After seeing the doctor, Ethan Grant walked out of the hospital with a heavy heart.
The doctor hesitantly said that there were no abnormalities in Serena Sullivan’s body!
Ethan didn’t believe it.
He saw from the doctor’s evasive eyes that he was being deceived.
Later, after some persuasion and threats, the doctor tactfully advised Ethan to have Serena undergo surgery as soon as possible.
Ethan deeply sensed something was amiss in the doctor’s words. He stopped asking questions, now focusing on arranging Serena’s transfer abroad immediately, without any delay!

Aunt Ann’s voice was choked with sobs; these two words made Ethan’s heart tremble, as he looked up to see an ambulance parked nearby.
The vehicle stopped, the door opened, and a nurse pushed a stretcher out.
Ethan didn’t recognize the person lying on it, but he saw Aunt Ann beside the vehicle.
"Madam is in the hospital."
Aunt Ann said, looking up to see Ethan walking swiftly toward her.
"Sir."
Ethan ignored Aunt Ann, lowering his head to see Serena lying on the stretcher. His heart contracted in pain, his breath catching in that moment.
"It’s nothing serious."
Aunt Ann reassured, "Madam’s neck was cut, but it’s just a superficial wound."
Aunt Ann assumed that Serena had fainted from fright.
Ethan didn’t respond, following the nurse quickly into the hospital.
Once at the ER, nurses and doctors blocked Ethan from entering, leaving him waiting once again in the corridor for Serena inside.
And this time, the feeling of panic came even stronger.

"Sir."
Aunt Ann came over, telling Ethan about the events at The Sullivan Family.
Ethan leaned against the cold wall, listening.
Aunt Ann said, the more serious injury was with Claire Sullivan, not Serena.
But Ethan frequently glanced toward the surgery room, refusing to believe Aunt Ann’s words.
It’s unclear how long he waited, but the doctor came out, and Serena was wheeled out right behind.
As Serena was taken into a room, Ethan watched from where he rested against the wall, neither following to the hospital room nor questioning the doctor.

Finn received the call while checking luggage.
