Days at the academy were actually pretty normal.
If it weren’t for the creepy yandere stalking me, the nosy saintess, and Lara’s love interests hovering around, it would be perfect.
I feel like Lara wants to ask me something.
But she’s probably scared.
I went to a café with Ymir.
A place called Mia Sweet Shop.
It’s got a really relaxing vibe. Not super famous, but it has a solid group of regulars.
I came to drink tea with Ymir and chat a bit.
"Hmm, this is perfect," I said and took a light sip of black tea.
I don’t like the bitter taste, so adding a few sugars to sweeten it is simple.
"So, how’s it going with that girl?" I asked, looking at Ymir.
My Viking buddy was deep in thought. "Her boyfriend fell into depression... I wish I’d known before I kissed her," he said.
He bowed his head.
"It’s not a big deal. You just expressed your feelings, and the girl was pretty warm toward you," I said, lightly closing my eyes.
It’s one of a friend’s duties, so I was listening and giving advice. "That girl’s name is Linda, Raul, stop just saying ’that girl.’"
"Ahem, go talk to Linda’s boyfriend," I said, and Ymir lifted his head.
I gave him my best advice.
I am sure he has the same feeling about Linda’s boyfriend.
His eyes were trembling. "For real?"
"Of course, bro. He probably doesn’t know what happened between you and Linda. Go talk to him."
He stood up. "You’re right, I should talk to him."
Ymir was an easy man, never thinking so much; he just let things go with the flow.
The whole café was staring at us.
’Fuck you, Ymir! Why are you screaming where a bunch of people are here? I’m cursing Ymir inside my mind.
I bowed my head.

In that moment, I just wanted to dispear.
After paying the bill, we went looking for Linda’s boyfriend.

He was probably there.
When I suggested going there, Ymir accepted.

The black-haired, brown-eyed guy stood up. "Yes, I’m Felix. How can I help you?"
"There’s just something we wanted you to know. Ymir will explain," I said and lightly patted Ymir’s back.
The guy wasn’t tall; shorter than both of us, about 175 cm.
But this is an otome game world, so nobody is truly ugly.
You’re either super handsome or average.
Ugly people sure exist, but most of them are bandits, some nobles, and maybe some commoners.
Okay, admit I’m being narcissistic.
Ymir was looking at me like I’d betrayed him.

He lifted his head and looked at Ymir.
After sighing, Ymir told him what happened.
How did he meet Linda, and his relationship with her.
How he kissed the girl, but the girl put him in friendzone.
My boy is really gonna cry because of that.

Felix’s already pale skin got even paler.
For a second, I was scared the guy might be albino.
"So... you kissed my girlfriend?" Felix said, his voice empty.
Then he put his hand on Ymir’s shoulder and gently pulled him down. "I’m sorry, bro. I didn’t know she had a boyfriend. I just thought you had the right to know," Ymir said.
He was new to this kind of thing.
He’s funny, but to face the boyfriend of the girl he loved.

Ymir hugged back and lifted him into the air.

Felix: "YOU TOO, WE ARE BROTHERS FOREVER"
I didn’t freeze time, but everyone’s eyes were on Ymir.
