Mr. Fairchild's Rose: She is Wild and Proud-Chapter 303 - 210: Teaching Sylvia Lane a Lesson (Part 3)
Sylvia Lane spoke tearfully, crying her heart out, "If Mrs. Fairchild doesn’t believe me and trusts Maeve, then I’ll leave now."
As she said this, she shakily stood up, continuously sobbing, and began to walk downstairs.
At that moment.
Mrs. Fairchild held her back, "Alright, I believe you."
Sylvia felt a slight relief in her heart; for a moment, she truly thought her image in front of Mrs. Fairchild had completely collapsed.
Thankfully, Mrs. Fairchild held her back.
"With Maeve as your sister, you really have endured a lot of grievances, haven’t you? You must have been bullied frequently, right?" Mrs. Fairchild glanced at Sylvia, whose miserable state reminded her of the last time she was driven to the hospital by Julian and Maeve.
She actually felt somewhat empathetic.
Sylvia quickly turned to gently hug Mrs. Fairchild, showing her injuries, "Madam, look, am I going to be left with scars? It hurts so much."
Mrs. Fairchild furrowed her brows at the sight of the scratches on Sylvia’s fair face.
It looked painful.
If Maeve were to marry Julian someday, would Julian be unable to fight back against her?
Seeing Mrs. Fairchild’s brows furrow even deeper, Sylvia felt that getting hit wasn’t in vain!
At the very least, Mrs. Fairchild’s impression of Maeve was worsened!
...
Maeve hadn’t yet reached the door when a black Maybach approached.
She saw Miles Hughes driving and a man with half his face obscured in the back seat.
The car stopped ten meters away from her.
Julian Fairchild stepped out of the car before it was fully stopped, with his long strides.
For some reason, Maeve felt a bit exhausted.
She stood still, watching Julian walk toward her, step by step.
The man was strikingly handsome, his eyes deep black like the night, as he walked up to Maeve and took her hand.
Her soft and fair palm was slightly reddened now; one could only imagine how much force she had used then.
"Miles."
Miles hurriedly took a bottle of medicine from the car, promptly handing it to Julian.
Maeve was curious, "How is it that you know everything so quickly?"
Julian remained silent, focusing intently on applying the medicine to her, an air of impending storm about him.
She looked up into Julian’s eyes and said, "Why aren’t you speaking?"
Julian’s eyes narrowed slightly, pulling the corner of his mouth toward the crowd watching them from not far away, then suddenly picked up Maeve. Instinctively, Maeve reached to wrap her arms around his neck.
But the man commanded, "Don’t touch."
Maeve blinked, looking a bit aggrieved, "You’re so harsh..."
Julian slapped her rear firmly, warning sharply: "There’s worse to come; you better brace yourself."
Maeve’s face quickly turned red, she buried her head in Julian’s chest, leaving only the tips of her flushed ears visible.
This man is crazy!
What kind of place is this, out in the open public; he actually...actually struck her there!
Mrs. Fairchild was thrilled to see Julian had returned, and the group of people curiously followed her to see what Julian Fairchild, the legendary figure, looked like, only to witness the scene just now.
Though they didn’t see his face clearly, Julian and Maeve’s intimate actions were seen by everyone.
Mrs. Fairchild looked around, feeling embarrassed.
Julian really, couldn’t he have restrained himself!
So unabashed during the daytime.
Once Julian and the others were out of their sight, Mrs. Fairchild threatened, "Anyone who talks about what they saw just now..."
"Oh...we’ll definitely keep it a secret!"
"Yes, yes, Second Young Master Fairchild is truly a man of talent."
"Even though we didn’t see his face clearly, you can still tell he’s first-class appearance."
Sylvia tightly bit her lip, her face trembling from suppressed emotions and jealousy.
Regardless of whether Rosalyn Jennings was pretending to be crazy or had genuinely had another episode, she would only wait for three months.
If Maeve and Julian did not separate within those three months, she was determined not to show mercy!
If Julian learned of that significant indiscretion Maeve had, even if he liked her, he would certainly have reservations!
She didn’t believe Julian could act as if nothing happened after being given such a "green hat" by Maeve.
Had it not been for her lack of certainty, and the peculiar feeling that even if Julian knew he wouldn’t leave Maeve, she would have done this long ago.
But doing this wouldn’t benefit her much, it might even risk angering Julian.
This approach would be a lose-lose situation.
To be with Julian, the opportunity must be seized from Maeve.
Not only must she get Maeve to willingly leave Julian, but she must also create opportunities for herself!
If before the idea seemed far-fetched, now the presence of Rosalyn Jennings gave Sylvia a glimmer of hope.
Seeing Rosalyn slapped her so hard today and even directly barged into the Fairchild Family, Sylvia knew Rosalyn’s place in Maeve’s heart.
If Rosalyn were to persuade Maeve to give up on Julian, creating an opportunity for her to marry into the Fairchild Family?!
Sylvia touched her own face.
That might not be impossible.
As long as her mother sincerely wants to help her.
