Mr. Grant Treats Me Like a Treasure-Chapter 371 - 370
Four years ago, it was Renee Grant who spoke first. When she heard Ethan Grant ask everyone if they wanted to know the final outcome of that night, a wave of panic swept over her heart.
Very few people knew the final outcome. The Grant Family wouldn’t risk losing face, and they believed Ethan wouldn’t dare joke about his own dignity as a man.
Now, Ethan was looking at her disdainfully. Was he really going to reveal everything in front of so many people?
No!
Those three words immediately popped into Renee’s mind. She could say Ethan was drugged four years ago, but she couldn’t reveal the final result.
"What result or not?" she said with a stiff smile, "What else could have happened in the end?"
She used that kind of drug so, as a man, in that situation, of course, he would have slept with the only girl in the room, to release his tension.
That’s what Renee implied, but the guests around them didn’t believe it.
If that was really the case, why would Ethan say that and then glare at her with a face full of mockery after she finished speaking?
"Sister, do you mean I slept with that girl?"
Ethan asked back with a cold smile.
Four years ago, Mr. Grant locked him in a room, causing him to miss the best chance to rescue Serena Sullivan. Renee drugged him in his meal to make him give up on Serena.
These two were his family, yet for their personal gain, they didn’t treat him as family at all.
Since that’s the case, why should he hold on to any familial ties!
"Heh." At Ethan’s question, Renee panicked. She chuckled, "Ethan, I won’t argue with you about your brother-in-law."
"In the future, don’t make foolish mistakes over a woman. It really hurts the bond between us siblings."
The words "bond between siblings" made Ethan’s face darken. He coldly interrupted, "Shut up."
"Renee, you don’t deserve to be my sister."
From the moment Renee drugged him, Ethan never saw her as a sister. Her claim to care for him was actually just for her own sake.
"Ethan, how can you say such things to your sister? How would Dad and Grandma react if they knew?"
Renee said with grievance, suddenly regretting that she didn’t let Ethan and Serena leave earlier. Anyway, she could go around saying it was Serena who incited Ethan to drug Felix Lockwood.
Rumors, although without evidence, could still ruin Serena’s reputation and make everyone feel she’s unworthy of Ethan.
"Alright, alright." Renee said softly, turning to look at the guests around, "Everyone, please disperse."
There was absolutely no way Ethan could reveal the whole story about being drugged four years ago. Her dad and grandma wouldn’t let her off if they knew.
All the guests were still waiting for the outcome from Ethan, and ending it like this felt unsatisfying.
Did Ethan really sleep with that girl four years ago? If he did, would Serena mind, would the Sterling family’s young lady mind?
If he didn’t, how did Ethan endure through it?
Everyone saw Ethan standing there with a cold smile, thinking it was over and were just about to go about their conversations, when Ethan spoke again.
"Four years ago, I didn’t touch that girl."
The cold, deep voice was Ethan’s.
"I knocked the girl out and endured it for a whole night."
As he spoke, he turned his body, his gaze landing on Serena Sullivan in the wheelchair.
These calm words were indeed meant for Serena to hear.
