MMORPG: Rebirth Of The Strongest Assassin-Chapter 76: Named Capital City
Feeling her face burning and turning red, Life shook those thoughts away as she contacted several of her team leaders and got ready to set up a meeting for their guild’s laws and several other things.
Since she was now the guild leader, a lot of things would change and not much would stay the same...her father was one thing, and she was another!
They both had their goals and way of conducting things.

The truth was, Life wasn’t the only one thinking about teaming up with Requiem. The major guilds around the Golden Gate Kingdom had also been scrambling to reach him, each hoping to pull him into their ranks.
Even guilds outside the Golden Gate Kingdom had started paying attention. It was hard to ignore the fact that a solo player, someone completely unaffiliated, was the first to hit Level 10. If Requiem had been backed by a big guild, no one would’ve blinked. But he wasn’t, and that made waves.
Most top-tier guilds had full grinding teams supporting their high-level players, making progress much faster. So, how did a lone player beat them all to the city? The answer shook a lot of people.
Requiem’s arrival in Golden Card City set off alarms. He was already setting up while others were still on the road. If they kept dragging their feet, they risked falling dangerously behind.
To speed up their leveling, the guilds turned to mass-producing Lavastones, which were the main component of creating Speed Potions, also known as Experience Potions.
This potion doubled the leveling speed of players, but the only bad effect it had was the fact that Lavastones were by no means easy to find, and the stockpile of the several stalls in Crystialized Stone Town had already been dried clean by the several major guilds.
In just ten minutes of finding the potion and its news spreading across the forums, its stockpile has already dried up!
But none of them realized this was exactly what Requiem had been counting on.

Golden Card City, one of the four major cities in the Golden Gate Kingdom.
Even from a distance, its skyline stood out. Massive buildings stretched high above the streets, dwarfing anything seen in smaller towns. The city itself housed over 100,000 NPCs, and its capacity exceeded two million players. It was the kind of place Guilds dreamed of controlling.
Requiem strolled along the city’s main road, his footsteps steady. Before entering Golden Card City, he had place his Baron title and went through the gate like walking inside of his house, no guard bothered him.
Not that he was particularly worried, the guards wouldn’t trouble someone with his permission from both the mayor and the adventurer guild overseer, even with a red name. Still, it limited his access to top-tier quests, since many NPCs refused to work with red-named players. Better to play it safe.
He glanced at the recommendation letter from Richard, the mayor of Crystilaized Stone Town, and smiled. It was one of the keys he planned to use to gain a foothold here.
There is also his quest, which he took from one of the guards on the gate, and told him to meet a certain individual in the backyard of a store, hence, he had a lot of things to do.
Let’s see what the city hall has to offer.
Golden Card City was the fourth most populated hub in the Golden Gate Kingdom. It couldn’t compare to the scale of Platinum Card City, which is the real capital of the Golden Gate Kingdom, but exploring every corner still took days.
As for why their names were based on the coins and for some reason the capital city had platinum name and the last city had the gold name, such a thing was unknown even to the players seven years from now.
However, many speculated that Golden Card City held a lot of secrets, which is why it took its name from the kingdom name itself, which is obviously inferior to Platinum Card City; the things it held as secrets couldn’t be underestimated.
Still, given the fact that the Golden Gate Kingdom in general was merely one of the smaller scale of kingdoms and wasn’t that strong, many people never bothered to thoroughly explore and focused on the major kingdoms in each region.
The city’s teleportation hall sat near the northeastern edge, not far from the main gates. In contrast, the city hall stood at the very center, right by the bustling Golden Plaza in the Trade District.
What set Golden Card City apart from smaller towns wasn’t just its size; it was the structure. The rules were tighter, the activity constant, and the streets busier. As the central node for hundreds of surrounding towns, it attracted a steady stream of merchants and players. Lining the main streets were all kinds of shops: weaponsmiths, potion vendors, restaurants, clothing boutiques, alchemy labs, armor dealers...you name it.
Many players had speculated that its popularity was the reason for its naming, but such a claim was never approved since the secrets of the Golden Gate Kingdom never came to light, and none finished its main chain quest line.
In fact, no one knew where it was, well, at least in the future.
In this life, however...
Yone chuckled as he checked the assassin brotherhood chain quest next to his map,’ With this, I can basically secure a foothold in this city if I’m not mistaken, I just need to be smart and control both the underground and public market at a similar pace.’
Yone had an idea of what chain quest that was a unique quest held to the kingdom, but he still chose to play it slow, as he didn’t know whether this quest was that important or not. It did affect the kingdom, but on what scale and damage? Those things were still unknown to him.
But he guessed that he would soon know when he met the quest guy and spoke about it, and know a bit more details on the matter.
