Chapter 620: Space Power Potential

Outside the barrier, the others could only see blurred shadows and flashes of symbols.

Solomon swallowed. "This is..."

Karen didn’t finish her thought. She just stared, her breathing turning shallow as a new possibility started gnawing at her mind.

Haid’s hands clenched and unclenched. He wanted to step closer, but he remembered Alex’s warning and forced himself to stay back.

Inside, Alex continued. He drew a new ring of runes around the heart first. A second ring formed around the brain. A third ring wrapped around the spine.

This process was necessary to transform Faerith into a vampire. To become a true vampire, he had to change her from the foundation up.

It wasn’t just the body. It was also the soul.

Normally, he could only do this after becoming a true Progenitor, but now he could achieve a similar result, just lower quality.

Faerith’s soul trembled as it was transformed, and for a moment the whole barrier flickered.

Haid’s face went pale. "Did something go wrong?"

"Don’t worry," MingYue said calmly.

Alex poured more lifeforce into the runes, and this time he started using his Progenitor authority.

An intense aura spread out from him. Everyone took a step back and instinctively looked away. It felt like their souls were being pressed down just from being near him.

Only MingYue could keep watching without any problem.

The power intensified. The runes flashed, then dimmed.

The barrier began to fluctuate, showing pieces of what was happening inside. When the Progenitor aura faded, Solomon and the others looked back toward the barrier.

Solomon’s eyes widened when a silhouette became visible. It looked like a human frame forming from the inside out, veins and muscle lines appearing, then disappearing behind the rune-light again.

Karen whispered, "He’s really creating a human body."

Haid shook his head, voice strained. "To think this is even possible..."

Even with all his knowledge and access to information in the universe, what was happening was still beyond his understanding.

Alex smiled. He snapped his fingers, and the barrier disappeared.

As it vanished, a familiar figure appeared.

Haid’s eyes turned watery as he felt a huge burden lift from his shoulders.

"Faerith... is that really you, dear?"

Her appearance became clear. She raised both hands and looked at him with tears in her eyes.

"Finally... after all these years."

Haid couldn’t hold back. He hurried forward, then stopped a step away and looked her over from head to toe.

She looked just like he remembered, and he gulped.

"But is this dress necessary?"

Faerith wore a tight red Christmas dress with white fur trim, and a wide green ribbon crossed her chest and cinched her waist into a bow, the short skirt ending high above her knees.

Alex let out a chuckle. "Well, it’s Christmas. We have to keep it festive."

He turned to Solomon and the others.

"How about we have a party? I know you’re all excited to tie everything up, but today humanity just beat the Meaclayte and Sigma."

He pointed upward with one finger. "And it’s Christmas."

A small smile tugged at his lips. "A new era starting on Christmas too. That’s got to be a sign."

Faerith was still staring at her hands. She flexed her fingers, then curled them into a fist.

Alex reminded her with a chuckle.

"Don’t give your new body too much stimulus. Your should should have no rejection on the new body, but better to Give it some time."

Haid coughed once.

Faerith’s face turned red like tomato. "You punk!"

Haid coughed again and looked away.

Faerith pointed at him. "Stop coughing."

MingYue tilted her head, feeling confused what they mean.

Solomon sighed and shook his head at the lovey-dovey couple. "That’s a good idea. Tell everyone to stay here one more night. Karen, they deserve a break."

Karen didn’t answer.

Solomon frowned. "Karen?"

Karen walked to Alex.

Alex noticed and stopped joking. "Karen?"

She grabbed his hand with both of hers. Her voice came out rough.

"Alex... could you do the same for the President?"

Solomon’s expression turned heavy.

Mingyue glanced over for a second.

Alex didn’t pull his hand away. His eyes sharpened. "I can’t just make anyone a vampire, but I can at least recover his body."

"That’s enough. As long as he can walk again, it’s all good."

Solomon sighed. "Karen... you don’t need to say it like that. I’m sure Alex already plans to heal me. But even if I’m healed, my life won’t last long."

"President... in that case, he could just-"

Solomon raised a hand, shutting her up. "I have lived enough, Karen. I want to rest now."

With a glance, Alex could see Solomon had really lost his desire to live.

’Seems he has been through a lot all these years.’

"Well, for now, let’s do this."

Alex walked toward Solomon, then poured his lifeforce into him.

Solomon’s complexion began to turn healthier, but the moment

Alex tried to heal his leg and regrow it, he frowned.

’This is leftover space abilities?’

Solomon did say he fought Sigma while helping Faerith...

This made Alex realize space abilities could also be used like a kind of poison.

If space sealed a location, it would also interfere with healing.

’Wait. If I make it small enough, this could trigger a stroke or some other illness.’

Unfortunately, he would need fine control over space to do that, but if he could, it would be useful when experimenting on things.

’If I could control this at a microscopic level, the possibilities...’

Alex’s fingers drew a rune in the air to clear out the remaining space energy, but his mind was busy thinking about the potential.

’Isn’t this like alchemy I’ve read on those manga?

The ability to control and change molecules, shaping them at will.

If I use space energy... at its maximum potential, that should be possible.’

Although it wouldn’t raise his power level much, it would raise his versatility.

It would help him a lot on his journey to gather Alucard blood and hide from the dragon race and their enemies.
