Mr. Sterling, Mrs. Sterling is Multifaceted!-Chapter 239: Sinking to the Bottom
Seraphina Redgrave slowly relaxed her body, her breathing intertwining effortlessly with Ethan Sterling’s.
Feeling the woman’s response, Ethan became even more audacious, his slightly warm lips kissing from Seraphina’s eyes like a dragonfly skimming the water.
When he reached her lips, Ethan suddenly opened his mouth and bit.
"Ouch..."
Seraphina seemed to taste the metallic flavor of blood, angrily trying to push the man pressing down on her, but he was like a mountain, immovable.
Ethan didn’t stop, continuing to caress her ear and hair, provoking relentlessly, being as bad as he could be.
Seraphina was overwhelmed, opening her eyes to ask, "Why did you come back so late today? Did something happen at the company?"
Her voice had changed, carrying a hint of desire with her laziness.
"Something happened at the company?"
Ethan lifted his head, his expression slightly annoyed.
During the day, when he called, this woman hung up after saying only a few words, so he deliberately came back late to see if she would get worried.
Yet, she actually asked him if something had happened at the company.
Was her man that incompetent?
Had he spent the entire afternoon sulking just to be angry at himself?
Damn.
Looking at the small woman beneath him, Ethan gritted his teeth, wanting to tear her apart and swallow her whole.
Seraphina smelled the strong scent of tobacco on Ethan, indicating he had smoked a lot, so she said, "Go take a shower, it’s late, time to sleep."
"Who wants to sleep?"
Ethan fiercely retorted, lowering his head to kiss her lips, imparting all that tobacco flavor onto her.
The bitter taste of tobacco passed between Seraphina’s lips, carrying the unique scent of this man.
She didn’t dislike it.
But this man was kissing too hard, making it difficult for her to breathe; she wanted to push him away, but Ethan’s kiss was like igniting a fire, forcing Seraphina to burn as well.
Her body couldn’t stop trembling slightly, her mind a bit hazy, but Ethan’s occasional actions forced her to stay lucid.
Ethan was like a beast from a dark abyss, wanting to be gentle to her, yet unable to stop venting his emotions, deeply conflicted.
Broken sounds escaped Seraphina’s mouth, and she wrapped her arms around Ethan’s neck, whispering, "A little gentler."
What if someone saw the marks on her body?
The girl’s slightly pitiful complaint had a significant effect on soothing Ethan, who raised an eyebrow, making his kissing gentler.
Gradually, Seraphina began to lose control.
All she could hear was this man’s heavy breathing as Ethan frantically took from her.
Seraphina was utterly lost.
"Alright, time to sleep."
Seraphina’s eyelids couldn’t help but droop; how could this man have no sleepiness at all?
The sky was almost getting bright.
"You still want to sleep?"
Ethan instinctively retaliated by biting Seraphina’s ear, only to find the little woman in his arms had closed her eyes and seemed to be asleep.
At that moment, he wondered if he should just bite her neck off, as she made him angry every day.
Clenching his fists, Ethan carefully picked up Seraphina and walked towards the bathroom.
Afraid of waking her, Ethan didn’t turn on the lights, cautiously identifying obstacles ahead.
Seraphina nestled in his arms, too worn out to be disturbed.
Ethan wetted his hands, gently smoothing them over his face, when suddenly, the girl in his arms moved slightly, her lips unintentionally brushing against his palm, like teasing him; Ethan’s nerves tensed.
Dammit.
Because of Seraphina, he’d been angry all day, and now he even had to take care of her. 𝘧𝓇𝑒𝑒𝑤ℯ𝑏𝓃𝘰𝑣ℯ𝘭.𝘤ℴ𝘮
Ethan looked coldly at the person in his arms, but deliberately brushed his palm past her lips several times, waiting for her to provoke him once more.
Finally, he bowed his head again, bringing his face close to Seraphina’s lips.
"Stop it, I’m so tired."
Seraphina’s voice was soft and sticky, lacking the sharpness she had during the day, nearly melting half of Ethan’s resolve.
This woman...
Ethan was frustrated, truly disappointed, and should really teach her a lesson.
Staring at her, he whispered close to her ear in an intimate posture, "I’ll wash you up, go ahead and sleep."
"..."
Seraphina didn’t respond, resting in his arms, sleeping peacefully.
Ethan couldn’t help but hold her tighter.
...
Sovereign University, The Defiance Society, President’s Office.
Seraphina sat in a swivel chair, with various shapes of wood spread out on the desk.
With a piece of wood in her hand, she was intently carving on it.
Wood carving was indeed quite difficult; Seraphina had already ruined many pieces.
After expending so much effort to make these, who knew if Ethan would even like them.
"Knock, knock."
The office door was knocked on, Seraphina put away the wood on the desk, and in the next moment, Ronan Yates impatiently burst in, excited, "Seraphina, I’ve opened a bar, let’s have dinner together tonight."
"At your age, opening a bar?"
Seraphina looked up.
"Look, you’re no older than me yet you’re going to be a council member, Beatrice Fawcett is no older yet she is becoming an actress, and..." Ronan held his head high, "Why can’t I pursue my own career?"
"It seems like I might have been paying you too much." Able to open a bar, indeed.
"Oh, Seraphina," Ronan laughed cheekily, "Come support me, would you? I opened the bar for our Defiance Society; from now on for gatherings, we won’t need to go to others’ places, it’s our turf, and we can party however we want!"
"..."
She couldn’t even refute that excuse.
Glancing at the time on her computer screen, since the last time Ethan returned late, he kept coming back around midnight and then involving her in those things.
Today would probably be no different.
"Sure." Seraphina agreed.
"Woohoo! Awesome!" Ronan’s eyes shone brightly, finally securing an outing with Seraphina!
Seraphina sat there, suddenly noticing a piece of news in her view, a headline popped up at the center of the computer screen: "The case of Lena Lynch, wife of Jonathan Redgrave, ends, execution date set."
Seeing this news, Seraphina couldn’t help but click to read more.
The court’s judgment notice stated the execution was scheduled for next week.
Finally, Granny Coleman’s death was avenged.
Seraphina stared at the news, a bit lost, then abruptly stood up, taking the car keys from the desk.
"Seraphina?"
Why did she suddenly decide to leave, and she seemed to be in a hurry.
"I have something to handle, don’t wait for me, I’ll head to the bar later."
After saying this, Seraphina walked out without delay.
Ronan was stunned in place, suddenly realizing he hadn’t given Seraphina the bar’s address, how would she manage?
Never mind, I’ll just call her later.
...
Sovereign set the prison in a very remote place, standing alone and bare around it; the surroundings were eerily desolate.
The electric fences and barbed wire around it intimidated any prisoner thinking of escape.
