Chapter 369: Chapter 368: Innocent Victim

Serena Sullivan felt wronged and laughed at Renee Grant, "If I were to drug someone, it would be you!"

"You!" Drug her! Looking at Serena’s smile, Renee was really afraid Serena’s words might be true.

"Besides, even if you were drugged, no one would want you."

Serena shifted the topic, deliberately humiliating Renee Grant.

Was Renee allowed to insult her without her getting back at her indirectly?

"Say it again!" Renee was furious to the point of death as she raised her hand to slap Serena, but Ethan Grant quickly grabbed her hand.

"Sister, what are you doing!"

"Ethan." Renee softened her voice and looked at Ethan, "Wake up, don’t be fooled by this woman."

"She doesn’t truly love you; she’s after The Grant Family’s money, and she’s come to take revenge for when you abandoned her."

"Is there more?"

Ethan continued in a calm voice, urging Renee to go on.

Seeing Ethan willing to hear bad things about Serena, Renee continued, "What’s so good about Serena? Look at her legs..."

Before she could finish, Ethan shoved Renee hard to the ground.

Renee fell painfully, sitting on the ground, glaring at Ethan with both sadness and anger.

"Renee sister." Felicity’s voice came, she rushed over, seeing Renee had fallen, and immediately helped her up.

Renee looked at Felicity, who was worried about her, then at Serena in the wheelchair coldly grinning at her, feeling more justified in her actions for Ethan’s sake.

"Mr. Grant, you’re all family, speak nicely, don’t harm the harmony between you."

Ethan glanced coldly at Felicity, rudely sneering, "None of your damn business what’s happening in The Grant Family!"

"Who do you think you are!"

At the Sterling family’s party, Ethan was so blunt in insulting Felicity without caring for courtesy that Mr. and Mrs. Sterling approached together.

"Felicity." Mr. Sterling called softly, "Come here!"

Mrs. Sterling stepped forward and addressed Ethan, "She shouldn’t interfere with The Grant Family’s matters, but this is the Sterling family’s party."

"If Mr. Grant is drugging people at the Sterling family’s party, we as hosts have to intervene and report it to the police."

Mrs. Sterling’s words made Ethan look over seriously; this was a veiled warning and threat to him.

"Mrs. Sterling, if you really have evidence that I drugged Felix Lockwood, then report it."

"If there’s none, my lawyer will sue your Sterling family for slander."

Given the way things were arranged, Ethan wouldn’t allow anyone to get a grip on him.

Accusations of drugging were just speculations by Felix and Renee, did they have evidence?

"Mr. Grant..."

Mrs. Sterling’s face turned ugly instantly, she wanted to continue but was stopped by Mr. Sterling, who said, "That’s enough."

Mrs. Sterling held back, listening to Mr. Sterling, she could only refrain from arguing further.

However, Renee wasn’t done, and Ethan knew she wouldn’t let it go easily.

She cared so much about Felix that she would surely claim he was drugged, even though it was the truth.

"Fine, fine!"

Renee stood there, eyes welling with tears, repeatedly saying, "I really raised a good brother."

Ethan was more than ten years younger than Renee, and Renee practically watched him grow up, yet raising had nothing to do with her; Ethan was raised by The Matron Grant herself.

"For the sake of a woman, you’ve been arguing with Dad non-stop for these four years, angering Grandma into fainting repeatedly, and now you do this to your brother-in-law?"

"Ethan Grant, you must give me an explanation for tonight’s affairs!"
