Mr. CEO Has a Crush on Me-Chapter 1293: The Child Belongs to Gu Annan (Part 1)
Lu Wanwan stared at the windshield without blinking.
The wipers kept swinging, the rain curtain outside the glass blurred and then cleared up.
The man in the car tightly gripped the phone, his enigmatic face flickering under the headlights.
"I told you, I’m letting you go." Gu Annan’s voice continued, even through the radio, it exerted pressure out of thin air, "I know what she wants, but I only ask you to release her. Anything else, you can have nothing. You have this opportunity now, it may not be there in the future."
"Make way!" was Mo Han’s only response.
Gu Annan’s condition was enticing; if he truly made such a promise, it was credible.
But...
Mo Han had no other choice; he needed to rush back to meet Xiao Ye.
"If any of your people keep following, I can stream Lu Miss’s desperate state live for you."
Mo Han said no more, and after hanging up, he started the car.
The air inside the car seemed compressed, he felt he couldn’t breathe.
The man in the car ten-odd meters away had an eye you couldn’t muster the courage to resist.
He needed to leave here quickly, to escape Gu Annan’s coercion as soon as possible.
Mo Han, rare for him, felt nervous, although there was clearly no car following him, he still frantically drove the car fast, rushing toward the unseen dark end.
"Gu Shao."
Gu Annan’s phone was almost crushed.
Mu Bei’s voice was hesitant and anxious.
"Gu Shao, are we really not going to chase after him?"
The voice, frighteningly calm, said slowly, "We’ll know where he’s gone, no need to follow closely. He won’t be able to escape."
Mo Han wasn’t easily persuaded, but he would certainly consider this matter in his heart.
When pushed, he would really harm Lu Wanwan.
As long as the locator remained, it would still be possible to accurately find his position.
*
After a whole night of rain, it finally stopped in the morning.
Lu Wanwan groggily opened her eyes to find herself in an unfamiliar room, with no one else but her.
She abruptly woke up, checked around, and found her clothes had been changed!
"Creak."
The door was pushed open, and a fifty-something aunt walked in.
Seeing her awake, she was slightly surprised.
"Who are you?" Lu Wanwan, panicking, came down, "Where is this place?"
This was evidently not a hotel; it looked like a homestay.
The aunt just shook her head at her, unsure whether she couldn’t understand or refused to answer.
She held a clean towel, placing it by the bed.
"If you shower, you can use these."
The aunt appeared Asian, but her non-standard Chinese indicated she was a Chinese-American.
"Where are my clothes?"
The aunt reacted calmly, picked up the towel, pressed down on it, folded below were her clothes from last night.
They had been cleaned and dried.
"Yesterday, you were wet, soaked in the rain." The aunt stammered in explanation, gesturing again.
"This was... you changed for me?" Lu Wanwan glanced at the long skirt she wore and asked tentatively.
The aunt nodded, "Soaked, sick. Need to change into clean ones."
"Thank you." She quickly got up, ready to leave.
The aunt seemingly had no intention of stopping her, as if she wasn’t being watched.
"Less than an hour left, just waiting for the plane to be ready... I already contacted some people yesterday, Xie Liancheng doesn’t know..."
Lu Wanwan heard Mo Han’s voice.
