Mr. Grant Treats Me Like a Treasure-Chapter 553 - 552: The Car Got Hit
Ethan Grant’s car was custom-made, both its features and performance are top-notch.
The car that crashed into them was also a luxury car, and even with two luxury cars colliding, Ethan’s car still took a hit.
Serena Sullivan noticed Ethan’s expression was off just before she asked what was happening, and then the car was hit.
Having fastened her seat belt, upon collision, her head hit the front seat but she was otherwise unharmed.
Ethan’s temper wasn’t good, and it was even worse because of Serena.
He unbuckled his seat belt and got out of the car.
"Ethan!"
Serena called out first, worried he might lose his temper.
Ethan kept a stern face, gave no response, walked to the car behind them, and casually knocked on the window.
The window rolled down, and the driver looked at Ethan with an apologetic face.
"Sorry, I..."
"Get out and say it."
The hostility and aura from Ethan made the driver uneasy; he looked back at the person resting with closed eyes in the rear seat before getting out.
"Sir, I’m sorry, I couldn’t brake in time."
"Is that so?"
As the driver opened the door to get out, Ethan noticed someone was sitting in the back seat.
Couldn’t brake in time? Ethan didn’t believe that excuse.
"Take a look, how much would it cost to fix?" the driver continued.
An ordinary-looking driver hit Ethan’s custom luxury car and wasn’t anxious at all, directly offering to pay.
It seemed like they crashed into him deliberately.
"Oh!"
Ethan responded coldly, glanced inside the car, and then turned back to his car, started it, and drove forward.
The driver thought Ethan knew who was in the car and dared not confront them, feeling happy, when suddenly...
Ethan’s car quickly reversed and with another "bam", the two cars collided once more.
Ethan’s car was resilient, having collided twice without much deformation on the rear, whereas the other car was not so lucky; the front crumpled significantly, and the people inside were clearly frightened.
"Madam!"
The driver on the roadside saw the car that had driven away suddenly reverse, causing their family’s car to cave in, and immediately panicked.
He hurriedly opened the rear door, where the elderly woman resting without a seat belt was not only startled but also affected by the crash.
Checking the old lady’s condition in the rear seat, seeing her lying weakly against the seat, he angrily rushed to Ethan’s car.
"Get down here!"
The driver was furious; never had he faced someone daring enough to crash into his family’s car.
Did he not know who was sitting in the car?
Ethan did not get down; he rolled down the window and said with a sneer, "Sorry, I shifted gears wrong."
"Forget compensating for the hit earlier."
"Do you know who’s in the car? Apologize immediately."
The driver shouted angrily.
Ethan chuckled disdainfully, wondering who cared who was inside the car; they deliberately crashed into him, couldn’t be good people.
"And do you know who I am?"
The driver’s expression froze upon Ethan’s question.
He didn’t know who the man in front of him was, but it was the old lady who had ordered him to crash.
"You’ve dared to crash Madam’s car! Fine, I’ll call the police."
The driver straightened up and intentionally raised his voice, hoping to intimidate Ethan.
Actually, he was deeply afraid of Ethan!
"Go ahead!"
Ethan coldly threw out those two words, then rolled up the window and drove away.
"Ethan!"
