"I went to the company today to get the new script. It’s an anti-corruption drama, a new work by Director Lang Fabin. After reading the script, I found that it’s indeed an impressive work of his after his years away from the industry - truly excellent."
"They started preparing for it quite early. I know about it. Director Lang had approached me, but I had no free slots in my schedule. The TV drama I’m about to start filming is also a good one, a collaboration with a director we’ve worked with before. We’ve been contracted for a long time, and I can’t just break my word after signing. I’ve already done an anti-corruption drama before, and compared to Director Lang’s drama, the one I’m currently signed for is more appealing to me, so I turned it down."
"Do you have any work plans after this drama ends?"

Liang He placed the script on the coffee table, stretched out his arm around her shoulders, and kissed her forehead, "Are you sure you’re going to do it?"
"Yeah, I’m sure." Long Tianjiao tilted her head to look at him, "Are you going to let me do kissing scenes?"
"You make your own decision."
Of course, he didn’t want her to do kissing scenes. Very much so!
He also didn’t want to do kissing scenes with others, but after so many years in the industry, he understood very clearly that rejecting essential kissing scenes would only show unprofessionalism and if word got out, it would reflect poorly.
So after thinking it over, he decided to let her make her own choice.

"One," he said honestly, "in the latter half of the show. The director said it’s just a peck, and I agreed, because the script is good and there are few kissing scenes, which is why I accepted it."
Long Tianjiao knew that compared to the kissing scenes he had done before, this was much less and far more reserved.
She also understood that a TV drama definitely wouldn’t be without them.
"Who’s the female lead?"
"Chu Xin, she’s also a top box-office actress, and she’s married too, with no scandals. I reckon there shouldn’t be too much fuss. Seeing that the director and the team recommended her, I didn’t object."
