Chapter 1070: Chapter 1066: Did Siliu Bring That Little Bitch Home Again?

After considering for a while, Henry Hargrave asked, "What time are we going tomorrow?"

Nicholas Croft cast a sideways glance at Beatrice Hargrave, his handsome face showing no extra emotion. After turning back, he said, "Actually, Alexander Zimmerman is already auditioning in the recording studio. If there’s nothing else, it’s better for Beatrice to go early."

Henry Hargrave nodded, "Alright, I’ll have the driver take Beatrice early tomorrow."

"Mr. Hargrave, I’ll be leaving first," Nicholas Croft stood up from the sofa, picked up his coat, and Henry nodded in response, instructing Beatrice Hargrave, "Beatrice, see Nicholas out for me."

"Mr. Hargrave, no need," Beatrice Hargrave responded with an ’oh’ and hadn’t stood up before Nicholas Croft declined. She stood still, watching him hang the coat over his arm and stride toward the door without saying a word to her. Beatrice continued playing with her fingers, though her face showed no extra emotion, her heart couldn’t hide the disappointment.

"Nicholas, why leave so soon? You haven’t even had a sip of tea," Josephine Hawthorne emerged from the kitchen carrying a tray of tea, just in time to see Nicholas Croft leaving.

Nicholas Croft paused with a smile, courteously said, "No, Madam, I have a meeting in the afternoon," then continued walking forward. As he reached the door, he suddenly turned around, "Mr. Hargrave, I forgot to mention, auditions in the studio can sometimes last several days and nights; I wonder if Beatrice can handle it."

"Nicholas, don’t worry, Beatrice is young, if she can’t handle this bit of hardship, what future could she possibly have?" Henry Hargrave promised with a smile, Nicholas nodded once more and then left.

Josephine Hawthorne placed the tea tray on the coffee table, displeased as she glanced at Beatrice Hargrave, still standing foolishly. She turned to Henry Hargrave to ask, puzzled, "Who is going to the recording studio?" 𝕗𝗿𝕖𝐞𝐰𝗲𝕓𝐧𝕠𝕧𝗲𝐥.𝚌𝐨𝚖

"Beatrice, the musicians we hired earlier have already written a song for her. She’s going to the recording studio for an audition tomorrow."

Before sitting down on the sofa, Josephine Hawthorne shot another glance at Beatrice Hargrave, sneered sarcastically, and said, in a strange tone, "Good to record, it’ll be peaceful for a few days."

Glaring fiercely at Josephine Hawthorne, Beatrice Hargrave wanted to retort, "You don’t want to see me, and I don’t want to see you!" But before she could speak, Henry Hargrave suddenly turned sternly and asked, "Beatrice, where did you stay last night?"

"You already know!" Beatrice Hargrave replied unhappily, still holding a grudge over what Henry had said yesterday, despite both being his daughters, he kicked her out after a dispute.

"Beatrice, I don’t care where you stayed last night, but I must remind you, never throw tantrums again or talk back to your stepmother!"

Faced with her father’s warning, Beatrice Hargrave did not argue, understanding clearly her position in his heart.

Coldly, she said, "Got it," then proceeded towards the stairs. Since she’ll be heading to the recording studio tomorrow, she hoped she could stay there forever.

Watching Beatrice Hargrave’s figure disappear on the stairs, Josephine Hawthorne quickly asked her husband, "Grayson, what’s going on, why did Nicholas bring her back?"

Henry Hargrave glanced at his wife, showing impatience, "What’s going on? Last night, I called Nicholas to help find Beatrice, so today he brought her back."

As Henry Hargrave finished speaking, Josephine Hawthorne suddenly jumped up from the sofa, eyes wide, raising her voice while pointing towards the stairs, asking, "What? Do you mean Nicholas found that little brat last night and brought her home?"
