Mr. Grant Treats Me Like a Treasure-Chapter 529 - 528: Mr. Sterling, Who Do You Trust?
"Dad."
Mrs. Sterling was about to say more, but the old man looked at her coldly, "If you want to stay with her, then stay!"
Mrs. Sterling glanced painfully at Felicity Sterling at the door, gritting her teeth, and followed her out.
"Old man."
Mrs. Sterling attempted to persuade him again.
"Do you want to join them too?"
The old man responded indifferently; pleading was useless here.
"Butler Lowell, push Serena Sullivan inside."
After dealing with Felicity Sterling, the old man instructed Butler Lowell.
"Let me do it!" Wyatt Sterling volunteered to take the wheelchair, pushing Serena Sullivan inside.
"Why do you trust me so much?"
On the way to the dining room, Serena Sullivan couldn’t help but ask Wyatt Sterling.
Wyatt Sterling should trust his sister and mother instead.
"No reason!" Wyatt Sterling replied with a smile; he simply did trust her.
The feeling of being trusted without question was wonderful.
"It wasn’t Felicity who pushed me." Serena Sullivan thought for a moment and then said.
"Felicity is sometimes very capricious, always fighting to be the best, but she’s not that bad."
Wyatt Sterling believed Serena’s words and understood Felicity Sterling.
It wasn’t Serena, not Felicity, nor could it be those two servants; Wyatt Sterling thought of the remaining person.
"Hmm." Serena Sullivan responded, defending Felicity Sterling and leaving Wyatt Sterling to think for himself, saying nothing more. She thought of Claire Sullivan; over the years, Claire Sullivan had treated her poorly for Joel Quinn and his daughter, but at least she hadn’t raised her the wrong way.
And Mrs. Sterling...
The old man watched Wyatt Sterling and Serena Sullivan laughing together; the bonds of blood were truly unchangeable; Wyatt Sterling and Serena were siblings, such trust could not be replaced by anyone else.
Thinking of this, he turned to look at Felicity Sterling and the others outside.
Serena hadn’t said who pushed her, Felicity was sure it wasn’t her, so who could it be?
If this continues, Felicity Sterling will be ruined sooner or later by her own actions.
"Remove the threshold."
The old man ordered Butler Lowell and then turned and went inside.
The old lady was upset, comforted Felicity Sterling a bit at the door, and also went inside.
Left in the corridor were just Mrs. Sterling and Felicity Sterling; Felicity Sterling looked at the flowers in the garden, feeling awful and upset.
She didn’t like Serena Sullivan and had repeatedly opposed Serena.
This time, however, she had genuinely stepped forward to help.
Now she had fallen, her skin was scraped and bleeding, and she had suffered a bellyful of grievances.
"Felicity, mom believes you." Mrs. Sterling held Felicity’s cold hand and said.
Upon hearing Mrs. Sterling’s words, Felicity’s eyes reddened with grievance.
"In the future, be more vigilant around her; don’t disobey my words." Mrs. Sterling advised.
She raised her hand to wipe away the tears falling from her eyes and sniffed, "Hmm!"
As they spoke, they saw Mr. Sterling approaching in the distance; Felicity Sterling, punished to stand there, didn’t dare step forward, standing still and watching Mr. Sterling approach with tearful eyes, calling, "Dad!"
Mrs. Sterling approached Mr. Sterling, first sighing deeply, "Dad was very angry earlier and made Felicity stand here."
She hadn’t explained the situation yet.
Mr. Sterling turned and glanced at Felicity Sterling indifferently without speaking.
"Felicity saw Serena going over the threshold and went to lend a hand, but who would’ve thought..."
Mrs. Sterling paused intentionally at this point, glancing at Mr. Sterling, who maintained a cold expression without any reaction.
"Come inside."
Mrs. Sterling didn’t get the chance to continue complaining; Mr. Sterling interrupted and walked on.
"Dad!"
