Chapter 1100: Chapter 1096: My Fingers Are Reserved for Married Women

"Hello, Doctor, wearing the white coat, looking so impressive." Although Evander Lancaster portrayed himself as ordinary, Vivian Zimmerman didn’t believe it for a second. How could a man of Director Croft’s status make friends with ordinary people?

Her gaze fell on Evander Lancaster’s fingers holding the champagne flute, and she flattered, "Wow, no wonder your hands are so beautiful for a doctor!"

Evander switched the champagne flute to the other hand, his long fingers twisting around in front of her, looking amused as he said, "I wouldn’t say beautiful, but," he deliberately dragged out his words here, raising his eyes to look at Vivian with a meaningful glance, "what matters is the length is sufficient, they’ve helped many women before."

Vivian...

She bit her lip, pretending to be shy, and pouted accusingly under Evander’s meaningful gaze, "You’re terrible, are all you men this naughty, how can you say such things? I don’t even have a boyfriend yet."

Evander raised an eyebrow playfully. For a girl of Sophie Foster’s age, such gestures were cute, but for the middle-aged woman in front of him with makeup caked on, those gestures were just disgusting.

Sneering inwardly, he wore a mischievous curve on his lips, raised an eyebrow once more, looked calmly at his long fingers and said slowly, "You don’t understand, do you? This hand of mine, it’s really only for women with boyfriends."

After speaking, he raised his phoenix eyes to look at Vivian again, lifted his brows, and said with a meaningful undertone, "Perhaps one day in the future, if you don’t mind my lack of skill, I could serve you too."

Listening to Evander’s brazen and blatant flirting, Vivian blinked her eyes and chided, pouting, "Why wait for the future, isn’t now a perfect opportunity!"

As Vivian finished, Evander pretended to frown in surprise, "Oh? Is the young lady... with child? Why didn’t I notice?"

"Hey, what nonsense are you talking, you’re so annoying!" Vivian lightly punched Evander’s shoulder as if they were close friends.

Evander couldn’t be bothered to deal with such a pretentious woman. After Vivian retrieved her fist, he dusted off an imaginary speck on his shoulder, coughed lightly, and his expression grew a little more serious.

"Miss, I think you might be mistaken. As an obstetrician, aren’t my hands meant solely for women with boyfriends?"

Seeing Vivian’s smile freeze little by little, he leaned closer and added, "You know, when women are giving birth, they rely entirely on my long fingers to measure how much their cervix has dilated."

After saying that, he straightened up and leisurely sipped his champagne as he watched the dramatic change of expressions on Vivian’s makeup-caked face.

"Hey, scaring pretty girls with horror stories again, old friend? Look, you’ve frightened her so badly she’s turned pale." Felix Shaw had approached at some point, alone, with Mia Foster not accompanying him, holding a champagne flute in hand.

As he arrived before them, he raised his glass to Vivian in acknowledgment. Evander languidly glanced at him, a playful light in his phoenix eyes.

Vivian came back to her senses, forced a smile more pained than a cry, and nodded politely, "You chat, I’ll head over there first."

Watching Vivian flee hastily, Felix Shaw didn’t forget to call after her back with a teasing gleam in his eyes, "Hey, miss, don’t take it seriously, my buddy was just joking with you."

With Felix’s words, Vivian quickened her steps, the hem of her long fishtail dress catching under her feet, nearly tripping her up.

Watching Vivian’s awkward appearance, the two brothers laughed uproariously without restraint.

"Using that same routine to scare women again, old friend? Look at how you scared her," Felix Shaw withdrew his gaze, laughter still evident in his eyes.

Evander raised his hand again to admire his beautiful fingers, loftily saying, "How can you blame me? I just told her my long fingers are solely for serving women; she assumed incorrectly."

"Pfft!" Felix Shaw almost spat out his champagne.

He wiped nonexistent moisture from his handsome face and burst out with a curse.

"Damn, when did you become so wicked? I thought you’d turn people off with your blind date tactics."

Evander brought his fingers up before Felix’s face, raising only the middle finger, and asked with a raised brow, "Disgusted? Want to try firsthand?"

"Get lost! I’m straight!" Looking at the long middle finger in front of him, Felix crinkled his nose in distaste; the thought of a finger involved in certain deeds set chills down his spine.

"I never said you were bent, if I turned you crooked, Mia would kill me." Evander shrugged off nonchalantly while sipping his champagne. Watching his casual demeanor, Felix licked his lips and frowned.

"Old friend, you’re no spring chicken anymore, why haven’t you ever dated a woman? You aren’t bent, are you?"

"Why don’t you give it a try?" Evander angled his eyes playfully at Felix, whose involuntary shudder made him lick his lips and say, "No, if you do like men, don’t fret, even if the whole world objects, I will stand by you."

"Who’s fond of men?" Mia Foster joined them, intimately taking Felix’s arm and smiling at Evander, asking, "Evander, do you like men? Any boyfriend? Bring him over for your sister-in-law to meet, I can help evaluate."

Evander...

He could curse up a storm with his brothers, but with Mia Foster...

Shooting Felix a speechless glance, he turned to Mia with a smile, "Sister-in-law, don’t listen to Felix’s nonsense, think of me as a gentleman, handsome and elegant, how could I possibly like men!"

"Then why don’t we see you dating?" Mia countered, leaving Evander sighing, "Sister-in-law, do you women all have a maternal glow? My mom just pushed me to go on a blind date the other day, and now you’re asking this; do I really seem bent?"

Mia took a good, mock-serious look at Evander and said, "Nowadays, people can disguise themselves, how are we supposed to tell."

Evander...

He almost spat a mouthful of blood.

Mia turned her head to Felix, raising her brows at him triumphantly, having overheard bits of their earlier conversation, thinking to herself that no one could experiment on her man without her consent!

"Sister-in-law, I’m not pretending, I am bent, is that satisfactory now?" Evander admitted defeat with resignation, only for Mia to add another jab, "Brother-in-law, I trust you, with that masculine aura of yours, even if you were bent, you’d definitely be the top, a millennium top!"
