However, different from Mr. Piker, Kael that pinned her down was no longer a man, but a wild beast in a rut. All he wanted was to stick his dick inside her and claim her as his, even if he had to force her.
Sisi began to get a vision of Mr. Piker again, but in a much more menacing and cruel way. This rutting beast was like the frightening version of Mr. Piker that she couldn’t fight back.
She didn’t even want to call him Kael anymore, because the Kael that she knew was very gentle towards Jojo, and she doubted this beast could even distinguish his own family.
As the beast was about to go further, Sisi reacted wildly and yelled, "Back off! I SAID BACK OFF!"
Sisi began using her power to summon vines that burst from underground and through the windows to restrain the beast, but all of them were in vain because he was just too strong.
Sisi’s head started to ache as she used her power again after fainting not long ago. Her attacks began to weaken, and so did her body—but then Jojo’s voice finally snapped her out of her daze.
"SISI!"
Sisi’s eyes were wide open in an instant. She darted her eyes and saw Jojo looking at them in horror.
"N-no, Jojo don’t look!" Sisi yelled as she didn’t want the boy she raised to witness such a shameful and hopeless scene. "Your Daddy is acting a little crazy. I don’t want him to hurt you!
But Jojo, being stubborn as always, had already run towards them, and tackled his father with all his strength—which was basically nothing.
"Daddy! What’s wrong with you!? Why did you hurt Sisi!" Jojo yelled as he tried to tackle his father a few more times, and after realizing that didn’t work, he decided to jump on top of his body and bite him. "Daddy, let go of Sisi! She’s scared!"
"Grrrhhh!" the beast grunted, but he didn’t stop pinning her down. At this point, Kael had truly lost his sense of self.
He was nothing but a rutting beast, unable to stop until he got what he wanted—claiming this woman as his mate.
"Jojo, d-don’t get close to him. He’s dangerous," Sisi said. "L-leave now. I can stop him myself."
"No, you can’t, Sisi!" Jojo yelled as he was pulling Kael’s hair while sitting at his father’s shoulder. "Daddy is too strong! He will hurt you!"
Jojo was staring at her while crying. He looked heartbroken, something that no four-year-old should’ve shown.
Seeing his tears gave Sisi a heartache. Even if she might be ruined after this, she didn’t want Jojo to see her in ruin.
"Jojo, leave..." Sisi replied weakly. "I’m fine. Your Daddy... he... he will wake up soon. Don’t worry about me..."
Jojo recalled all the time Sisi was hurt, and remembered how she always tried to pacify him when he was distressed, even if she was hurting badly.
And the boy knew that Sisi was hurting badly right now, all caused by his own father.
The beast growled again, and his body began to get coated with black fur, a sign that he had truly lost control over himself.
Jojo knew his father would hurt—no, kill Sisi at this point. So, with all his strength and determination, Jojo pulled his father’s hair just so he would stop burying his face on Sisi’s belly.
"Stop! Daddy, you’re hurting my Mommy!" Jojo yelled with all his tears and snot falling onto Kael’s head.
"Grh!" The beast finally sensed the boy sitting on his shoulder. He grabbed Jojo by his arm, and flung him until his back hit the wall.
"Ack!"
"Jojo! NO!"
Jojo writhed in pain, but he stood up again, ready for another fight against his father.
"Just leave! You’re going to hurt yourself!"
"I won’t leave you alone, Sisi!" Jojo rushed towards his father again, but before he could even reach him, the beast grabbed the boy’s neck at terrifying speed, and then flung him away once again.
Sisi used the last bit of her strength to summon a vine that burst out the ground and caught Jojo midair.
"Jojo, run..." Sisi was already struggling to breathe. She knew she would lose consciousness again soon, and when she woke, something precious—something she had guarded all her life—might be taken from her against her will.
The cruelty of it made her chest ache. It wouldn’t be taken by a monster like Mr. Piker, but by the creature controlling Kael’s body, the father of the boy she had raised, and the only man she had ever truly trusted.
Tears gathered in her eyes as she stared at the ceiling. Grandma Tree told her in her dream that she was a faerie, but would a woman so broken still be welcomed in the faerie land? And if she wasn’t, then where did she belong? She had never truly had a home in this world.
A single tear slipped free and fell to the ground. Sisi shut her eyes, bracing herself for what she believed was inevitable.
Yet her thoughts clung desperately to Jojo... and to Kael.
What would become of Jojo after seeing this? The memory would haunt him forever. He might grow to hate his father, even though Sisi knew this thing wearing Kael’s body wasn’t truly him.
And Kael... Kael would be destroyed by guilt if he ever learned what had happened. He might never forgive himself, even though he wasn’t in control. After all, Sisi knew better that Kael wouldn’t do such a monstrous thing to her.
Jojo had seen everything. Fear overwhelmed him, and he cried until his vision blurred and his eyes burned. He rubbed them frantically, but the darkness wouldn’t clear.
What he didn’t know was that the color of his pupils had changed, from deep blue to radiant gold akin to a summer sun.
"Sisi—Sisi, are you there?" Jojo cried as he stumbled forward, reaching blindly for her. "I—I can’t see! But I’ll find you! W-wait for me, Sisi!"
As the boy stepped forward and extended his hands trying to reach whatever he could touch, he accidentally touched his father’s face. Even though he was currently blind, Jojo knew that he was touching his father, because his body had been coated in black fur, and his eyes must’ve been as bright as the blood moon.
"What happened to you, Daddy? You promised to make Sisi my Mommy, but you’re hurting her..." Jojo muttered. His tears had also changed in color into gold, as if there was melted gold that dripped from the corner of his eyes and dropped right on his father’s arm. 𝑓𝘳𝘦𝑒𝑤𝑒𝘣𝘯ℴ𝘷𝘦𝓁.𝑐𝑜𝑚
"If you keep hurting Sisi, then we will leave. We don’t need Daddy anymore!"
