Mr. Grant Treats Me Like a Treasure-Chapter 347 - 346: Poor Wyatt Sterling
After waiting for a while, Wyatt Sterling saw Serena Sullivan coming out of The Sullivan Corporation’s entrance, and he exclaimed happily, "Dad, it’s Serena Sullivan!"
For some reason, after seeing Serena, he often dreamed of her beautiful smiling face, and seeing her here made him particularly excited.
It was as if they had known each other in a past life! So familiar.
"Mm!"
Mr. Sterling’s response was a cold one as he turned his head to see Serena in a wheelchair, also noticing the figure chasing after her.
"Why is she here?" Wyatt asked again.
"This is The Sullivan Corporation, today is The Sullivan Corporation’s shareholder meeting."
Yesterday, his dad had him responsible for the contract to acquire shares of The Sullivan Corporation, and Wyatt realized, "So, I’m supposed to talk to her."
Thinking about being able to meet Serena again, Wyatt’s smile grew wider.
He was really looking forward to it!
His fondness for Serena was even greater than he imagined.
"However," Wyatt’s tone softened, looking puzzled at Mr. Sterling fixated on The Sullivan Corporation’s entrance, "I’ve evaluated The Sullivan Corporation, and both its commercial value and future prospects aren’t very good."
"Buying the shares in Serena’s hands at such a high price is of no help to The Sterling Corporation."
From a young age, Wyatt had learned business from the Sterling patriarch, and later, under Mr. Sterling’s guidance, he underwent further training.
His business acumen was sharp and precise.
"Not necessarily!"
Mr. Sterling simply responded with two words.
Wyatt scratched his head, puzzled about what his father was really planning.
Could there be some unknown business secret inside The Sullivan Corporation?
He pondered, turning his head to look out of the car window, and saw Claire Sullivan walking to Serena’s side, exclaiming in surprise, "Who is that?"
Standing together with Serena, they looked similar by about seventy to eighty percent, like two blossoming sisters.
"Claire Sullivan."
The cold voice was full of disdain, causing Wyatt to shiver.
"Serena’s mother?"
Wyatt recalled that before coming to Solaria, he hadn’t really looked into affairs or people here, but after coming, he found he quite liked the people of Solaria.
Like Serena, and Claire as well.
"The man who just slapped his daughter is her current husband." Mr. Sterling added.
"Hm?"
Wyatt remembered, The Sullivan Corporation was previously managed by Claire’s husband, and today’s shareholder meeting was a power struggle between her daughter and husband.
Judging by Joel Quinn’s frantic behavior, it was clear Serena had won.
"Such poor judgment," Wyatt remarked.
He thought of something else and asked Mr. Sterling, "What about Serena’s biological father?"
"Is he dead?"
After speaking, Wyatt felt the temperature in the car drop significantly, so cold that his body shivered.
"Wyatt, complete the acquisition documents for The Sullivan Corporation before you sleep."
As Wyatt was about to ask more, Mr. Sterling’s voice delivered a cold command.
Wyatt was taken aback. He had just started on the acquisition documents; how could he finish by tonight!
"Dad, my dear dad, can I give it to you tomorrow?"
Mr. Sterling gave him a cold look, leaving Wyatt to grasp the meaning by himself.
Wyatt was disheartened and sad, not knowing how he had inadvertently offended his father again.
Despite how good-looking his father was, he was cruel and petty, the most ruthless and fearsome old man Wyatt had ever known.
"We’ll also have dinner tomorrow."
Wyatt dared not speak further, fearing Mr. Sterling’s mood would worsen, and he’d move the document deadline to noon.
In the past, when he was with his grandfather, he was never this pitiful. He was sure he wasn’t truly a Sterling by blood.
Mr. Sterling signaled to drive off.
The car drove away from The Sullivan Corporation’s entrance, and he turned his head for a cold last glance at Serena and Claire Sullivan.
