Mountain Sitting Immortal-Chapter 195: Exchanging Lessons.
He thought to himself as he watched it slowly descend, "I guess this must be how people must have felt when they first saw the Titanic."
The Titanic was an era-defining ship. It was large, yet said to be impossible to sink. Many people feigned disbelief when they saw something that large floating in water. He felt that kind of disbelief seeing something this large floating in the air.
He could accept it easily if something this large was floating in the ocean. But he couldn't accept that it was floating in the air because it didn't look like an airplane. It was just a ship. It wasn't an object pretending to be a bird at all.
The ship didn't have propellers. It didn't have any apparent jet engines or rockets. It didn't even have sails.
It didn't look like something that had any business floating in the air. Yet, it was doing so right before his disbelieving eyes.
The ship landed softly some distance away from the outer gate of the Dyson family. Then a walkway slowly extended from its side to the ground.
The people that had been waiting below used this walkway to ascend the boat. They took their time and didn't rush.
No one wanted to look like a barbarian to the people of the inner court of the family. Many of them became subdued and respectful as they got onto the ship. They became silent and looked around timidly.
This was especially the case for Arthur's students. They didn't dare to mess around for fear of being punished. They were also in awe of the flying ship. They didn't want to break anything that they couldn't pay for, even if they sold themselves into slavery.
Very few people were like Arthur, who didn't feel any pressure to behave. After getting over his initial shock, he quickly became interested in how the ship was flying.
He rushed into the ship with Roar running after him to keep up with him. Then he began looking around the ship for anything that might point out how it was flying.
On the floor above him, there was a group of young adults who were looking down at him and the others just getting on the boat. They all had blond hair and blue eyes.
When they saw his behavior, some of them laughed. They pointed at him and whispered amongst themselves.
One of them even sneered and said loudly, "What a shameless bumpkin gawking at everything like some monkey."
If it was before he acquired the dominating force intent, he wouldn't have cared about that. He wouldn't have cared about what someone thinks about him.
But he had acquired the dominating force intent and had become proud. There was no way he was going to accept that kind of insult from someone that he could smack around.
He leaped and jumped onto the next floor. The young man who had spoken earlier saw him coming and became angry.
He scolded Arthur, "Where do you think you are? Do you think this is a zoo for you to galivant about like some untrained beast?"
Arthur also became angry when he heard that. He said, "I will teach you who is the beast between me and you."
He stretched his hand down towards the man as he fell towards him. He was aiming to maim the young man.
Earlier when he jumped, he just wanted to smack the young man. He would have been content with removing a layer of skin from his face. But now, he won't be satisfied until he has crippled the man for disrespecting him again and again.
But before he could reach the man, a golden barrier appeared between the two of them. The golden barrier blocked him and made him hang in the air above the man.
An invisible force had also descended on him. The force froze him in the air. So no matter how he struggled, he couldn't move at all.
A grand, majestic voice spoke, "No fighting on the ship."
He didn't see who spoke, and he couldn't identify where the voice came from, but he recognized the owner of the voice because he had heard it before.
He identified the speaker to be the patriarch he had seen during Jason's send-off party. He also realized that the invisible force holding him was similar to the force that had groped his body during the party.
He was clearly outmatched, so he bowed and said, "Yes, patriarch."
There was no reply. The invisible force only brought him back to the ground floor. It set him down on the spot he had jumped from and let him go.
Arthur glared at the young man who had disrespected him and said, "We will continue this somewhere else."
The young man laughed and said, "What a fool! You don't know that you were just saved from me. You can't appreciate the kindness of the patriarch. I guess I will have to teach you to appreciate the kindness of the patriarch."
Arthur was impressed that the young man had turned his words against him, but he wasn't going to compliment. Instead, he snorted and left.
He continued to examine the ship while the young adults above snickered and mocked him. They weren't intimidated by his attire at all. Pride and confidence were ingrained in their bones too much to be afraid of him.
It wasn't exactly a reaction based on foolishness. They were all at the tenth transformation of the first mortal coil. He was also at the first mortal coil.

So at most, he would be equal to them in strength. That is highly unlikely for a bastard that they have never heard of. But even if that were so, it is not enough reason for them to fear him.
Arthur was unhappy that he couldn't beat them up, but he stopped thinking about it once he understood that there was nothing he could do about it as long as they were in the ship.
