Chapter 201: Chapter 201: Faerie Elders (I)

"Just like with our darling and Jojo. We can sense that you love him like your own son, but we see no golden line between the two of you. We also see no golden line between Jojo and his father," Crush Tutu explained further.

"Uhm, actually, based on the stories from the elders, the crimson-eyed demon would adopt the golden-eyed demon as his son, and then... and then teach him how to kill everyone!"

"Ohh! Yes! Good one, Dodo!" Crush Tutu said. "Yes, that’s how the story goes, darling!"

Sisi knew the faeries wouldn’t lie. So there must be no real golden line between Jojo and Kael.

But how come Kael never told her anything about this?

On top of that, the story from the faeries was actually quite disturbing. Did that happen to the previous Dusk and Dawn Stars? Did Kael’s previous self teach Jojo how to kill everyone, and did Jojo’s previous self actually do it?

Surely, Sisi didn’t believe that could happen, knowing how peaceful Jojo was.

But she ought to ask Kael about Jojo’s real identity and whether he was truly Jojo’s father.

Other than that, she also had to tell the faeries about some good news.

"Listen up, little ones."

The faeries became alert immediately. They all stood on the table and formed a row, looking up at their darling, ready for any order.

"I talked with Grandma Tree last night. She said that she will send a few elders here so they can help find a cure for Jojo," Sisi announced. "And I also told Grandma Tree about the courageous trio of Crush Tutu, Jan Keke, and Bold Dodo, who went on a perilous journey just to find me. I’m sure that the elders won’t be mad at any of you, since you were the first to meet me. Maybe you’ll even get a reward!"

"Ohhhh! Thank you, darling!"

"Darling is so kind!"

"I knew it. Finding our darling is the best move!"

The trio of faeries were elated by the news. They actually didn’t expect any reward. Meeting their darling was enough of a reward for faeries like them.

But they were glad that they wouldn’t be punished, since they were young, and young faeries had sensitive hearts.

If they got punished, their peers would be too scared to befriend them, afraid that they’d get punished too.

Sisi smiled, seeing the elated faeries. Even if these faeries were still young, their courage was commendable, and Sisi surely wanted to keep them around as companions or little assistants, since they went through so much just to find her on their own initiative.

"Now, let’s just wait for the faerie elders to come here. I’m curious what kind of help they could provide for Jojo."

**

The faerie land had been in a rather somber situation for the past few days. They hadn’t been able to locate their darling. On top of that, three young faeries—including Crush Tutu—left the faerie land to search for the darling on their own.

They were just three kids who had almost never left the faerie land. How could they travel so far? Did they not realize the danger outside?

Elder Toto’s body was weakening as he was worried sick about his granddaughter. He didn’t want anything bad to happen to his one and only granddaughter, but there hadn’t been any news from the faerie soldiers sent out by General Gugu so far.

Elder Toto was sitting on a log directly under the massive ancient tree.

Grandma Tree told them to search for their darling, and perhaps Crush Tutu became impatient when their search resulted in nothing, so she took the chance herself to find their darling.

It was courageous, but also incredibly reckless.

At this point, even Elder Toto had no strength to get mad at his granddaughter anymore. All he wanted was for Tutu to be safe and sound.

"Grandma, please help me this time. I really don’t want anything bad to happen to my granddaughter," Elder Toto muttered. "Please tell me her whereabouts, so we can bring her back."

As Elder Toto uttered his wish, the ancient tree suddenly shook its branches, and the leaves began to fall with a message.

Everyone around Grandma Tree began to react as they yelled at each other, telling them to grab the leaves and read the message.

Elder Toto grabbed one, and he almost jumped with joy when he read the message from Grandma Tree.

Crush Tutu, Jan Keke, and Bold Dodo have found our darling. She is in the north, inside a kingdom called the Beast Kingdom.

Escort three elders to the Beast Kingdom to meet her and fulfill our darling’s request.

So she will finally return to us.

"Elder Toto! Elder Toto! The news is about your granddaughter!" a young faerie flew toward the elder, followed by a flock of faeries who came to gather around him as well.

Elder Toto reread the message on the leaf at least three more times, making sure he didn’t miss anything, and nodded.

His heart was finally at ease knowing that his granddaughter and her companions were safe and had performed a miracle by finding their darling before everyone else.

"Does that mean our darling will be home soon?"

"Oh! I can’t wait to see her! I’ve missed our darling!"

"What if she cannot enter through the faerie gate? She’s a half-human after all..."

"Silly, she’s still part faerie! Of course, Grandma Tree will allow her in!"

Elder Toto listened to the chatter of the faeries around him. He stood up and said, "I’ll meet with the elders and talk about this. Grandma Tree told us to send three elders to the Beast Kingdom to fulfill our darling’s request. So that request must be important!"

Elder Toto felt like he was fifty years younger now. He regained his strength and flew directly to the faerie court, and it didn’t take long for the rest of the elder faeries to show up as well.

They all looked elated, just like him. The elders formed a circle and discussed about what to do next.
