

This is from the formation textbook "A Brief Introduction to Formation" that Mo Hua distributed when he started from Taixu Sect.

This book of formations was read by Mo Hua whenever he had free time. In less than half a month, he had already turned it over.

It's a pity that this "A Brief Introduction to Formation" is for beginners after all, and the content is still too simple.

Ink painting cannot learn anything deeper at all, and even there are only some simple Bagua principles on it, and there is no complete Bagua formation and formed Bagua formation at all.

I want to learn ink painting, but there is no way to learn it.

But now, the “food” is in my mouth!

The handout given by Mr. Xun shows that it is compatible with the Five Elements and includes the Bagua.

This kind of complex formation is also a complex formation that has never been seen in ink paintings. It is compatible with two different types of formations.

One is the Five Elements Formation: Yimu Formation.

One is the Bagua formation: Genshan formation.

Hence, the full name of this complex formation is Yimugenshan Complex.

There are also some other simple formations and scattered formation patterns mixed in between the complex formations, which are not critical.

Mo Hua speculates based on experience that this Yimugen Mountain Complex Formation is a formation used to cultivate "wood" spiritual things such as spiritual trees, spiritual plants, spiritual grass, etc. on the mountain.

Use gen to strengthen mountains and use trees to nourish things.

I haven’t learned much about the Bagua-type formation patterns in ink painting. If I want to learn the complex formation at this time, I have to learn the Bagua “Gen” system pattern from scratch.

  New formation, new formation pattern!

Mo Hua’s eyes lit up and he immediately started researching.

 Mr.

But then, Mr. Xun was startled again.

He found that the ink painting of Yimu Gen Mountain Complex Formation seemed to be based on the formation patterns of the "Gen" system...

Mr. Xun was slightly surprised.

“Have you never learned the Bagua formation?”

"impossible…"

“No matter how you haven’t learned it before, you shouldn’t start learning it from the formation pattern...”

Mr. Xun frowned.

“Who taught him the formation, and why is he so biased?”

The first-grade five-element formation is extremely proficient.

Other than that, the foundation of other types of formations is probably very shallow...

Have never learned the Bagua formations, let alone those more unusual formations of the Three Talents, Four Elephants, Six Yao, and Seven Stars categories...

Mr. Xun shook his head, feeling a little regretful.

The qualifications are excellent, but unfortunately the foundation is too weak and the vision is also shallow.

The person who taught this child the formation seemed to want him to learn something advanced, so he blindly "fed" him the Five Elements Formation, so his learning was a bit biased...

Mr. Xun felt regretful and said nothing.

He continued to give lectures as usual, and Mo Hua taught himself the formations, but he didn't care.

At the end of the class, the other disciples handed in their "lessons" from the lecture notes.

The ink painting has not moved, I am still learning, and trying to draw the Yimugen Mountain Complex Formation.

Mr. Xun did not blame him, but waited patiently for him.

The other disciples finished their "lessons" and looked sympathetically at the ink paintings that Mr.

But they could do nothing but retreat silently.

In the preaching room, Mr. Xun and Mo Hua were the only ones left.

Mr. Xun looked at the ink painting with some regret.

But after just one stick of incense, the ink painting suddenly stopped. He breathed a long sigh of relief, then held a set of paper and respectfully handed it over to Mr. Xun.

Mr. Xun was stunned.

What is this kid... handing in?

If you can't finish the painting, just keep on painting. If it doesn't work, take it back to learn and practice. Once you've finished it, hand it in.

What can be handed over now?

Hands on, three scales and two claws, the remains of the formation?

Mr. Xun was slightly stunned. He took the paper and looked at it, his eyelids suddenly twitched.

 Yimugen Mountain Re-formation…

This is a neat, perfect, and flawless formation of Yimu Genshan!

Mr. Xun’s eyes narrowed.

 “This child...drawn it?!”

Starting from the formation pattern, in less than an hour, I drew a complex formation that I had never encountered before, including the Bagua system...

 Learning and painting now?

Mr. Xun’s hands trembled slightly, and his eyes looking at the ink paintings were a little complicated.

"you…"

Mr. Xun paused for a moment, then slowly said: "Have you learned the Bagua formation?"

Mo Hua shook his head honestly, "No, I only know the Five Elements Formation..."

There are also some critical formations, which are not within the scope of the Five Elements, but these are not easy to say...

Mr. Xun was silent for a long time, then nodded slowly, "I understand, you can go back..."

Mo Hua saluted respectfully and said:

“Old sir, you are polite, disciple, take your leave...”

After saying that, Mo Hua breathed a sigh of relief, and then because he had learned a new formation, his heart was happy, his steps were a little brisk, and he left the preaching room with his little head held high.

 In the mission room.

Mr.

After a long time, he sighed slightly and thought in a low voice:

“It seems...it’s time to change the teaching method...”

“I want to see how fast this child... can learn...”
