Mr. Grant Treats Me Like a Treasure-Chapter 301 - 300: I Rebelled—What Can You Do About It?
As the words fell, Ethan Grant swung the baseball bat towards the large vase on the side.
This vase was genuine, bought by Mr. Grant at a high price.
With one swing, the vase shattered, leaving shards all over the floor.
"Ethan Grant, you’ve rebelled!"
Mr. Grant couldn’t control himself, pointing a trembling finger at Ethan.
Mrs. Sterling was somewhat frightened, not expecting Ethan to be there to smash the Grant Family.
"I’ve rebelled, so what can you do about it?"
Ethan asked wildly and mockingly, swinging again, this time targeting the food on the dining table.
The plates and bowls shattered, sending food splattering everywhere.
Even on the Matron Grant and the Sterling Family members.
"Ethan, don’t be impulsive." The Matron Grant said urgently.
After all, they were father and son, and there were guests present.
Ethan didn’t care anymore; he only knew that if he didn’t personally take action to destroy the Grant Family, he would go mad.
"Mom, did you know she fell down the stairs!"
Ethan scoffed coldly and asked,
The Matron Grant paused, then nodded.
"Did you know she had my child!"
What happened at the banquet tonight, Ethan learned all about it on his way to the Grant Family.
After he left, Mr. Grant humiliated Serena!
He only just learned that four years ago, she had his child!
"Ha ha..."
"I..."
The Matron Grant’s face turned paler; she wanted to say, that was four years ago.
"And do you know that the child was lost in the car accident four years ago."
"Ethan..." The Matron Grant softened her voice, hoping to persuade Ethan, but before she could say anything, Ethan laughed again.
His demeanor frightened the Matron Grant, tears slowly rolling down her face.
"Ethan, it’s all in the past."
"No!" Ethan replied with a cold laugh, "It’s not over!"
He might be the most foolish and stupid man in the world.
All these years, to blind Mr. Grant and seize control of The Grant Corporation, he turned a blind eye to the matters concerning Serena.
Once power was in hand, he looked into Serena’s whereabouts, the true cause of the car accident, thinking about how to lure her back!
But he forgot what exactly she lost in that car accident.
No wonder she hated him so much, no wonder she often sat by the window, making him feel she wanted to jump down from there.
The child was gone, their only child was gone!
How could she not want to jump!
How did his Serena endure these past four years!
In that instant, Ethan’s anger and hatred turned to despair; he raised the baseball bat and smashed it down again on the things on the table.
Shards flew, injuring the Matron Grant’s wrist.
"Ethan." The Matron Grant couldn’t care less about the blood on her hand, she cried out, "I’m sorry!"
She had seen how mad her son could become for Serena, how could she tell him about the child again.
She had thought to keep it a secret forever.
But today, Mr. Grant said it out loud in front of so many people without even telling her in advance.
"Ethan Grant!"
Mr. Grant had no softness or guilt like the Matron Grant; seeing the Sterling Family watch him getting his home destroyed by his son, he felt only anger.
"Everybody get in here and grab him for me."
Hearing Mr. Grant’s words, the servants at the door slowly moved towards Ethan.
Ethan turned his head, looking coldly at these servants.
He looked mockingly back at Mr. Grant, "What, you still want to use the methods from four years ago?"
Four years ago, just as he entered the Grant Family’s hall, Mr. Grant had ordered people to tie him up and throw him upstairs.
"Tie him up."
Mr. Grant’s face changed, steadying his voice, he commanded.
This was Ethan Grant delivering himself to the door.
"No, you can’t!"
