Chapter 812: Chapter 812: Enhanced Function Red Wine

The brunette pondered for two seconds, then shook her head and said, "Forget it, he doesn’t seem interested."

Faye Xavier: "He’s just pretending to be serious. Don’t worry, I’ll help you. I guarantee you’ll have a night you’ll never forget."

Saying that, Faye waited until everyone had finished choosing punishments, sneaked over to Morgan Quinn, and asked him, "Where’s the wine?"

Morgan Quinn, puzzled, asked, "You ran out? Didn’t you just grab a few bottles?"

Faye Xavier: "Functional red wine!"

Upon hearing this, Morgan Quinn smiled knowingly and pulled out a bottle from beside his feet, asking Faye, "You’re going to drink? Want the upgraded version?"

Faye Xavier: "Upgraded version?"

Morgan Quinn: "The regular version only gives you the lust without clouding your mind, just icing on the cake; the upgraded version... hehe, is the kind where you can’t recognize anyone after drinking."

Hearing this, Faye quickly analyzed Julian Bishop’s personality in her mind.

A man capable of saving his first kiss until his thirties must have extraordinary self-restraint and control. So as long as he has any sense of clarity, he probably won’t have a wild night with a stranger.

Hence, Faye replied to Morgan Quinn, "I’ll take the upgraded version!"

Morgan Quinn: "The effect of this wine kicks in about half an hour later, so watch the time."

Faye made an "OK" hand sign with a mischievous smile, grabbed the bottle, and returned to her seat, giving the brunette an assured nod.

The time seemed about right, but it still wasn’t Julian Bishop’s turn to get a challenge.

As there was only half an hour left until the game would end, Faye was about to make up an excuse to get Julian Bishop to drink, but he happened to draw a "2."

Faye was inwardly delighted and coaxed Julian Bishop into choosing a dare card.

Truth usually didn’t faze Julian Bishop, as he seemed to be able to say anything, but dares were different; he usually chose to do a drinking penalty instead.

Sure enough, the dare Julian Bishop drew was to call someone of the opposite sex "husband" or "wife."

For others, this might not be a big deal, but someone like Julian Bishop, who doesn’t take advantage of girls, directly picked up the wine glass when he saw the dare.

Faye watched as Julian Bishop gulped down the red wine, then gave a satisfied smile and secretly signaled "OK" to the brunette.

In the remaining half hour, Seraphina Vaughn not only failed to "get her revenge" but also lost twice in a row at the end, leaving her frustrated.

Out of everyone, Seraphina drank the most throughout the game.

After the game ended, everyone scattered, leaving her alone in her chair, clearly a bit tipsy.

Barry Barrett helped her up from the chair, saying, "What are you competing with? Look at the state you’re in. Get up and rest in the car."

Seraphina Vaughn waved her hand, saying, "I’m not drunk, just sitting to clear my head. This amount of alcohol is nothing."

"Yeah, right. Your face is as red as a monkey’s butt."

Seraphina Vaughn: "That’s just the wine flushing my face. I can still handle a few more bottles."

With that, Seraphina wobbled her empty glass at Barry, saying, "Get me two more bottles. I’m feeling blocked up; I need another drink or two."

Barry Barrett took the glass from her hand, "No more drinking! Go wash up and sleep!"

Barry called Lana Holloway over, and together they hoisted Seraphina from the chair. Seraphina wobbled her hands and said, "I don’t need help; I can walk by myself."

Seeing she could stand firm, Barry tried letting go, and Seraphina immediately plopped back into the chair, leaned on the table, and slurred, "I’ll sit a while longer to clear my head."

Barry turned to Lana Holloway and said, "You go ahead, Lana. I’ll stay with her a bit; seeing her like this..."

Before finishing his sentence, Seraphina waved her hand and said, "Don’t stay. I said I’m not drunk; just a bit light-headed. I’ll head back myself after a while."

Barry gave her an amused look and said, "If I leave now, I’m afraid I’ll find you here in the morning."

Seraphina mumbled something about insisting she wasn’t drunk.

After lying there for a couple of minutes, she saw that Barry and Lana Holloway were still there. She fumbled to stand up, gripping the table, "Find my coat."

Barry lifted the clothing draped over his arm and said, "Here it is. You still remember your jacket."

Seraphina reached out to take it, casually draping it over her shoulder as if she was just waking up, and wobbled toward the road.

Their motorhomes were lined up along the roadside, identical in model and appearance, distinguishable only by their license plates.

Seraphina vaguely remembered parking her car near the end of the line in the morning, while Barry’s car was in the front. Once at the roadside, she waved at Barry and Lana Holloway and hiccupped again.

Barry stood still, shook his head helplessly, and remarked to Lana Holloway, "Can’t do anything about her. Who knows what beef she has with that guy; she kept competing all night."

Lana Holloway just chuckled, and the two watched Seraphina get into her car before heading toward theirs.

Just as they reached the car door, a shadow suddenly darted out, startling them both, only to see it was Norman Sutton.

Barry glared at him, "Are you rushing to reincarnate?! You scared me to death!"

Norman Sutton: "What’s taking you two so long? I’ve already showered."

With Norman’s comment, Barry noticed his pajamas and asked, "What are you up to now? Surely, you’re not heading to a tent to accompany some lady?"

"Nonsense!" Norman immediately retorted, glancing at Lana Holloway as if worried she might misunderstand, quickly adding, "I haven’t eaten all night, I’m starving. I’m going to grill some chicken legs. Want any?"

Barry Barrett: "You’re gonna get fat eating at this hour."

Norman Sutton boasted, "I’ve never known what it feels like to gain weight, such a pity."

Barry gave Norman an evil glance, then affectionately took Lana Holloway’s hand, saying, "Let’s go, Lana, time for bed. Ignore him!"

The gesture seemed like he was showing off to Norman: I can sleep with Lana, and you can’t.

Norman Sutton let out a "tch," shuffled to the grill in his slippers.

Seraphina climbed into her van, pushed open the door to the room, walked to the bed, and plopped face-first onto it, kicked off her shoes, buried her groggy head under the pillow, and fell silent.
